A few days had passed since the whole party incident, and Jake still felt like a complete jerk and an asshole, for everything that he'd done to Ashlynn. He just had to find a way to make in up to her, even if he had to get down and beg on his hands and knees- he'd do it. Ashlynn meant the world to him, and all because he'd gotten drunk that one night; he'd made a terrible mistake. But in the past few days, he'd just stayed in his own dorm; thinking over what the hell he'd done, and he'd found the perfect way that he thought he could make it up and apologize to her. He woke up early that morning and showered and got dressed, he left his hair down and ungelled today. He'd bought Ashlynn a present and had it wrapped in a small present when he'd purchased it a day or so ago at the mall, after the whole drama scene went down at the beach.
He headed outside to the boys dorm parking lot, and quickly unlocked his black ford escape, and hopped inside he set the small box on the seat, and the envelope with along apology note inside- he set that on the seat also. He drove across campus and headed to the girl's dormitory. He parked his black car at the curb, grabbed the note and the small box, and headed inside and down the hallway to Ashlynn's dorm. He had no idea if Ashlynn would be there or not, he prayed that she would be there though, he desperetly needed her to read this letter.
He walked slowly up to her door, and knocked he didn't get an answer right away- he stood there for awhile. He took a deep breath, he almost felt as if he was shaking- he was nervous. He didn't want Ashlynn to just slam the door in his face or anything like that. The letter read:
Ashlynn-
you have no idea how sorry i am- i was such a jerk, jackass, everything in the book the other night at the beach. i had so much to drink, i couldn't even think straight, and dancing with that other girl was the worst mistake of my life. you have no idea how hard these last few days have been without you, not being able to hug you, or kiss you or even just see you. it's been the hardest couple days i've ever been through. ashlynn you mean more to me then anything else in this world, i just wanted to let you know that i love you. and i am so, so so so so sorry for everything that happen, and i really truly hope that you can forgive.
love you forever, and for always.

Ashlynn had been miserable since the party, she'd broken parole and somebody had reported it to the police. It was only a matter of time before her parole officer got wind of this and she would be heading to a juvenile detention center. Until she was eighteen, then who knew what would happen. But she had been sitting in the dark in her dorm for the longest time, the things Jake had given her - the notes, the roses, everything had been thrown to one side of the room and she refused to let her eyes wander there. If they so much as grazed any of it, she'd be reduced to tears once more. Her knuckles were sore where she'd punched that stupid slut and she had shards of glass in her palm from the beer bottle until she'd removed them early this morning. You had to almost feel bad for her roommate, she always locked the girl out - hopefully, she had somewhere to be. Then there was a knock at the door.
Her make-up had been streaked from her tears earlier so she'd just taken a shower and gotten rid of it all completely. Irrationally, her heart lept. What if it was Jake? She scolded herself mentally immediately after feeling hopeful at the aspect. She had refused to answer any of his calls, infact, her phone lay on her bed with the battery taken out. Ash slowly rose, almost mechanically as she strode over to the door, unlocked, and pulled it open. Speak of the devil, huh? Her eyes were flat, refusing to let them gleam like they wanted to. Her heart, as shattered as it was, wanted to leap at the sight of him but she held it cruelly in chains, fixing a stoic expression on her face. "What do you want?" Her voice held a monotone and she glanced down to his hands and plucked the envelope from his hand without another word, or a moment of hesitation.
She tore it open slowly, removing the letter and tossing the envelope behind her carelessly. Unfolding it, her eyes skimmed over his messy scrawl. Her blank expression erupted almost immediately with emotions, and she cringed. She slipped the note into the pocket of her shorts and ran her hand through her hair, frowning at him. "You love me?" She murmured softly. Ashlynn couldn't help but remember the blurred events of what had happened after she saw Jake dancing with the girl. She was vaguely aware of the fact she'd attacked the girl, but she had thought she'd imagined what she had said to Jake and heard in return. Biting into her lower lip, she chewed on her lip ring, whether it was out of frustration or nervous-ness, who knew.

Jake stood outside her door- he figured that she either wasn't there or that she just wasn't answering- because she possibly knew it was Jake, and she didn't want to talk to him. He was about ready to just slip the envelope and small box under the door, when he heard the click of the door knob being unlocked. He straightened himself up, and he swore that his hands were shaking as he held the note and the small black box in his hand. As she opened the door, she looked quite pissed- but there was something deep in her eyes that he could tell that just maybe, she wanted to forgive him. A tiny smile tugged at the corner of his mouth seeing Ashlynn, he didn't care how she looked without making or with make-up running down her face; no matter what- she was beautiful. When Ashlynn asked what he was doing here, she sounded kind of angry; but he replied slowly with, I just wanted to give these to you, but before he could actually give either of them to her, she stole the envelope from his hand, and scanned over the scrawled out message that he'd written her.
His eyes watched hers carefully as she read the note, and when she looked up at, when she spoke the words; you love me? Jake looked at her with a hopeful expression on his face. Jake took a deep breath before he began to speak, Ashlynn- I love you more than anything in this world, and the other night was one of the worst choices I've ever made. He told her truthfully, he meant every word that he spoke. Before she could say anymore- he got down on one knee holding the small box that he had in his hands, he held in out to her. Okay- before we continue this is not what your probably thinking, no Jake is not about to propose to her. He is just trying to be cuter, and apologizing to her. So- he got down on one knee and opened the box, to reveal a silver necklace it had a heart pendant at the bottom with another small heart cut out, and where the chain slipped through so it could be held onto the necklace. The necklace its self was a thin silver chain. He'd bought it just the day before, and he bought it as a way to apologize to Ashlynn. He stood there, down on one knee and spoke softly to Ashlynn- This is for you, you have no idea how sorry I am for what happened the other night, and I really, really hope that you could maybe forgive me? Ash- I promise nothing will happen like that ever again. I can't stand being away from you for this long, you mean sooo much to me. Jake kneeled there and just looked up at her hopefully, and waited for her reaction.

She glanced away as he spoke, staring down the empty hallway - her breath caught in her throat, seized in the moments that were between his words. Then, glancing back, she had to smile at what he did. She laughed softly, but it was hesitant, afraid that at any moment, somehow, the moment would be ruined. She bit her lower lip and looked at him. She didn't want to tell him the reality of things. That it was extremely likely she'd be going away and she'd never see him again. She took the box from him gently, and silently removing the necklace and put it around her neck and set the box on the stand next to the door. Biting her lip gently, she ran her tongue over her lip-ring and smiled at him thoughtfully.
"I'll forgive you on one condition,"
She whispered softly, swallowing noisily before grabbing the front of his shirt to tug him upwards and past her doorway. Once he was inside, she'd close her door and crash her lips against his own, pushing him gently against the door. Her kisses started out soft and became more aggressive.
"You stay the night,"
Ashlynn practically whimpered. The implications in her voice were blatantly obvious but she desperately wanted this, wanted him. She didn't want to say good-bye with words. She looked at him, whimpering softly, her eyes pleading. Then she leaned forward to crash her mouth aggressively against his own.

When Ashlynn accepted the present, the necklace that he'd bought for her, he smiled; then his smile grew even wider when he heard Ashlynn's soft laugh. The little things like those were what Jake missed the most about Ashlynn, these past couple days when Jake had been away from Ashlynn had truly been some of the worst days of his life, he'd missed her so much. When she said that she would forgive him on one condition, his eyes gleamed- he must've looked like a little kid who'd just found his lost puppy. Anything, he said softly to her, he truly would do anything for Ash to forgive him, he was so utterly sorry for what he'd done, he couldn't even stand it. When Ashlynn grabbed the front of Jake's shirt and pulled him inside her dorm- he cocked an eyebrow curious as to what she was doing. When Ashlynn then pushed him against the door and began to kiss him, he couldn't help but wrap his arms around her waist and pull her up to him, and picking her up off the ground, so that her legs were wrapped around his waist. He returned her kisses eagerly, and kissed her deeply and passionately. When she told him that the condition was that he had to stay the night, he broke the kisses for just a moment to smile at her- Absolutely.
He then moved his lips back to hers, kissing her passionately- giving her some soft kisses and some rough eager kisses in between. He held Ashlynn up with one arm while he held his other hand on her face, his fingers brushing over her cheek and caressesing the back of her head. He finally moved his hand away holding her up with both arms now as he continued to kiss her- and he carried her to her room in the dorm closing it behind then just in case her room mate for some reason came home anytime soon. He walked her to her bed and laid her down- he held all his weight above her, and kissed her eagerly again. Then moved his lips away from hers and kissed along her jawline, down her neck and over her collarbone, then back up again. He smiled down at her and kissed her again, he used his right hand to brush a few small strands of hair away from her face. Jake wasn't sure what she had planned for them tonight, he didn't know if by staying the night she meant going all the way with him or what. It was so difficult to read girls sometimes. But he couldn't go that far with Ash at least not tonight. He loved her with all his heart; but he just wasn't ready quite yet- especially from all the events the couple had been through in the last week.
Besides he was perfectly content just staying the night with Ashlynn, and kissing her, holding her, and just being able to be with her all night, and in the morning he had a small surprise planned for her, being that she didn't kick him out in the middle of the night or something, ha. He kissed along her jawline and back to her lips before pulling away just slightly- his lips hovering; he spoke softly at almost a whisper, You have no idea how much I missed you Ash, He said to her, meaing every word. He leand down and gave her another long and passionate kiss.

The second Jake pulled her up to him, she eagerly wrapped her slender legs around his waist to help keep her body up, her mouth rarely leaving his own. Then he took her to her room and laid her down on the bed and she quickly slipped her arms around his neck, tugging his body closer against her own - her mouth working steadily against his own. Truthfully, she was scared to death because she knew exactly what she wanted, but what would happen if Jake didn't? That'd be one hell of a awkward moment. Comical, but still. As he trailed kisses down her neck and on her collarbone, she whimpered softly, shivering underneath him. Her electric blue eyes peered up at him, and she gave him a coy grin. Ash's voice was soft as she whispered, "You know, I could never live without you.."
She knew she wouldn't be able to stay at Canterbury Academy long, and this was likely the last time she'd ever see Jake. But the fact that she loved him and he loved her in return felt both horrible and amazing, all at the same time - she didn't want to lose him. But she loved him, and maybe her not-so-innocent plans were caused by the overwhelming sense of love she suddenly felt and the need to be with him. As he spoke, she sucked in a slow breath, exhaling and looking up at him. "Why don't you show me?"
With that Ashlynn let one hand trail down his shirt, tugging at it as if she wanted it off. Truly, she hadn't done this before - ever, infact. Sure, Addison had been bossy and controlling and it may have gotten her beaten quite a few times but she'd refused to go far with him. No where near as far as she wanted to go with Jake and was now hinting at, rather blatantly by cuddling her body against his own.

Jake continued to kiss Ashlynn, some long passionate kisses, soft kisses and everything in between. His right hand caressed her head, his fingers gently tangled within in her hair. His left hand trailed down the side of her body along her torso, and then letting his fingers trail back up, slightly pulling her shirt up just a little bit. He wasn't going to push Ashlynn into anything she wasn't comfortable doing, he wasn't even sure if he could go all the way with her tonight. He didn't even know if those were what Ash's intentions were, it was so hard to read girls sometimes, Jake would be a bit playful- but he wouldn't move into any dangerous waters without knowing from Ashlynn if things were alright. He slowly moved his fingers, very gently on her skin under her shirt, probably giving her the chills. He let his hand rest at her waist holding her there, as he then kissed her again, softly then slowly giving her longer more passionate kisses. He then let his hand trail back up over her shirt and he support himself over her body with that arm as he kept kissing her. He moved his lips away from hers for a moment, and trailed kisses on her neck, and stopped at her ear and very softly whispered, Ash- I love you more than anything else in this world. At that he hovered his lips above her and smiled, then leaning down to kiss her. Jake could be playful with Ashlynn, but still not take things to far, Jake wasn't a virgin, but he'd only had sex once, it was once with his girlfriend last year before coming off to Canterbury, they were goofing off and things got a little to far out of hand, it hadn't meant much to Jake because he wasn't in love with his last girlfriend. But he wanted Jake and Ashlynn's first time to be special, and he didn't think that right after a huge fight like they had was the best time.
Jake kissed Ashlynn, when her blue eyes peered into his- he couldn't help but smile at how beautiful she was. His eyes gleamed with nothing but affection and tenderness towards Ashlynn, he loved this girl with all his heart. But there seemed like there was something distance in Ash's eyes- he didn't know if she was okay or not, he moved his weight to the side so that his body was no longer above Ashlynn's he laid right next to her, so he was on his side facing her, he propped himself up on his right elbow, and carresed Ashlynn's face and leaned in and kissed her softly. He then brushed a few strands off hair from her face, before asking ashlynn love, are you okay? its seems like somethings wrong? But then again jake could be completely wrong on his part for thinking that when everything could just possibly be okay, he kissed her again his arm then laid over her and held her close to him. He really hoped that Ashlynn knew she could tell Jake anything, he would always be her to listen to her when she needed it.

His fingers grazing her flesh indeed gave her chills and as he spoke in her ear, she whimpered softly. Peering up at him, she caught his smile and returned it with one of her own. Her own hand ran over his smooth stomach before she wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him down his jawline and the hollow of his throat. She had no idea that Jake wasn't willing to go the extra mile tonight, so to speak and she couldn't hide her grunt of disappointment when he moved off her. She returned his kiss, but now she did seem distant, more so than before. She rolled onto her side, her back facing him but she didn't wriggle out of his grip.
"God I'm stupid," She murmured softly, squeezing her eyes shut tightly - not realizing she'd spoken the words aloud. She lifted a hand, spreading her fingers and running her hand through her disarrayed hair. She curled up, her back still pressed and snuggled against Jake's chest as she curled up, her knees pressed to her chest and her arms slipping around them. Ash heard his question and was tempted to turn back to him again but she felt too embarrassed to do so, so she just set her head on her pillow and stared at the wall blankly.
"I'm going away," Ashlynn muttered softly, her body becoming somewhat tense as she spoke. Then, she suddenly turned around - eager to change the subject. Though it was fairly dark, they were in close enough proximity to see one another's face, and she frowned. "Why won't you sleep with me?" She muttered blatantly, staring at him briefly before she closed her eyes, sighing. In a way, she felt as if she had been rejected.

Jake almost felt bad now, when Ashlynn sighed as he moved off of her, she seemed disappointed that Jake wasn't going to go all the way with her right now. When Ashlynn turned away from him, but still kept her back pressed up against him- Jake felt like the stupid one now, he'd disappointed her; and he just felt like he'd been doing everything wrong these days, he couldn't get anything right. As Ashlynn lay facing away from him he moved a little closer to her, and wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her close to him, and he gently rested his chin on her shoulder. When Ashlynn said that she was stupid, Jake pressed his lips on her neck and kissed her gently, Ashlynn- you are not stupid. He said to her, and it was true she wasn't if anything he was the stupid one in this situation, a beautiful girl like Ashlynn was putting herself out there for Jake, and he was turning her down, it's not that he didn't want to sleep with her, god he wanted to. But he just felt like this wasn't the best time for things to happen. He held Ashlynn close to him, his breath coming in soft even breaths; as he laid close to her.
When Ashlynn answered his question of what was wrong, and she responded with 'i'm going away'
[/b] it hit Jake like a brick in the face, he was completely stunned. He gently rolled her over to face him- Ashlynn what in the world are you talking about? Why would she be leaving CA? If it was because of Jake or anything to do with him, he would be so utterly sorry for anything he'd done wrong- he truly hoped she wasn't leaving because of the whole beach thing that went down. When Ashlynn changed the subject, and asked him why he wouldn't sleep with her, he did- and he didn't. He sighed for a brief moment, and kept his arms wrapped securley around her, he kissed her forehead gently before opening his eyes and peering in the her own blue owns, which were dazzling and beautiful. Ash, his words were softly and gentle as he then lifted a hand and ran it across her jawline, bringing his lips to hers and kissing her long and deep. He pulled away just slightly, and returned his had to hold her close to him. It's not that I don't what to sleep with you love, it's just... he looked away for a moment trying to put the right words together without hurting her or saying something wrong. I don't think this is the best time for us to do this; after what i put you through a few days ago, he said quietly to her. Jake didn't even know now- the tension was different between them right now. If Ashlynn was leaving, truly leaving then he might just take her up on the offer, so to speak. If it really meant alot to her- then yes Jake would sleep with her tonight. He just wanted to know that Ashlynn was totally comfortable with this, he wasn't pushing her into anything she didn't want to do- but she seemed like she really wanted this, and he loved this girl with all his heart. As Ashlynn laid in his arms facing him, he trailed his hand down her stomach and to the hem of her shirt letting his hand trail gently under her shirt, not going to far- but he let it to ashlynn to show her a sign he was okay to do this, but if she changed her mind Jake would stop, the whole night was up to Ashlynn, Jake loved her and wasn't going to push her to far. The kiss on her neck forced a smile on her lips, she couldn't help it - the smallest things about Jake and the things he did made her incredibly happy. She shivered and sighed softly as he spoke. Once she mentioned she had to leave, he rolled her over to face him and her eyes threatened to flood with tears but she fought them off, giving him a slow smile. "Baby, just please.. don't mention it. Just for tonight, let's pretend nothing bad ever happened." She murmured softly, and leaned forward, kissing him eagerly. Then, he spoke, staring in her eyes and she watched, unable to hold his gaze for too long without looking away. Once he had finished speaking, she looked back at him and gave him a timid grin.
"Love, don't tell me you want it to be perfect because it already is - as long as you're here, it's already perfect," She murmured softly, and Ashlynn leaned forward, letting her mouth crash against his own passionately. Then, to her surprise, his hand began to trail down her stomach to the hem of her shirt. She shivered and broke the kiss, flashing him a reassuring smile before snuggling her body firmly against his own and wrapping her arms around his neck, tugging his face closer to her own.

Jake held his arms wrapped around Ashlynn, kissing her passionately and letting his kisses trail down her neck- and on her collarbone. His other hand trailed over her stomach and slowly removed her shirt, he knew Ash was fine with what was happening, he kissed down her neck to her collarbone again and back up and from there he just let things slide.

When Jake awoke the next morning there was a very tiny dim light peaking under ashlynn's curtains, his arms were tangled around her, his hair all messy, but last night felt like a dream. Everything with Ashlynn was perfect; he kept his arms wrapped around her and softly kissed her bare shoulder, as her back was pressd against him. He held her close as they lay under the covers. He felt Ashlynn stir softly next to him, and he whispered softly Good morning, beautiful. He kissed her neck, and just below her ear, last night had been perfect despite the thoughts Jake had before hand, everything had turned out to be just the way Jake had wanted it to be. He lay silently against Ashlynn, his head on the pillow next to hers, he waited while she slowly woke up. He had a very cute idea planned for Ashlynn, but of course he wait till she'd waken up before letting her know.

Last night had been Ashlynn's first time - and the first Jake and Ashlynn had done together, obviously. But it had been perfect in her opinion. A kiss on her shoulder as light as butterfly stirred her awake, and she shifted. She opened her eyes, giving a sleepy smile as he spoke and kissed her neck. With a wide grin still on her face, she rolled over and looked at him.
"I love you, Teddy Bear."
Ash whispered breathlessly, pressing her mouth against his own. She slid her arms around his waist and giggled, snuggling her body comfortably against his own. She giggled, feeling giddy. Though she had to wonder, did this make anything awkward, with what they'd done last night? She still felt the same for him, if not adored him just all the more. No, not just because he slept with her but because they loved one another. She squeezed his shoulder playfully, nipping at the flesh of his neck, grinning against the flesh. "I never want to lose you." She whimpered softly, closing her eyes with a soft sigh.

Jake's arms stayed securely wrapped around Ashlynn's body as she lay beside him, everything was perfect between them, and he was so glad that they were able to move past what had happened at the beach a few nights ago. As Ashlynn stirred and was awake, she rolled over in his arms to face him. A bright smile lit Jake's face when he saw how beautiful Ashlynn looked, no matter what she looked like; make-up or no make-up she was always beautiful in Jake's eyes. When Ashlynn softly said 'I love you, Teddy Bear.' Jake couldn't help but smile at her, he leaned forward and kissed her forehead, then spoke and said, I love you too, Ash. He did love her, with all his heart; and he never wanted the two to be apart again. Last night really meant alot to Jake- and he felt like it had really brought the two closer together, and really showed they both loved eachother dearly.
That's why what she'd told him last night was burning inside him, he had no idea what she meant when she told him that she was going away. He couldn't possibly imagine why she would leave canterbury. Jake pressed his lips to hers, and gave her a long deep kiss. When she nipped at his neck as they lay there, he grinned at her,Oh, so that's how were going to play this game, huh? He said with a teasing tone in his voice, he quickly unwrapped his arms from her and moved so that he was holding his weight above her; as he then pinned her arms above her head, grinning down at her he brought his lips to hers and gave her plenty of kisses. Then he pulled it together, and laid at her side again and kissed her gently before saying Ashlynn, I never want to lose you either.
He propped himself up on his elbow, so that he could slightly look down at Ash, So- I have a surprise for you, There was a silly grin on his face, and he knew that they needed to move quickly otherwise they would miss the surprise. Would you mind if we got up now, theres something I really want to show you. He said with a smile, You can wear your pajamas if you want, or get dressed, either way you look adorable, he said with a silly grin plastered on his face.

Well, one other good thing about having slept with him last night was the fact they wouldn't end up being cliche and losing it on prom night. Because in her opinion, that was just retarded. She gave a soft whimper into the kiss, then rose an eyebrow as he began to speak to her with a grin. Oh, so that's how we're going to play this game, huh? Before she could give so much as a cry of surprise, he shifted ontop of her, his weight hovered above her. He pinned her slender arms above her head and she whimpered, wriggling a bit before pouting up at him. "Bearrrr." She exclaimed softly, her lip trembling in a feigned baby-like pout. Then his mouth crashed against hers and she was soon lost in the moment. Then he released her and shifted at her side once more. Giggling softly, she snuggled against her.
He propped himself up on an elbow and spoke once more 'So-I have a surprise for you.' At that, she lifted an eyebrow out of curiosity and gave him a flirty smile before leaning forward, nipping his body lip and tugging it gently. She hadn't noticed until he mentioned her getting dressed that she was still rather.. completely naked. Flushing, she giggled nervously and glanced at him. "Aw, and here I was, planning to become a nudist." She murmured playfully and leaned forward, showering him with soft kisses before she wriggled out of the bed. Uncaring to the fact she was unclothed, she bounced happily over to her dresser and got dressed, before retrieving something dark from the top drawer. Giggling, she turned on her heel to face him with a wide smile.
"Smile, baby boy." She murmured, and a few seconds later rose her camera and snapped a picture of Jake. Grinning, she held onto her camera and reached Jake once more, leaning down to kiss him. Jake smiled at Ashlynn as she got up to get dressed, he couldn't help but laugh at her comment on planning to be a nudist. Well I wouldn't object to that, He said to her, his tone was a playful joking one. He pulled Ashlynn back over to him, and kissed her gently on the lips. After ashlynn got dressed, and told Jake to smile- he was confused for a second there, and wasn't sure what she was doing- until the bright white light of the flash light the room, as she snapped Jake's picture. My eyes! Jake exclaimed, as he pulled the pillow over his eyes, that now flashed dots of light whenever he blinked. He then hid under the pillow and blankets from Ashlynn. He peeked out from under the pillow, a silly grin pressed over Jake's lips. He finally got up and pulled on his clothes that were laying in a pile next to the bed, when Ashlynn came back over after he'd taken a picture of Jake- he smiled and pulled her back down on her bed with him, smiling then giving her a multitude of kisses.
'We need to take a picture later, together.' Jake smiled down at her, it was true they did need to take some pictures together.Absolutely baby, he said with a smile, then thought of Prom this weekend, and knowing that the couple would probably take lots of pictures together there too.
Alright, so are you ready for that surprise? He asked her, as he leaned down slightly and kissed her forehead. He knew that colors were difficult for Ashlynn- and knew that things would always be that way. But he knew this little surprise that he had planned for Ashlynn would be cute, and just be special and peaceful. There were some things that he needed to talk to Ash about, so he hoped that he could talk to her when they went out to Jake's little surprise planned for her.
