It was a nice, warm day; Casey's first entire day at Canterbury. He wandered into the barn, wearing a simple pair of boots and dark jeans, as well as a plain black t-shirt. His hair was fairly messy and undealt with, and he wore a pair of aviator sunglasses. His thumbs were looped in his belt buckles as he ambled down the aisleway. He stopped at a stall on the left, glancing at the nameplate. Yep, this was the one. Paint Me Wonderful. His new lesson horse. He smiled softly and opened the door, grabbing a halter off the horse's door. "Hey, boy." He said softly as he slipped the leather halter over the paint horse's head. Then he led him out into the aisle and crosstied him.
Casey's plan was to just take the horse out for a quick hack in the outdoor ring, to get used to him. He walked towards the tack room and grabbed his western saddle and bridle, and put it on a rack beside Wonder. He grabbed a curry comb off the rack on the wall and began brushing the horse's two-toned body.
