Registered Name: Tinted Passion Barn Name: Bella Age: 8 Sex: Mare Breed: BLM Mustang Height: 15.1HH Discipline: Western. trails//pleasure. Barrel Racing. Personality: When Teegan first got Bella, she was very timid, shy and aggressive. As they'd gotten from a mustang auction at a BLM mustang holding facility a few hours from where she lives. The mare was terrified of people, and wouldn't do anything for anyone, not even Teegan. But Teegan was determined to get through to this mare. Countless hours are the only thing that got this mare to where she is today. Now she willingly accepts saddle and bridle, she is very gently and loving, and she's found that treats and petting aren't bad, and she is starting to love all the attention that Teegan gives her. History: Bella was round up from the desert in Arizona, where numerous mustangs still live today. Bella was then transported to a mustang holding facility in Ewing, IL- just a few hours away from where Teegan lived. Teegan had this dream, a dream to one day own a mustang and train her to her potential and create a long every lasting bond with her. So when she saw the information for this mare on the Mustang holding facilities website, she almost died. It was like a dream come true, a dapple grey mustang only hours away. Teegan was determined to do everything in her power to get this mare. Teegan raised her own money to purchase the mare at the auction that weekend. Bringing her home to their small stable, the mare was very unhappy being confined to a stall during the night, she wanted to run and Teegan new it. She was trained in western riding and new this mare had the potential to be something great. Once Teegan had worked through the basics of gaining the mare's trust and acceptence of saddle and bridle. She began training her in barrel racing, and speed classes. And the mare loved it, teegan had finally found something this mare loved to do. What you want to accomplish with this horse while at CA:- keeping her fit, she's a little on the chubby side.
- start taking her to shows
- create a stronger bond with her
- get her used to other people
- help her get over her fear of water
