Ashlynn giggled and flopped onto the bed, laying on her stomach, and kissing him eagerly before he began to get dressed. She watched him, her look one of interest and adoration - she truly loved him, despite the earlier events of the week. She'd pushed the fact her parole officer would be here within a couple days to the back of her mind. She wanted to make the absolute most of this.. while she still could. 'Alright, so are you ready for that surprise?' He spoke, kissing her gently on the forehead and she rolled onto her back, tugging him down to her to kiss him passionately and deeply before releasing him and slipping out of the bed, practically bouncing in glee.
"Always, love." She couldn't help but feel extremely curious as to what the surprise was.

 Jake smiled at her, she was so beautiful- he loved Ashlynn with all he had; and no matter how she looked, weather it was all dressed up or when she had just woken up, she was always beautiful in Jake's eyes. He kissed her once more- before pulling himself out of her bed and stood up beside her; he wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his hands on the small of her back he kissed her gently once more before taking her hand and leading her from her bedroom. There was a large blanket laying on the back of Ashlynn's and her roommates couch, he swiftly grabbed the blanket- and said-Hope you don't mind but were borrowing this. He held th blanket in one arm, and held Ashlynn's hand in his other.
They left Ashlynn's dorm, and Jake closed the door behind them- and lead her down the hallway. He glanced at her from the corner of his eye and smiled to himself- everything was perfect in his mind everytime he was with Ashlynn. He swiftly then leaned over, all while they both kept walking down the hallway, but he kissed Ashlynn's cheek gently and smiled at her, before straightening up once more. The sun was just beginning to rise, and the middle of campus park had the best view on the sunrise in the morning. As Jake often ran early in the day, he'd often been able to catch sight of this beautiful awakening on the town. He truly hoped that Ashlynn didn't mind him waking her up, literally at the crack of dawn, just to see this.
Jake walked hand in hand with Ashlynn out to the middle of the park, where he laid the blanket down- the grass was still wet and slippery covered in the morning dew, that's why he'd thought to bring along the blanket. Jake sat down on the blanket- smiling he pulled Ashlynn down with him so that she was sitting in his lap. He pressed his lips to hers as soon as she was close to him again. He then picked up the edges of the blanket and wrapped them around Ash and him- being that the morning air was still chilly. He saw the small silver necklace that rested along Ashlynn's neck- the necklace he'd given her in the shape of a heart last night. It looks beautiful on you, Jake told her, as he took the pendant of the necklace in his hand, before settling it against her skin again. He leaned down and kissed her softly on the neck trailing to her jaw and back to her lips, before smiling at her.

She gigled as he leaned down and kissed her cheek, flushing with scarlet in joy as she glanced at him, twisting her lips into a grin. She actually hadn't minded getting up early - for once. Hehe, consider it a miracle. As he laid the blanket down on the grass, Ashlynn watched him curiously, her head canted to the side and a grin on her lips. He soon enough tugged her down into his lap and she cuddled against his chest, eagerly kissing him in return. Her eyes gleamed joyfully as he spoke, flushing as she glanced away momentarily. Once he kissed along her neck before reaching back to her lips - she leaned forward, pressing her forehead against his own, staring at him intently.
"Jake- I really should tell you the things I haven't."
She murmured softly, wincing to herself as she pulled away, leaning back against his chest and glancing up to the sky - where the sun was slowly rising. "I .. have done drugs before," She paused, sighing as her shoulders slumped and she glanced off into the distance. "And obviously, I've relapsed the .. other day, and now, it's only a matter of time before my .. uh, parole officer hears about it and I get into a lot of trouble." Unintentionally, she reached for his hand and squeezed it tightly.

The couple sat peacefully in the middle of the wide, open grassy area of the campus park- where they had a clear view of the beautiful yellow and orange sun awakening the town. He shifted his eyes to Ashlynn as she spoke that she needed to tell Jake some things that she'd been holding back. He kept his eyes locked on hers, he prepared himself for the worst, and couldn't possible imagine what Ashlynn needed to tell him. As Ashlynn told him that she'd done drugs before, his eyes widen just slightly in a bit of shock, he didn't think things were that bad, but he just held her there in his lap, and let her finish telling him what she had to say. The only thing that really went off in Jake's head, was putting two and two together. He finally got what she was talking about last night- when she said she might, or would have to go away. It was because of her parole officer and her getting in trouble. That was the biggest concern of Jakes- he didn't want to leave Ash, he was so in love with her- he'd be torn apart if she left.
He slowly lifted his hand and gently brushed a few wisps of Ashlynn's hair from her face. He peered down into her blue eyes, he honestly wasn't able to put words together for a few moments- as he let it sink in. He knew drugs were horrible for you- but just at that; Jake knew drinking was bad for you too, and he did it and he was underage too. Jake locked his fingers with Ashlynn's when she reached for his hand, he slowly rubbed his thumb in circles on her hand, as there fingers were intertwined. Ashlynn- I know you probably don't want to here this; and you've probably heard it a million times before, but I'm going to say it anyways. Drugs are really bad for you, and you should really try and stop. He kept his eyes on her- he didn't even know what type of response he would get from her. He kept his forehead pressed against hers, and just held her there before speaking again. Ash- either way if you do drugs or not, my feelings for you will never change, I love you, he said gently, before leaning in a little more and kissed her softly on the lips. And baby, if you ever need someone to talk to you, or help you get through something- you know I will always be here. He told her- he wanted to help her quit, stay away form drugs, what ever you'd call it. He'd do anything he could to help her out. He then kissed her forehead very lightly, before peering into her blue eyes again- Ash- I just never want to lose you.

To Ash, this was the hardest part. Not telling him, but waiting for a reaction. She held back a groan as he began to give her the same things she'd heard from every therapist and counselor she'd ever been to. But he knew he meant well, as they all had. But saying "I'll stop" and stopping were worlds apart. It was just so hard. She closed her eyes, ducking her head away from his forehead and placing it on his chest, letting her own chest rise and fall with each breath. "I love you more," She murmured, tilting her head back to peer up at him, receiving the kiss and giving him a grin. "Yeah, I know." 'Ash I just never want to lose you.' At that, the pretty teen had to bite back tears. Instead, she curled up in his lap - looking similar to a frightened child. For the first time in a long time, she was scared. Of losing Jake. Of messing everything up.
"Shh, it's alright baby boy. I promise you won't. I'll do community service if I have to again to stay. I don't want to leave you," She whimpered and kept her grip on his hand tight, without quite realizing it. It was strange, really, but in a good way - how she hadn't even known he existed a few months ago and now, frankly, she couldn't live without him.

Jake kept his arms wrapped around Ashlynn, he held her closely and didn't ever want to let her go. As she curled herself up against his chest he gently kissed the top of her head. As Ash stayed curled up in Jake's lap- she looked small and vulnerable- he wanted to help in any way he could, to help her get through this. When Ashlynn spoke her next words, that she loved Jake more- he couldn't help but smile. But it seemed like she was holding back tears or something. Jake looked down at her and brought his other hand to her chin and tilted her head up to his. He leaned down and softly kissed her lips. He then brought her hand up to his lips and kissed her fingers, as the two of their hands were interlocked.
Can I ask you something? Jake asked her- it had to do with the other night at the beach, although he dreaded talking about that night because he'd been such an asshole but there was something tugging on him on the inside- that he really wanted to know. Because just a little while ago when Ashlynn told him that she'd relapsed and she'd done drugs recently- he wanted to know if it was at the beach party- because that night she was so different from her usual self, but it had really scared Jake- when he hadn't known what was wrong with her, he was truly scared. He took a long breath before he began to ask Ashlynn what he needed to ask her. Earlier when you said you'd relapsed the other day, was that at the party? He looked into her eyes, as he questioned her; he couldn't control Ashlynn actions- but he hoped he could help her make the right decissions. The other night.. when I held you in my arms, as you were still furious at me- I could feel you trembling and shaking; even though I was really drunk then- honestly I was scared, Ash. he said to her as he stroke her hair for a moment, before kissing her forehead. The other night when you were like that- I was so worried about you; and when you pushed me away and left; I had no idea if you were okay or not. Ashlynn I just don't want you to get hurt. He told her; his voice was soft as he spoke to her, not trying to get her mad or anything at all like that. His arms still kept their tight supportive grip around Ashlynn as he held her in his lap, and kissed her on the cheek once more.
He couldn't stop Ash from doing drugs, but he really hoped that he could maybe help her make some better choices, and maybe if she knew that someone was there who trul loved her, that would help make things better. Jake held his left arm around Ashlynn holding her tight- and keeping the blanket around her; as the morning air was still chilly. He kept his fingers locked with her as she began to speak again. As she said that she would do community service again, if it meant that she would be able to stay; Jake smiled on the inside. It felt good to know that she really truly didn't want to leave Jake. He had no idea what he would do if he and Ashlynn were seperated- he wouldn't know what to do with himself, he loved this girl more than anything in the world.
