[/u]New Rules Added March 28th, 2008
Minimum Word Count:
We’ve changed the requirement from one paragraph to 100 words – that’s not a lot folks! And this isn’t for OOC or myspace/aim/cellphone stuff just in character posts IE lessons, horse stuff, interaction with others, dorms. You get the idea. There is a word counter under the “post, preview, spell check, reset” buttons when you post, and it automatically updates. If you have questions PM me or Jumper.
Lessons/School Horses:
Kayden will be finding horses now, there will be no more school horses. If you have a lesson and want a particular horse type for your personal horse, ask him in character and he will bring in the perfect horse with you. Remember you don't have to have a personal horse, you could just ride the lesson horses in lessons. This gets rid of the annoying requests and confusion. If you already have a school horse it is now your personal horse, but no more school horses will be given out. If you decide you no longer want the school horse you have now, Kayden will take the horse on and either find a rider for it, turn it into a lesson horse or sell it.
OKAY- NOW WE'VE CHANGED THIS UP A BIT, YOU ACTUALLY WILL STILL BE ALLOWED TO CLAIM SCHOOL HORSES, BECAUSE IT IS BECOMING DIFFICULT TO ASSIGN EVERYONE A HORSE THROUGH A LESSON. YOU STILL HAVE THE OPTION OF GETTING A HORSE FROM KAYDEN; BUT YOU CAN ALSO GET A SCHOOL HORSE INSTEAD, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT AS LONG. SO SORRY EVERYONE FOR ALL THE CONFUSION THAT'S BEEN GOING ON.
Stalls:
You now have to make a “stall” thread for your particular horse. This is not in character. If Kayden assigns you a horse or you have a school horse you make ONE thread for your horse that HAS to include the information given to you by Kayden and/or in the horses file (like what’s in the “Tristani horses” or “lesson horses” thread) but can also, and I recommend this, include all lesson threads, all threads where your riding/working with your horse etc. and then all show threads and stuff. You will be able to keep track of all horse related stuff that way.
Shows:
Shows are going to be role-played out. YES! RPED OUT! The person who RPS the best and most realistic (as in if you were working on a certain kind of jump that your horse didn’t like and he didn’t even falter going up to it in the show = minus realism) wins the show. Shows for out of town – like when Kayden and his riders go to shows that aren’t at CA – will also be RPed out in the show grounds under a subboard called “out of town shows”. This way you guys can monitor your friends, and it’s not just ‘hey I went out of town and won’ ya know?
For the upcoming site wide show:
If you have entered a ton of classes, you can still withdraw, but make sure you do it before the closing date! Courses for jumping, tests for dressage, etc. will be posted BEFORE the show date so that you can have time to make an awesome post – you will have approximately a week between opening and closing of a class to post your amazing show post.
