Amy's hair is long, thick and black. Its smooth and wavy and she often has colored streaks dyed in it. It contrasts with her beautiful grey eyes which are usually lined with black liner. Her nose is small and kind of cute and her lips are just the proportionate plumpness. Her skin is pale and smooth and doesn't really tan that much, no matter how much time she spends in the sun. This kind of bothers her sometimes but she's learned to live with it.
Amy is a pretty average height and weight. Being active all the time helps out with this. Especially helping out doing extra chores around the barn and stuff. She isn't ridiculously skinny but she isn't over weight, she's just healthy. She's about five foot four and a hundred and ten pounds. Amy isnt one of those girls who's obsessed with her weight, there are more important things in life, like horses and school.

Amy's style is original, some people might mistake her for a scene kid but she really isnt. She likes bright colors, funky accessories and skinny jeans but she has her own style and makes it work. She doesnt like to wear the same thing everyone else is wearing so she often experiments with different kinds of outfits. Sometimes she'll randomly wear dresses, other times its leggings and a long sweat shirt kind of thing. Most of the time though, as long as she can ride in it, she'll wear it. Her normal outfit would be a pair of skinnies, riding boots and a graphic tee with some necklaces. But when she's riding she doesnt pile up on the accessories, she's smarter than that.

Amy was born on February 14th, a whole month early, to two adoring but scared parents. They’d never had a kid before so they were going to do everything in their power to make sure they did it right. Amy was pampered, even spoiled slightly, and was a happy little girl. Until two and a half years later her younger brother came around and her parents had to split their attention both ways.
Amy hadn’t minded though, not too much anyways. She was a happy little kid, always singing or drawing or even both. She took all sorts of lessons when she was little, singing, piano, ballet, gymnastics. Until two years after Ty was born, Samantha came along and money started getting tight. This had been a disappointment for Amy. She missed her friends, her activities, but she never really showed it too much.
When Amy was 14, her last sibling, Jimmy Jr. as she called him, came along. She was used to it by now, the fact that she couldn’t always get what she wanted because there were others around that needed attention or other things as well. But by this time Amethyst had discovered a passion. One that needed some attention. It was horses. Most little girls grow out of their horse phase but Amy never did.
So she managed to get a scholarship at Canterbury and she loves it so much. She worked so hard to get where she is, and she continues to work hard. Along with horses, she enjoys photography.

Amy first rode a horse at a cousin's house in Arizona. She was in love. Her parents tried to pay for lessons but they got too expensive. Amy started working in exchange for lessons or just riding time. All in all she's been riding for about two years. She's a dedicated rider so she learns fast. She isnt perfect and she doesnt know everything but she definitely has some kind of gift when it comes to horses.

Amysat curled up in a chair which she had turned from the table to face the window. She just wanted to be alone with her hot chocolate. Yeah Amy wasn't a big coffee drinker. But she loved hot chocolate and she really needed something warm to comfort her crazy insides. She'd asked for extra whipped cream just because it was an emergency okay? The sensitive girl at the counter seemed to understand and even made her hot chocolate more chocolatey than it normally was. Amy loved sympathetic employees who didnt ask any questions. they were the best kind. She didnt want to talk to anyone at the moment because then somebody might find out what had happened. And she didnt want that to happen. But if she didnt tell somebody she might explode or something... that would be equally bad. So it was a hard decision. She'd roll with the punches and see what happened.
Sipping the warm chocolately goodness, she didnt even notice anyone else coming into the starbucks, nor did she hear Nile's unmistakable scottish accent. Which also meant she didnt see him come in to the sitting area. Amy was off in her own little world, an indifferent yet vaguely pained expression on her face as she thought. She had to think this over good and long. It was really complicated. What did this mean for their friendship? Could they still be friends after all that? Maybe after they both got over it and forgot... in a couple years. She didnt know if she liked that idea. She wanted to just pretend it had never happened so they could be as close friends as they had been before but she couldnt do that. It hurt Amy too much to know she'd let that happen.
Amy was really devastated by this. It was probably one of the biggest mistakes she'd made in a long time and it hurt more than she'd expected. She didnt want to talk or see or hear. Right now she just wanted to either sleep or just think this to death. Because she had to figure it out, something had to be done. But not right now. She didnt want to see Nile again for a while, or at least until the initial sting of the whole ordeal wore off and it was just a throbbing bruise as apposed to an open wound.
The girl brushed some rebellious strands of hair out of her eyes and sighed, looking down at her steaming, warm cup of hot chocolate. She took a spoon she'd picked up from the counter and unwrapped it before scooping off some of the whipped cream and put it in her mouth, savoring the sweetness as she closed her eyes.
