Okay so you migth have heard it on the news if you live near Andrew, Alberta. Its somewhere near Edmonton. So the SPCA took 100 horses off a farm about 3 weeks ago. They had found 30 dead ones along with a whole lot of dead cats and dogs and birds and goats. When they got the 100 horses off of the farm they had to put 3 down.
My stable Keno Hills Stable and Tack Shop took them all in. For the farrier to come just once it was $3000 dollars. They need money and help. Of course unless you live near Edmonton you won't be able to come out and volunteer. I talked to the stable owner because i ride there and she siad they'd need around half a million dollars to take care of all these horses. They have pregnant mare and stallions and geldings and un-pregnant mares and yearlings and weanlings. I believe all of them are Arabians because thats what the abuser bred.

Today i spent about 1 -2 hours brushing one of the stallions. When they get to know people they will be great horses.
