When Ashlynn snatched her hand away and pulled it from their laced fingers, a pang of worry flashed over his face, he was afraid he'd done something wrong, untill she gave him a small apoligetic smile, he knew it was okay. When she explained that she didn't want her ex back, but she wished things were like they used to be when her parents were together. Jake couldn't even imagine how she felt, his family was happy and healthy, his parents still together and had four very loving kids. lost kristie? Jake wasn't completely sure what she was talking about, but he didn't want to press her for anymore deep questions tonight, he'd ask her someother time. But when she was finished speaking of her family, he pulled her to him and wrapped his arms around her and just hugged her. His head against her hair, and he'd never realized, that she smelled so good, ha. She had this sweet girly scent to her, and that just made her all the more lovable. He pulled away just slightly to press his lips to her forehead to give her a sweet kiss.

When ashlynn said that they could do whatever he wanted to, a stupid lopsided grin spread across his face as he beamed down at Ashlynn his eyes sparkling, Whatevverrr I want?! Jake asked in a silly tone, before she could respond he bent down and picked her up over his shoulder and ran down the beach towards the water, totally prepared to go throw her in, of course he wouldn't do that. He stopped when they were just about ankle deep and he gently let her down a little and swung her around, her feet still off the ground his arms wrapped securly around her, never wanting to let go- he then showered her with kisses as they stood out in the water. He kissed her on the lips and across her jaw, trailing down to her neck and kissing her collarbone. God- he was falling so hard for this girl.

At first, she was scared he'd question her more about things .. maybe things about her parents, or worse .. Kristie. Those were the kind of questions that triggered her flight-or-fight reflexes. And in this case, it would be flight. She'd have to run off again and retreat to the world she'd created. The world where she didn't dare think about her family, or what had happened in her past. However, he surprised her and pulled her against him, wrapping his arms around her and hugged her. Her eyes widened in startlement, then she flashed him a smile, closing her eyes and snuggling against him. He pulled back, and flashed her a lopsided and silly grin. In surprise, her eyebrows lifted and she began to giggle. Whateverrr I want? He questioned and before she could even open her mouth to respond, he bent down and picked her up over his shoulder.

Giggling, she grabbed onto his shoulder, unable to control her laughter. "Jake!" She squealed and clutched his shoulder, expecting him momentarily to throw her into the water. Then, thankfully, he only set her down and swung her around. With her feet still off the ground, he wrapped his arms around her and showered her in countless kisses. As the kisses trailed from her lips, to across her jaw and down her neck all the way to her collarbone, she giggled happily. "God, you're such a dork." She murmured, her eyes gleaming.

Then, flashing him a smile, she nipped his neck playfully, kissing the side of his jaw. "But you're my dork."

Jake loved the way her laugh sounded and always smiled at the sound of it, she was so cute when she screamed he couldn't help but smile even more as he spun her around near the water. When she called him a dork, he frowned at her looking like he was hurt, but then when she said that he was her dork, another lopsided grin made it's way to Jake's face. He felt like a little kid sometimes when he was Ashlynn, like he could act as goofy as he wanted to and Ashlynn would just laugh with him. He kept his arms wrapped around her waist and finally set her so that her bare feet were in the water. He smiled down at her, the sun beginning to finally fall behind the horizon, making things darker.

So what do you really want to do tonight? He asked her leaning down and kissing her sweetly, over and over again. Then he pulled away just gently and rested his chin over her shoulder, and just embraced her in a hug and held her their, it felt so good and so right to be there with her, nothing in the world mattered at this point. He was so happy just to be with her. You maybe want to go see a movie tonight or go out to dinner? He asked her throwing some suggestions out there, while he smiled down at her.
