sample post: [as Kayden Tristani]It felt good to finally be out of the enclosed area of his truck. He really hated driving, especially hauling his horse. And as soon as he finished he had had to go sign up for classes, get his dorm number and all that jazz. Poor Cruz probably was wondering what in the hell was going on. A soft grin split the face of the eighteen year old trainer as he entered the barn, the sound of a young stallion hitting the side of his stall ripping through the enclosed building, causing Kayden to hustle forward. “Oh shut up boy.” Yeah, his voice sounded harsh, but anyone who knew of him knew that there was an underlying definite affection. It didn’t take long for Kayden to gather up his gear and adorn the horse, swinging lightly into the saddle and heading out towards the outdoor arena.
The stallion tossed his head, causing his rider to shift lightly in the long stirrup dressage saddle. He knew the young horse hated dressage, even though he was quite talented in that area, but he also knew that jumping could stress him out after such a long trailer ride, and that was something Kayden did not need. Almost immediately upon stepping foot into the airy out door arena the stallions head went straight down and his haunch flung upwards, a playful gesture on his part.

physical appearance: Jadyn is the epitome of beauty, but rarely is this seen. She keeps her dark hair down, and her emerald color eyes are never lined in any kind of makeup. She doesn’t want people to be around her much, and dresses as such. She is about 5’8, and is still growing. Her parents were both tall, her father 6 foot 6 and her mother 6’2. She hates being tall, but kind of likes it as well, seeing as she doesn’t have to worry about being the “shorty”
She is extremely thin and pale, as she never dares wear a bathing suit. She runs a lot, and there for is well muscled and lean. Many people would call her “anorexic” but she is really just thin. She doesn’t eat much, but definitely eats, and wouldn’t dream of throwing up her food.
clothing style: Jadyn keeps everything loose and long. She doesn’t wear short skirts or shorts. She keeps a baggy hoodie on when its cold and prefers long, peasant skirts to anything else. Her clothing style really relates to her personality, as she is very shy and doesn’t like to show off her beauty – which she honestly doesn’t know is there. Bathing suits are out, if she ever goes out into the sun she wears a one piece with a pair of sofies.

personality: Due to her past Jadyn is shy and timid, almost mean to people she doesn’t know. Often her quiet, nervous, attitude is taken as bitchiness. She really hates being around a lot of people, as it frightens her. She was compared to, by past people, as a abused horse or dog. The only time she really opens up is after she has known your for a long time. Once this happens though, she is fiercely loyal.
She trusts no one until she knows them well, but prefers to spill her guts on paper or to horses. She enjoys riding, but doesn’t think she is talented enough to do high levels. She considers herself a “loner” but is really not even that, she just stays away from people.
history: When Jadyn was 10 her parents died in a fatal car wreck. She lost two of the only people that she ever loved, and with it everything else. When she moved in with her aunt and uncle she fell in with the wrong crowd and things got tough. She was in and out of boarding schools as her relatives really didn’t have time for her. Her aunt was a lawyer and always at work, and her uncle a pilot, also gone constantly.
She knew her aunt and uncle loved her, but she began to hang out with a girl next door. At her first “party” at age 12 she was raped by an older guy. After this she began to shut herself away, running off all “friends” she had. Her aunt and uncle of course had no idea of the incident and sent her off to a boarding school. At school she was miserable, and during the summer had the guts to tell her aunt and uncle so.
She spent most of her time last summer on a ranch. She had always known how to ride, because as a kid her parents had allowed her to take lessons. Due to the ranch, her aunt and uncle sent her to Canterbury so that she could be at a school where horses were near by. They hope that the horses will keep her interested and she won’t be so miserable.
riding expierence: At a young age Jadyn just rode hunter jumpers. She really loves dressage and stadium jumping but thinks cross country is much too dangerous. After her parents death Jadyn was forced to quit riding, but this past summer found a small ranch where they allowed her to groom the horses after seeing her sulking around there for so long. Finally they let her ride around the older horses, just hacking them about. She hopes to be able to ride more now that she’s here.
