You're Tied Together With A Smile [JT]

Weekends. What was better? The best thing about a weekend though, was no homework. That meant she could actually hang out and hopefully get a social life. She needed a date to the prom, or at least a friend to go with. Or else, she'd have to drop out, and not go. That would kill her social life.

She smiled as she walked into the pizzeria. The smell of fresh cooked pizza, fresh mushrooms, and meats. It smelt so good as it floated though her nose. She let the smell float through her nose and sucked it in to try to get more of the aroma. She walked over and ordered some pizza, a small double topping. With pizza and olives. She watched as they prepared it. 'Wow,' she thought to herself, 'that's bigger than i remember a medium being in Tenessee.' She just hoped she'd be able to finish it all.

Jess walked into the pizzeria. She had the most memorable life of her night, last night. It was so magical. Her and Caleb. Being together in the moonlight. He had taken her home and tucked her into bed after. For some reason she didn't mind that he had helped her get into pajamas. It didn't bother her that much. Jess looked around to see if she knew anybody. Not that she would. She had only met a few people so far.

Seeing a girl from canterbury Jess walked over and sat dwon across the table. "Do you mind if i join you?" she asked. Tucking a strand of hair behind ehr ear. She had seen the girl around campus. In the library, at the barn once. They didn't share a dorm room so Jess didn't know her though. "I'm JT Dalton," she siad and held out her hand for the girl to shake.

Alyssa took in a deep breath. Her chest rised and fell. With her two boy beaters on. A light green and a black. It didn't show any clevliage. It was quite charming on her. She had a head band on that match the eact green. Then her regular jeans, the weird thing was, she didn't have her jacket on. She was actually bare armed.

The girl walked over pleased her. At least she wasn't a complete outcast in this place, of course she wasn't in any strong clique as she didn't make an effort socially to do anything. "Of course you can join me." she said smiling. She looked at a screen as it flashed her number. She smiled and held her hand out for a quick shake. She got up and got the medium pizza quickly. "Sorry,"she said. She hoped she didn't seem rude. Or this girl didn't judge off first impressions. "I'm Alyssa Reetz," she said smiling her award winning "Alyssa Elizabeth Linn Reetz," she said. She wasn't embarrased to share her middle name like some other girls.

Jess nodded and shrugged. She ordered a coke and slipped the leather jacket off her shoulders. It showed a green tanktop with a black one over it. Her jeans were yet again blue jeans. By Bongo. She was wearing black and white skate shoes on her feet. They were size 8 in ladies. Her hair was laying on her back. She smiled and nodded her thanks. This girl seemed really nice. At the name JT cocked ehr ehad to the side. She had a cousin named that. Coincedence. "My cousin has that same name," she said and tapped ehr chin with her finger.

Jess took a sip of her coke when it came and smiled.

Alyssa looked at the girl as she took off her jacket. A very pretty body. She probably had guys falling for her all the time. She smiled politely and laughed. "Ya, Dalton sounds very familiar, I'm pretty sure I have family with that name, I'd have to check with my mom though." She crinkled her nose like she smelt something bad, though it was just the fact that she had to think.

She took a piece of the pizza. "Your welcome to have a piece if you want," she said. Her hands gesturing toward the medium, large to her, pizza. "I guess my eyes were bigger than my stomach." She said with her 'Reetz' family smile. The smile that was kept constant on her face no matter what her real mood was.

Jess nodded and bent down to look in her jacket pockets. SHe had just heard her phone ring. The ring was the song 'Live Like You were Dieing' by Tim McGraw. She looked apologeticaly at Alyssa. Speaking quickly into the phone she hung up after a few minutes. "Sorry my dad finally called to see how i was," she lied. Okay i truth it was Jax. He had started to call again and it worried her. Big time worried her.

Jess's eyebrows shot up. "Really?" she said. It was retorical. That was also very interesting. Jess leaned forward to take a slice of pizza. "Thanks, so you ride horses?" she asked. Hey if they both rode they could probably become great friends.

Alyssa smiled JT took her phone and talked on it. It was the most polite thing to do, but no judging off first impressions. She seemed like a pretty nice girl so far. She smiled kindly at the girl as she spoke on the phone. Eating her pizza and checking out the pizzeria. Just to check it out. She smiled as she hung up after about five minutes of boredom. "Oh, no problem." she said lying. Even though she did find it rude.

She crincled her nose agian. Think how weird it was they both had family with the same last names. She had a cousin with the full first name as Alyssa. That was really strange, almost scary actually. She smiled at her question. "Oh, I love to ride!" She exclaimed. "English, Jumping, Hunting mostly, but I can also do dressage and trails and what-not." She said. "What about you?" She asked only to be polite.

Jess nodded. The girl seemed really nice, but somethign about the way she sat and the way she looked at the moment made it seem liek it wasn't jsut no problem about the phone thing. Jess mentally shrugged and took another bite of pizza. "Awesome, i'm pretty much a begginner but i am starting to jump. Small verticals and cross poles." she explained.

After a few more bites of pizza Jess couldn't stand it anymore. She had to know about this girls cousin. "Where does your cousin live? Mine lived in Tennessee," she aksed and smiled. She really wnated to get to the bottom of the same name problem.

Alyssa nodded at her. "Ya.. I remember when I was a beginner.. back at home." She said. She took in a deep breath. Then took an other bite of pizza. She was glad this girl had come along. She wouldn't be able to finish this pizza if she hadn't come along. She wasn't sure she was going to finish it with her here.

She smiled politely though. Then heard her question, quickly fallowed by a statement. She just sat there politly looking at this girl. Then the statement intruiged her. "I used to live in Tennessee!" She exclaimed excidetly! That was extremely interesting. "Maybe I know your cousin. Though I didn't know anybody by the same name as me." She said. This made her mind mix, confusion, excitement, happiness and so much more!

Jess narrowed her eyes and then opened them again. This was extremely wierd. She finished her first slice and then grabbed another. She highly doubted they would be able to finish this pizza together, but it was worth a try. Jess's eyes widened when Alyssa said that she used to live in Tennessee. Could this be? No definitly not. This girl didn't seem liek the type of person who could be in her family. "Where did your cousin live?" she asked again. Alyssa must not have heard her the first time.

Then a thought struck her. She remembered her aunty and uncles names. If they were the same as Alyssa's parents then they were definatly cousins. Jess looked up and swallowed a bite of pizza. "Are your parents by any chance named Sara and Tim. My dads sister is named Sara," she aaked and pursed ehr lips.

Alyssa listened to her question again. Trying to fish it out form the back of her memory. "Uh.. I don't remember, someplace in New York I think.." she sighed. She wished she could remember. It was so intriging. This conversation really caught her attention and how interesting would it be to tell her ma and pa that she had found her cousin? From NEW YORK! And they were united in CALIFORNIA! That would be really weird, but yet so cool.

Alyssa's mouth dropped at her question. "Oh, my god." She said. That was her paren'ts name. How would this girl know if they weren't cousins. "Ya, that's their name!" She exclaimed enthused. She started laughing. "Well hey..." she paused momentairily before adding the word, "couz."
