Caleb's long legs straddled his bike, pressed against the sides, as he zipped down the street. Horns barked around him, and he threw malicious grins towards the people who hit the horn in the first place. Sure, he was speeding. Sure, he wasn't exactly safe to other drivers. However, he was great on the bike, easily taking hairpin curves and whatnot. Within moments, he'd arrived at the cafe. This wasn't where he wanted to be, in all truth. This was where he'd met JT. Ah, shit. He braked hard and jumped off the bike, eyes dark. His long legs were clad in well-worn jeans, and his upper body was clad in a simple Abercrombie tee.
Running his hand through his short hair, he pushed his way into the cafe and slid into a seat after ordering a ginger ale and an everything bagel with cream cheese. He stretched out his legs, blue eyes nearly black. He was an idiot for rushing into things with Jess. He should have known better. And when she'd told him about her previous... He clenched his fist. He should have gotten out of there, ended it, let her go her way and he go his own. Sighing, he ran a hand over his face. Shit. This was fncked up.

Stomach growling, Kat wandered down the street, searching for a place to get some coffee and junk food. Cafeteria food didn't cut it, and she would much rather chill in a grungy diner or cafe. Taking her iPod out of her pocket, Kat put on her Oceansize CD, blasting the song Music for a Nurse. She walked to the beat, and hummed along to the tune, completely refraining herself from jamming in the middle of the street.
Continuing on her quest for food, Kat kept her eye on the building signs as she passed. Eventually she saw a cafe sing, relieved knowing she could have some good food at last! Walking up to the register, she asked the barista for a double shot mocha latte with skim milk. Next she scoured the dessert case for some grub. She decided on a giant chocolate cupcake with cream- cheese frosting. When the barista finished her drink, the order came out to eight dollars and twenty one cents.
Taking her order off the counter, she looked around for an empty table. All of them were occupied, so she did the next best thing. She searched for a cute guy and found one sitting alone, looking depressed. Going towards the table, she asked "Mind if I sit down?", in a very flirtatious voice.

Caleb stared down at his bagel, pushing it from one side of the plate to the other. His drink was also untouched. He thought about the night before at the beach, and the night before that at the movies, and a few days prior to the picnic. His hands clenched and unclenched as he thought about when they'd met in the stables, how much fun they'd had. A voice pulled his thoughts away from his reverie. He looked up at the girl, offering a small smile. He was, after all, a gentleman. He motioned to the seat, and leaned back a bit in his chair, pushing it back, so that she had more room without his long legs getting in the way. I'm Caleb. I can't say I have the pleasure of knowing your name, though, miss. You must be new around here. I'm sure I would have noticed a pretty girl like yourself walking around. His easy smile flashed across his face. Yeah, so he was flirting. Go ahead and sue him.

Sinking into the chair across from the boy, Kat gave a seductive smile, and lifted her latte to her lips. She listened to his compliments, as obvious as they were, and tried to think of a sexy reply. "Oh yes I am... If I wasn't new than I would have gotten to know you much better by now." She stuck her finger into the whipped cream piled on top of the latte, and sucked it off her tip. She was such a slut sometimes, she almost wanted to laugh at herself.
"I'm Kat. Kat Campbell." She finally told him with a small giggle. She took a bite out of her cupcake, and nearly groaned at its delightfulness. Thank god she found a good place to eat! "So, how long have you been at Canterbury?" Kat asked him intently.
