so here she was. a new start. a new first run out of the gate. and how did she spend it? before she did anything here, she went for the park, with her book. her whole life she'd been given these new starts. and she'd fallen on a lot of the runs. she never spent any new starts doing anything other than what she was doing now.
what did it matter? this was all fake anyway. her whole life was fake, save the first three years of it. after the schpeal with her parents, nothing had ever been the way she'd expected that it would be. what if she hadn't been tossed into the system? would she be smarter? would she have talent? where would she be living? she'd never know. the course that her life was supposed to take had been interupted.
and now, the tears. she couldn't think things like this anymore. she missed her mom. surprisingly enough, she missed her dad sometimes too. her mom was gone forever. her father - was in prison. he'd tried to make contact with her, and molli had even been given a chance to go see him once or twice. but she just couldn't go look at the man who had killed her mother.
maybe she'd wanted him to kill her though. she was always told that's the way it went down. that she begged him to kill her. begged him to pull the trigger. and he complied.
a single tear fell to the open page of her book, and immediately she was broken from her thoughts. she hated when she started crying, unaware that she was actually crying. She wiped her eyes dry with her hand and looked down at her book in silence.
she was sitting under a tree, leaning against its trunk. it was uncomfortable, and isolated. extremely reflective of her life style. she gave a deep sigh and picked up on the page where she had left off.

Cassie walked on the campus site in search of something to do. She was brand new here, and knew no one basically. A junior who was anti-social? Hey it was possible. She sighed. She had her hands in her pockets. Sadly she didn't have her IPOD with her today. She was in dire need of listening to heavy music. Her favorite. She entered the park, and it was huge. A huge smile grew on her face. She was looking for someone to talk, too. A new face. She really wish she hadn't needed to move so much. She looked around, and noticed a girl with a book in her lap and tears streaming down her face.
She tilted her cranium to one side. She sighed. It was a sad sight. It use to be her, but she had no one there to comfort her, like she would be doing now. She walked slowly toward the girl, and smiled gently. "Hey," she muttered nicely. She had suffered enough in her life, but she learned that other people came first before her suffering. People could trust a person who suffered the same fate as others. She blinked a couple of times. She sat down in front of the girl. She seemed young. Cassie brushed a strand of behind her ear, and looked at the girl. "Hey it's okay," she muttered. She wasn't sure what was wrong, but she knew that this girl needed so reassurement.
post; complete mood; um... music; Cassie - Flyleaf (ironic xD) comments; hope you don't mind me jumping in. ♥
