sample post: She's just turned sixteen, and lucky enough for her; her parents love her enough and they've decided to buy her a car for her sixteenth birthday. She's been through the courses of driver's ed, driver with her learner's permit and she reached the amount of hours she needs and she's ready to hit the road now. That saturday morning, like every other she woke up early- almost at the crack of dawn, to get dress and have all her things ready to go to her riding lesson. She spends almost 50 percent of her week at the barn, either riding, doing barn chores or helping her trainer teacher the beginner students. But this morning was different she would be the one to driver herself to the barn. Finally she'd waited for this day for all of eternity, when she was finally able to have the freedom to go out and go where she wanted to, without having the constant survalliance of a parent. She put all of her horse things in the trunk of her car, and hopped into the driver's seat keys in hand. She adjusted her seat, checked her mirrors, fasten her seatbelt and she was set. She pulled the small sized car out of the driveway and headed off down the paved road towards the barn.
The sun was just past rising in her rearview mirror as she set off to spend her day with the horses she loved dearly. She finally had mad her twenty minute trek to the barn, and as she pulled her keys from the ignition as she sat in the barn parking lot, she opend the door of her car and her nostrils were filled with that very familar horsey scent. She loved nothing more than this, when she was at the barn with the horses and her equestrian friends- everything was perfect.

physical appearance: Jackie was born with light brown hair, which over the years has gotten a bit darker, and turned into a beautiful brunette color, which she gets from her mother. Her hair brunette hair falls past shoulder length, to just above the middle of her back. She unlike her three older brothers has gorgeous piercing green eyes, with all of her brothers having brown eyes just like their father. But being the only girl of the four children in the family, she inherited the gorgeous traits of her mother. But just because she’s pretty on the outside doesn’t make her the most confident and self assured person on the inside. Jackie stands at just 5 foot 4 inches tall, making her shorter than some people, a trait that her brothers always made fun of her for, being that they are all over 5 foot 10. But the one advantage to Jackie’s short size is that she can fit some of the smaller horses, but at the same time she can still handle the bigger horses too. Jackie has a very toned body from almost ten years of horseback riding experience.
Jackie has a small freckle under her left eye; her mom always told her that it was something very unique she had. She’s always had small feet too, which goes hand in hand with her small size; she only wears a size 6 at the most. Jackie tops off at an even 107 lbs, she’s doesn’t weigh much since her small height and her active lifestyle with horseback riding. Jackie also as her ears pierced, she usually only wears earrings when she goes out; and they tend to just be small studs- nothing to elaborate. But every once in awhile she does like to dress up and wear pretty, and bold dangly ears.
For the most part Jackie is a very natural girl, she’s always just had her natural pretty brunette, never any dying or highlights for her. She isn’t much of the make- up type girl either, she’s just natural. She doesn’t like the way some girls cake layers of make-up onto their faces, it makes them look so fake. And as far as girls who go to the tanning salon at least once a week, Jackie isn’t a fan of those either. With herself she’d rather let nature takes its course, and if she wants a tan- she’ll get one by just spend hours out riding, she doesn’t have to go to tanning bed and pay tons of money to look like someone that she isn’t.
clothing style: Jackie has never been the type of girls who likes labels, so you can't classify her clothing style as punk, preppy, whatever. Jackie is just jackie, she dresses how she feels, and for whatever type of mood she's in that day. But her normal outfits consist of jeans and a t-shirt, with her riding boots on her feet and half chaps around her calves. But for the most part you'll find Jackie in flip-flops, which are her favorite thing to wear, as long as there's now snow on the ground, that's what Jackie will have on her feet. She also loves the summer months, when the weather isn't cold and she doesn't have to wear a jacket, and she can wear shorts and tank tops when ever she wants to. But jackie's favorite outfit to be in, is that of what she wears to the barn. Just her plain old jeans and t-shirt, with riding boots and chaps. That's where jackie feels most at home.

But with three older brothers, she's gotta be a tough girl, with them fake wrestling, etc; with her all the time. But she loves all of her siblings; they mean the world to her. Jackie has a very hard time trusting other girls, in becoming friends with them. Girls at her old public high during her freshmen year just wanted to be 'friends' with her so they could get through her to her older brothers, since everyone always thought they were so cute.
This more than anything has always annoyed Jackie, but a new start at a new highschool; without her brothers, may be a start to something good for her. Maybe she'll have a chance to make some real friends- before that want to go running after her brothers. As far as relationships boyfriend/girlfriend things with guys, she's had one or two boyfriends, none of it has been very serious; come on she's only a sophomore in highschool, Jackie doesn't expect to find her true love just yet, or will fate bring her someone that she truly can love? And someone will love her for who she is, even with her horse crazy and stubborn attitude.

And her attention is focused towards the horses. No one will ever know this but the horses are the only ones who really see the true soft affectionate side of Jackie. Their first son was Matt, who’s always been a good guy; but quite on the slacking side- he passed through high school w/ average marks of B’s and C’s, so he’s doing to bad but things could be better. A year and a half younger than Matt is Ethan and Mary’s son Michael. He on the other hand is a very hard working student; he is currently in college in pre-vet classes, planning to work alongside of his father at their veterinary clinic. The third child born into the Ellison family was Jacob, who is now 17. He’s still in high school, although he loves his family’s life with horses, it’s not something he wants to stick with in the future. He’s thought about going into some type of law or business career. And last but not least the baby of the family, Mary Ellison wanted nothing more than to have a baby girl of her own. They planned on having only three children but when Mary didn’t have at least one girl to call her own; they thought they try once more for a baby girl. There had been numerous accounts where they’d almost lost Jackie when she learned to walk; because she’d learned where the horses were down in their ten stall barn, and on a few occasions Jackie had walked out to the barn and into the pastures with the horses. This would give any mother a heart attack to have their young child around 1,100 pound animals that could potentially kill the child. But to Mary’s surprise those horses took the best care of her whenever she wandered down there. Mary knew that this little girl wanted to be with the horses, and so when Jackie turned 6 years old; just like with all of her boys she was going to start to teach her how to ride. The boys picked up riding easily but it wasn’t something they were totally passionate about they wanted to try other sports like baseball and football. But not with Jackie, she wanted to be with, around, or riding those horses 24/7.
Jackie always hung out with her brothers, and was pretty much like one of the guys, she was pretty much a tomboy when she was younger. But as they started growing up and she entered middle school and high school, having three older brothers wasn’t always the easiest thing for her. All of the girls wanted to be friends with her, but not because they were horseback riders like her, not because they just wanted to be friends, they wanted to be ‘friends’ with her so they could get to her older brothers, since everyone always seemed to be drooling over them. As Jackie went through this stage in her life- it took a lot for people to gain her trust and she had a hard time making friends with the girls. She preferred hanging with the guys; not because she was a slut or anything like that, just because they were easier to get along with that the girls, not so much cattiness and not so much drama. So as far as it goes with having boyfriends it will take a special guy to win over the heart of Jackie, because not only will he have to win her trust, but he’ll have to gain the trust of her three overprotective brothers, ha.
Now in the start of Jackie’s sophomore year here at Canterbury academy everything will be new to her. Most of her life she’s just gone to public high schools and ridden at home, and been taught by her mother. She’s also been very close with her family her whole life, not going away to a different state for boarding school will be a tough task for Jackie. But both her parents and her brothers know that Jackie is a strong girl and she’ll pull through whatever is thrown in front of her. Now in California Jackie will be faced with a whole new life, of horse boarding school a dream of Jackie’s every since she was very young. Horses 24/7, that was the kind of life Jackie could get used to very easily. But with the California girls and some girls with their caked on make-up and fake fried tan; and the boys who are sometimes too cocky and over confident she’s not so sure how she’ll fit in her at her new high school.
riding expierence: Jackie has been riding since the age of six when her mom first put her up on a horse. Since that day Jackie has always been an avid equestrian and horses are the love of her life. She's been riding for almost 10 years now, and she wouldn't trade her horse life for anything in the world. She has a very special bond with horses, they can always listen to her no matter how bad of a mood she's in. Jackie has been training and showing in Hunter/Jumper shows and on the lower level circuits for quite some time now, she's also been to some local 4-H shows in Arizona before she moved her to CA for school. But ask anyone and they'll tell you that Jackie is one heck of a rider. There isn't a horse she won't get on, she's pretty much a fearless rider; and it's her passion. She works countless hours with the horses perfecting her skills and building a relationship between her and her horses.
