An aged black truck rolls down the driveway. The sound of tires crunching on the gravel is drown out by the rumbling diesel engine under the hood. Pulling up in front of the barn the engine is cut and the deep rumble ceases. There is a moment of stillness, promptly broken by a horse whinnying a greeting from inside. The driverside door opens and from the cab emerges a young female. Appearing to be just barely in her twenties, she is dressed in a clean black polo shirt which has been tucked into her purposefully faded jeans. Her brown hair is pulled up into a neat ponytail and a large pair of aviator-style sunglasses rest on her head. The heels of her paddock boots click on the cool cement as she walks down the aisleway of the barn searching for the familiar face of her horse. Just as she passes the tack room, the head and neck of a coppery chestnut mare emerge from the darkness of her stall. Janey! There you are, hun! She smiles widely at the mare and rubs her unclipped ears blissfully. It had been far too long since they had been together, but that would soon change.
