Delany smiled and nodded. Yeah, it was all pretty retarded. I just decided early on that I wasn't gonna get into it. The horses helped a lot, because I had something to do. She smiled a bit.
She wasn't sure what was going on with her. She'd never been nervous around anyone before. She'd been fine with him less than an hour ago, and now suddenly her heart was pounding in her chest. What on earth was wrong with her?! She could feel her hand growing sweaty in his.
The music picked up and she smiled as she twirled around, for a moment forgetting that she was in the presence of a boy she really liked and really wanted to impress and just following the steps of the music as it rolled off the speakers. A smile played over her lips. She let him spin her around and as she came close to him again, her hand resting on his shoulder, she remembered where she was, and who she was with. She smiled broadly at him as her heart skipped another beat, and she wondered if he could hear it pounding in her chest? She hoped not. How lame would that be?!

The more Levi was with her the more he started to like her. The smile that never left his face was still there. Levi looked into her eyes and smiled. He kept dancing and smiled when she did the twirl. His hands adjusted on her hips again. Me too. I thought it was stupid. Levi said mentioning about drinking. He wasnt that type of guy and he didnt care what people thought of him becuase he didnt drink.
He looked at Delany again. You know you like her. Levi said to himself. He smiled and kept dancing. He was enjoyinng it and couldnt wait to see what the future would bring. Levi thought about the prom and that would be fun because they would probably wouldnt be nervous to dance together like most couples will be when they first arrive there. Levi shook his head not wanting to think about prom. He wanted to enjoy the present tense since he was having to much fun right now. He enjoyed being around her.

Delany smiled. Yeah, cause it is she murmured. The music slowed to a slower song, and Delany let Levi choose the steps. She could still feel her hand getting sweaty in his, and she glanced back at the bar. After this song, wanna sit? she asked softly.
She smiled softly, and glanced almost sheepishly at her feet as she moved to the steps. She wasn't sure why she suddenly felt so clammy and nervous. Well, yes, she knew why. It just wasn't like her. She wasn't sure what to do with herself.
She'd barely even met the kid! They'd only known each other for a couple of hours. Could you really feel that strongly about someone you'd just met? She supposed so, because she certainly was...And she couldn't quite decide whether she liked it or not.

Sure. Levi said smiling. He moved his feet in the beat of the song Delany danced along. He finished the song and slowly made his way over to his seat. Delany sat beside him. He took a deep breath. Dancing takes a lot out of ya. He said to himself. He hadnt danced in ages. Basketball didnt even take this much out of him.
He smiled and looked at her. So about going to the beach riding sometime...when do you want to do this? Levi asked her. He wanted to make sure Gold would be good for him on the beach so that he wouldnt have any troubles. Horses were unpridictable so there was probably going to make Gold spook. Levi laughed at the thought. He could see Gold bucking down the beach while Delany and her horse were calmly still walking.
OCC: I'm running out of things here. Do you want me to start a new thread somewhere?

((OOC: Yeah, sounds good to me.))
She smiled as she settled herself next to him. She crossed her legs automatically. It had always been a comfortable position for her. Her eyes trailed to the people dance, then to Levi. She smiled, shrugging a bit. I dunno. I'm easy to please. Whenever you're free she responded with a slight nod. Probably before things get too crazy with tons of homework and stuff, though. She laughed.
She smiled at him, looking into his eyes. She could feel her heart beginning to hammer again, and her gaze drifted to the other people. Smile was still the most noticable thing on her pretty features. It was hard not to notice someone so bubbly and bright and outgoing. And people did notice her, just because she came off as such a happy, carefree person..
