Jasper brought the pale blue cup up to his lips, sipping the hot coffee that rest inside from a straw. The ice cubes clinging against the plastic as he sipped the drink down, without a care of it running out. He enjoyed coming to this coffee place specifically because of the nice diner tables, a place to stop and read when he was tired of the silent libraries.
Today wasn't a busy day in this little homey coffee place, though their was some people coming in with a coffee craze, most everyone seemed to get it to go, so he didn't have much interruptions. Not that no interruptions were a good thing, because sometimes the people coming in were more entertaining then the book he was reading.
Nonetheless, Jasper sat, flipping the page in his book until he was interrupted by someone bumping into his table. Causing his drink to come inches close to tipping over but he managed to catch it. Raising an eyebrow, he turned to see who it was, expecting an apology as he set his book, face down. If the person didn't say sorry, he wouldn't think twice of it, but Jasper always had an expectation that everyone in the world was kind and courteous.
ooc- sorry, it sucks. And once you post I'll change the name. haha. =P

Kailee rushed threw the cafe. Her head kept filling with memories, but she didn't know why. Kailee's brown hair was held back with her infamous white satin headband. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going, but a specialty of hers was being able to avoid people without looking. Kailee didn't know why she could do this, she just could. But suddenly her head filled with another painful memory and she stubbled. Kailee stubbled right into a table. Damn it. She said quietly as her hip hit the table. That's going to bruise. Kailee looked over to see a cute guy sitting at the table, his cup almost falling. Oh my god! Only me! Kailee said her face turning red in embarrassment . Nice save. I'm sorry.

Jasper gasped lightly towards her cursing. It was always common in today's society to hear a lady curse but Jasper remained to be shocked each time he heard it. He couldn't help but let his facial expression change into sympathetic as she said something about a bruise because her hip had bumped against the table. She seemed to be rushed, and worried about something but Jasper wasn't the type to interfere with other people's business, unless he was eavesdropping on a conversation.
Jasper let out a soft chuckle, while nodding his head, still clutching to his almost empty cup for dear life. "Oh, no worries."he said, with a bright teethy smile. "Bad day?"he asked curiously with the raise of an eyebrow. He only asked because it seemed as though she had been having one. Just by her hurriedness and curses, maybe that was her everyday language, but he wasn't going to jump to far into conclusions.

As the guy smiled at her, she started to calm down. Why do these things only happen to me? Kailee asked herself. She had a tendency to trip over her own feet or the invisible rock. Yeah, kind of. Kailee replied when he asked her if she was having a bad day. Kailee regained her composure and grinned down at the guy. She reached up and fixed her head band, thinking. The boy looked to be around her age or a year younger. She held out her hand. By the way, I'm Kailee. And you are?

Jasper felt kind of awkward with him sitting and her standing, so he stood from his chair. His long legs extending to the ground as he put out his hand. "Jasper Donovan."he introduced with a light nod, a charming grin upon his lips as he took her small hand in his and shook it gently, yet firmly. He managed to place the cup as far away from the edge as possible when he got up. He looked down at her, still holding that charming grin.
"Would you like to join me?" he started, raising an eyebrow curiously. "Not.. Not that I am doing anything that entertaining. But I'd rather not go back to reading my book." he said through laughter, gesturing her to sit in the chair across from his, that is if she wanted.
