sample post: Stephanie stepped out of the car and squinted into the sun. In the near distance, she could spot the main building of Devonshire Academy. Stephanie had been riding for 8 years previous to her arrival at the Academy and that experience had helped the sixteen year old to be accepted to the school.
“Need any help bringing your bags to your dorm, Honey?” asked her dad from the driver’s seat. Stephanie knew that she wouldn’t need any help, judging by the fact that there was the silhouette of a really cute guy coming from the main building towards the car.
“No thanks, Dad. I’ll be fine. Tucker’s already here, right?” she replied.
“Yeah, he arrived yesterday.”
“Alright, Dad. I love you! I’ll call you every night!” said Stephanie, eager to get to her dorm.
“Love you, Sweetie!” he said. As he backed the car out of the main drive, Stephanie watched as her father drove away and waved. Sure she would miss him, but she was eager to meet this new person walking briskly towards her.
character
full name: Stephanie Elaine Biliak
nicknames: Steffie
age: 16
grade: sophomore
clique: sweethearts
gender: female
sexuality: straight
family: Mom: Dianne-46, Dad: Tom-46, Sister: Leigha-14
physical appearance: Stephanie is very tall and skinny. She is 5’11”, which is very tall for her age. It’s actually very tall for any female at any age, but let’s not go there. Some of her friends think that she’s anorexic or bulimic, but she went to the doctor and the tests came back negative for each one. She is 130 pounds, but that’s only because she’s tall and she’s got a long bone structure.
*Paragraph*Stephanie has a few zits on her chin, but that’s it. They aren’t very noticeable because they’re tiny. She uses ProActive every day, so they should be gone soon. She has brown hair and brown eyes that sparkle whenever she looks into the sun. Her slender body makes all of the guys fall in love with her.
*Paragraph*To her friends, it doesn't matter how pretty Stephanie is as long as she acts fine, but they do comment on her hair and clothes from time to time. Sometimes Stephanie wears clothes that make her eyes really pop, and sometimes she just wants them to look normal. Wanting to look regular is Stephanie's main goal, but she dresses up if she really wants to or needs to. Her dresses show off how long her legs are, and many people comment on them. She always has perfectly mani-pedi'd nails and they always look good.
clothing style: Stephanie likes to wear Hollister T’s and Delia’s blue jeans. Sometimes when it’s hot she’ll wear Bermudas, but jeans are her most frequent attire. Her favorite shoes are her riding boots, but in school she’ll wear navy blue Converse sneakers. If she wants to dress up, she'll wear her favorite dress which is black with red roses on it. It makes her figure look like an hourglass (which we all know is a girl's goal), and it shows off her eyes.
likes: dogs, horses (especially GV's), guys, bright colors, hanging with her friends
dislikes: rude preps, the color black, keeping animals in captivity (ie zoos), animal slaughter, animal abusers
personality: Stephanie likes to think that everyone has a good side to them. She gives everyone three chances and if they haven’t been OK’d by her by the end of those three chances, then she’ll label them as people to stay away from. She doesn’t label by race, color, or clothing style. Her favorite thing to do is ride horses (obviously), and she started riding at age 8. Stephanie is bubbly most of the time and she loves to hang out with friends.
*Paragraph*She hates when people make fun of her or others because of the way they dress or look. Stephanie always stands up for her friends and other people who may be getting picked on. If a bully goes after a tiny person, she will stand up for them. But if the bully doesn't stop, then this girl can really pack a punch. Stephanie started to do this in third grade, when the new girl in school, Rachel, was from Tennesee and had a funny accent. She felt bad for Rachel and stood up to the bullies.
*Paragraph*Stephanie loves her horses. Her parents were going to buy her her own Gypsy Vanner, but then she got accepted into Canterbury. Knowing that she couldn't bring her own horse to school, she told them not to and maybe she could buy her own when she got back. She didn't want them to waste their money on something that she wouldn't be able to use. Stephanie also didn't want them to spend any money on the horse for her, so she is planning on buying her own using money that she got from working off-campus and other places. Her modesty and thankfulness helped her get a scholarship at her old school and earned her many friends.
history: Stephanie Elaine Biliak was born in Wellington, Arkansas to Diane and Tom Biliak. She was born on October 6, 1991. Her family was always equine-influenced. Her parents showed a paint stallion named Tucker for three years before Stephanie was born. When Stephanie was 3, her parents put her on a miniature horse named Stormy and that was when Stephanie’s love for horses began. Stephanie started riding Stormy for twenty minutes at a time, and she eventually worked to show her parents that she deserved her own horse. When she was 7, her parents decided to let her own Tucker. To make the transfer official, her parents signed Tucker over to Stephanie for one dollar.
*Paragraph*Stephanie worked her way into the show circuit over time. When she was eight, she competed in her first real show. Before that, she competed in mini-competitions at the barn where Tucker was boarded. She competed against boys and girls that were her age and a few that were younger. At her very first real show, she won 2nd place and she became best friends with the first place winner, Jessica Biellmont. Jessica owned a Gypsy Vanner, and Ireland was the horse that got her interested in the breed.
*Paragraph*She worked at the Sorrel Hill Stables, the place where Tucker was boarded, for three years. She deposited the money that she earned into a savings account, where she could gain interest and get more money. Her parents, proud of what she had done with her money, let her enroll in Canterbury Academy, where she would attend in three years, at age 16. For the next two years, Stephanie remained on the show jumping circuit. She competed on the Junior Olympic Team when she was 15 years old. She won a silver medal in the individual jumping round, and she won $12,000.
*Paragraph*For her last year at home, Stephanie decided to just chill. She pulled out of the show circuit and just rode Tucker by herself. She and Jessica hung out every other week, and they would go on trail rides in the woods behind Sorrel Hill. She spent her last year just hanging out with her friends and taking it easy. She broke up with her boyfriend of seven months a month before she arrived at Canterbury. She was actually glad because a guy wouldn’t limit her for a while. A month later, she arrived at Canterbury Academy.
riding expierence: Stephanie has been riding for eight years. She started riding at age eight when her parents bought their first family horse, Tucker. Tucker is a paint stallion who is a total brat to anyone but Stephanie. Stephanie has won multiple national titles and three international titles. She has also competed on the Junior Olympic Team. As stated earlier, she would've gotten a Gypsy Vanner, but she got accepted to Canterbury.
