Okay, so I know that the suggestion of bringing your own school horse has been mention me and the other staff member have been discussing this. We think it's a good idea, but I personally just don't want all my hard work of the school horses going out the window. So I wanted to know what you think before we completely make the decision.
So would you bring your own horse if you could?
Would you keep your school horse?
Or does your charrie not even ride/like horses?

i think people should be ABLE to bring their own horse (one max), but also have school horses available for people who don't want to be that serious.

I think that not everyone would be able to bring their own horse, depending on their backgrounds. But families with money might be able to.
Like Caleb and Kaylin have money, but they're still going to use their school horses.
But like Ryot... with the plot I want to do, he'd have to bring his own horse I think.
So I think that school horses should be available. Maybe not as many. Because I think some people should be able to bring their own, while others should choose school horses.
Some people might not want to make up their own horse.
That's just my two cents.

i agree. one personal horse, at the most. and characters should also have obligations to school horses. like, you can bring and show your own horse to canterbury, but you also are assigned a school horse, sort of as a project type thing, to work on over the course of the year. that way, school horses wouldn't be thrown out the window.

I did not make a valid vote yet. I don't think everybody should be able to get a horse from home for instance:
Alyssa doesn't come from a rich family, therefore she should get a horse from home as she doesn't have any..
So it'd have to either be people with horses, or people that were rich and could buy their own horse. And we wouldn't want people to start making rich characters only for that reason would we? No!
Therefore.. I think it's a great idea.. but i think the school horses will still be used. I know Alyssa will use a school horse!
Plus if you do people should have the chance to change it from a school horse to a horse at home... because you know.. they didn't have this option before. I know Alyssa would stay with a school horse but certain people may want to get a horse from home.

I think bringing your own horse would be cool, but also school horses should be kept for those less fortunate kids. And their should be a max on horses alloted to each student and such.

I think its a good idea. You can put a section on joining specifying if you are bringing a horse, and then just make a thread in stalls, maybe.

Okay- so if we put this into effect. You are only allowed to bring ONE horse to canterbury. And you only have one horse while your here. So it's you either have a school horse, kayden pick a horse for you, or you bring your own. Only one horse. Then what we'll do is you will make a thread for you horse in the stalls. and put all it's information there, and show results, etc. Okay, so since everyone likes this idea, I guess we can put it into effect, and you can bring your own horse. ONLY ONE!. |

or maybe, if we wanted to limit the amount of horses from home, we could limit it to one horse per player. So only one of their characters could bring a horse, and the others would have to use school horses?
(is this in effect now? I wanna make Grey's horse. haha.)

You know? this is a very good point! some people may want a horse to just ride around trails.. you can either REQUEST A SCHOOL HORSE (kayden has no say) ask Kayden what horse you should have, or bring your own. that makes sence. okay.. know the special person is getting it! thank you all for clearing it up!
