Andrew had been surprised when the other day, one of his best friends, Alayna, had called him. Well it wasn't a surprise that she had actually called, since they did talk very often. What got him the most was what she had told him. She was actually coming here to school at CA. ANdrew was in shock and couldn't believe it. Ever since their sophmore year, they had been seperated by their families, and/or moving around. Somehow they still always managed to plan to see each other and hang out, and were always talking. Now finally, after what, 2 years?, they were going to be at the same school for their senior year. This was awesome. When they had last talked, they had planned to meet at the pizza place to met up and catch up.
Andrew had worn simple jeans and a somewhat fitting Hollister t-shirt. There really was no reason to get very dressed up. After all it was Alayna, and she had seen him in many phases. Looking at his phone, it read 1:25 She would probably be getting her very soon, Andrew wasn't worried though. Picking out a small table for two, he sat down. The place seemed to be a nice popular spot, seeing that a lot of younger people that looked liked they went to CA were here. A waiter came up to him and waited for his order. Give me a few, I'm waiting for someone With a nod the waiter had walked away, leaving Andrew alone.
Andrew sat there, and began tapping the table with his fingers with a random beat. He also shook his foot very fast, a habbit that he had for years now. He did it when he was bored, nervoous, pretty much anything really. Looking around he still hadn't spotted Alayna yet. He figured the pizza place would be the perfect place to meet up, since they both loved pizza a lot.
((eh kind of icky sorry))

Well I Just Heard ------------------------------------------------------- the news today, it seems my life is gunna change
Alayna all in all was having a good week. Nava was moving well after his latest injury and Alayna was definetely happy about that. Thank god Alayna was taking vet tech and interning at the equine clinic or she would be spending a great amount of money just on the stallions injuries. Nava's hot temper was going to be the end of him one of these days. He was a Spanish Andalusian that Alaynas family had raised herself. The only way for Alayna to have him as a horse here at Canterbury was to convince the owner to buy Nava, which wasnt that hard for Nava was a great animal. But then again he was a very hard horse to handle. A big, huge, ebony black oversized bombshell. He always struck out at other students when he was in a bad mood so many knew to stay away from him. Rather be safe than sorry. This latest injury was when Nava tried to kick through the paddock fence to get at another stallion. Men. So typical.
It had been awhile since Alayna had seen Andrew. The man of Alaynas dreams, it was hard to imagine that they practically grew up together, but when their relationship really took a turn up Alaynas family went back home to Italy. They had always managed to keep in touch though and whenever Alayna was in the states she would call up Andrew and they would meet up somewhere. Now however it has been two years since Alayna had seen him and who would've thought it Alayna had moved back to this very town and going to Canterbury. Though that had been on purpose. Alayna had never told Andrew how she really felt ever since her mother died Alayna got everything, sold it all( keeping only Navarano) and came back. Its hard coming back when Alayna has lived so long out in the open country, but she has to do it. For the man she has grown to love.
Alayna walked into the Pizza Parlour not exactly dressed in her sunday best. But really who would care? Andrew had seen her running around in her underwear so she could care less about getting dressed up for him. Alayna had her hair up in a messy ponytail with a tank top and some blue jeans. What more could you ask for. Alayna spotted Andrew almost immediately. Walking up behind him Alayna wrapped her trong, but soft arms around him and held him tight. How badly do you want me. She teased. It was always so much fun teasing with Andrew. Grnning from ear to ear like she normally does Alayna kissed him softly on the neck before sitting down in the seat across from him. How've you been Andrew? Alayna was smiling for she couldnt stop. Everyone who knew Alayna well enough knew that if she was not smiling something was wrong. ooc: done i dont like it sorry. As Andrew sat there, he continued to look around. There were different pictures of who knows what really and some very interesting paintings. Trying to figure out what they were, Andrew just laughed shaking his head. There were definately some very odd but interesting 'art' out there and quite fun to look at. It did keep him somewhat enterained, key word, somewhat.
Hearing the small bell ring as someone entered the place, Andrew didn't bother to turn around to see who had walked in. No use since he wasn't actually facing the entrance t the pizza place. He would if he was facing that way. What's the big deal anyways. Shaking his head he sat there, hearing footsteps behind him, Andrew wasn't able to turn around fast enough to see who it was. Within a matter of seconds, he knew it was Alayna, just by her touch, well hug, and of course her voice. A quick, but big smile, crossed his mouth as he wrapped his arms around hers, which were around his neck. Yes, he most certainly had missed her. Well, seeing as I haven't seen you in 2 years or so, I think that answers itself. he said back in a tease, biting her arm playfully. Alayna always seemed to know how to tease Andrew, but they had fun with it. It really wasn't that serious, was it? Pushing the thought aside, he smiled as she sat down in front of him.
It was still pretty crazy to believe that they would be going to the same school together now. To think she moved out of the state and then after 2 years or whatever it was, she just so happened to move here and attend CA. Coincidence or not? Focusing his attention back to Alayna, he smiled. Could be better I guess. But glad to have you around again he said. It was true. Parents are whatever, you know that whole ordeal Of course he was referring to his step parents, but she knew that whole story with his real dad. Matter of fact she's one of the few people who knows about it and trusts to talk about it, if necessary. With a shrug, he looked back at her. But hey, what's new? he said with a laugh. How's everything with you missy? he said patting her hands waiting for her answer. Yes he really had missed her and they most certainly had a whole lot to catch up on everything. They would have plenty of time.
((meh, mine is ickier))

You Deserve ------------------------------------------------------- much better than me
Well, seeing as I haven't seen you in 2 years or so, I think that answers itself. A playful giggle erupted from her lips as Alayna felt Andrew bite her arm. Most girls would not have liked it when Andrew did that. But they had been best friends for so long that nothing he did ever bothered her. I guess that means you want me a great deal. Alayna sat across from Andrew looking like an undercover cop. Her stare was constent, never changing and concidering that it was VERY hard for Alayna to keep a straight face this was a great feat for her. Though Alaynas eyes always gave her away. They were always sparkling and emmiting that happy personality that always seemed to inhabit Alayna. There were very few times that Alayna was not happy or not laughing, when she wasnt her friends knew something was not right with her and it was normally a big deal. Could be better I guess. But glad to have you around again. Parents are whatever, you know that whole ordeal. Alayna nodded. A very serious look on her face. She knew all about Andrews family issues for she had been there for andrew through it all. Yea Andrew I know how it goes. Im sorry things arent going better for you yet. Wow you really that happy that Im back? Alayna began to smile once again. It was what she did best, Alayna always lit up a room.
Andrew knew all about her family issues as well. She had once had a great family until her father died. Then everything began to fall apart. Her mother became a drunk and moved them around a lot, finally ending them up in Tuscany Italy. Though Andrew didnt know the full extent. Alayna didnt want to worry her best friend too much concidering that he was having his own problems. But hey, what's new? How's everything with you missy? Alayna gave him another smile as she felt her hands tingle at his touch. Well. Mom moved us to Tuscany...and once she died I decided to move back. I sold all the horses and the farm and came back here. I have people here that I missed way to much. She gave Andrew a teasing smile. I even brought Navarano back with me. Now Im just trying to make due in a new life. Living on my own, and alone...which always seems how my life ends up. Im always alone.
Im sorry...kind of ran away with myself there. Grabbing her coke Alayna took a huge swig hoping it would help clear her head. About that point the pizza arrived and Alayna dug right in. Alayna was one of those girls that had no problem eating food, much less in front of men. Hell she loved to eat what was wrong with that? And it never seemed to bother Andrew. So tell me..is there good dressage competition here? Back in Tuscany Navarano and I were champions three years running. She was very proud of her stallion. Alayna had emailed Andrew all through the night when Nava's dam was in labor. Through web cam Andrew was there through the whole thing so Nava was as good Andrews horse as hers. Alayna always kept Andrew updated on how Navarano was doing. And now the stallion was a accident waiting to happen but Alayna loved him more than anything. ooc: done ill get this finished whenever i can wow i did manage to finish. Andrew could most certainly tell that she was beyond happy and excited to see him. You could see it in her eyes and by her smile. She had always had an amazing smile that was for sure. He loved seeing her smile and making her smile. After all she was one of his best friends. Oh yes, I would imagine so. he said easily with a sly wink to her. Looking at her he couldn't help but not smile. Not only was she a very beautiful woman, she was truely amazing. Shit, he couldn't stop smiling himself either, he was so exicted and happy. Well what would people think. He hadn't seen one of his best friends in nearly over 2 years or so and now she was back not only living near by, but attending the same school. Were people suppose to think he would be all sad and gloomy? Yeah, ok. Looking up from his thoughts again he nodded to her comment. I know you do. The divorce was hard and stuff was being put on me. Oh well. as he did a small shrug with his shoulders. As he looked at her a look of surprise came on his face as she asked if he was that excited. Of course I am. I haven't seen you in more than two years. I'm not going to be mad or upset. was said with a laugh. If she said she wasn't that happy to see him, oh boy she would be getting it from Andrew that was for sure. Andrew knew better than to think that she wouldn't be happy.
As the whole family issue was brought up slightly again, he frowned. Not that Andrew was utterly depressed with his stepparents gettind divorced, it was more anger than that. So many things were blamed on Andrew it was ridiculous. Half the stuff he never did. With all that anger in him, it just turned him to do more bad stuff as his mother called it. In a way he was relieved to get out of the house for a bit, but it sucked having to leave all of his friends, and his senior year at the school he had been attending for so long. Of course Alayna knew that, and with his father killing his own mother. There were a few things she still didn't know, which he felt bad, but he just couldn't come to tell her all of it. She knew about the abuse, but not exactly what kind was done to Andrew. Gah, why think about this now. Be happy, Alayna's here. One day, one day she'll end up knowing. Shaking his head slightly, he turned to lisen to Alayna as she spoke. He knew it had been hard for her when her mom had died and was upset that he couldn't do more to help her out. Well atleast he did the best he could right? Well I am glad your back. It does suck that you had to go through all that by yourself though. was said with sympathy as he squeezed her hand again giving a smile. Hey hey, you're not alone. You've always had me remember? he said with a stern face. Of course it sucked when Andrew couldn't actually be there to help out but he tried.
As she said she got carried away he shook his head. No need to apologize. Seeing the pizza arrive he also eagerly dug in too. Andrew was pretty hungry seeing as he hadn't eaten anything today yet. THe pizza was good too. Looking up at Alayna he laughed slightly. She mot definatly loved her food too, just like him. A lot of girls Andrew had either known dated or whatever, most of them were 'polite' so to say with eating. Not that Alayna went all out, she just wasn't self conscience about it. Maybe it was because she had known him for so long that affected it. Either way, Andrew didn't mind one bit. Finishing off his first slice, he took a big gulp of the mountain dew, and then went for his second. As he was eating he listened to Alayna ask about competions. As he swalloed he wiped his mouth with the napkin. Um, I know there's a big competition involving the school coming up that I think has a few dressage classes. As for dressage competitions alone, I'm not sure. he said with a shrug. Right now he was focused on working with getting Romeo to work on his collections for jumping. Shit, Alayna could help him with that! You know, you gotta met the horse I'm riding her. He's a 4 year old Warmblood. He's too much fun. I'm actually trying to work on a bit of dressage to help him learn his collections more for hunters/jumpers. he said with a smile. He was sure that she would love Romeo. As she spoke of Navarro, he realized now was his chance to actually met him. Raising up a fork as if to threaten her if she didn't he said, I still need to meet that little stinker Navarro he said with a playful smile. He did remember that one night he stayed up with her while Navarro's dam, which he couldn't remember the name went into labor. Interesting day/night Andrew remembered.
Setting the fork down he took another sip of his mountain dew. With the thought of prom being brought up in his head, he looked at Alayna, sure she would be surprised with this one. Remember that pact we made when we were freshmans? Andrew really didn't know if she would remember, but hey it was always worth the shot. He did remember. Prom had come up as a conversation between the two of them and they had made a promise that when the time had come for their proms and they didn't have a girlfriend/boyfriend at the time nor any other dates they would go with each other. Well, those things aren't up there he said almost positive he didn't make sense with that last statement. So, would you be my date for the prom? finally came out. Andrew looked at her, not sure what her reaction would be. Yeah, he was sure she was most definatly not expecting this.

Just Stay With Me ------------------------------------------------------- and hold me close
Seeing Andrew so happy to see her was like a breath of fresh air. Oh yes, I would imagine so. A smile spread across Alaynas lips when she saw him wink. Andrew always found a way to make her smile and all giddy. Though this feeling in the pit of her stomach was something that she had never felt before. It was like butterflies and a numbness mixed together and Alayna actually liked that feeling. Whenever Andrew touched her Alaynas body would turn sumersaults on the inside. That better be so. She added with a little wink of her own. Alayna hadnt seen Andrew in over two years and they had both changed so much. They had both grown up. Now Alayna was a young woman who was confident in herself and acted like a true lady when the occassion called for it. Andrew has become th handsome young man that was every girls dream. Well Alaynas anyway. I know you do. The divorce was hard and stuff was being put on me. Oh well. Of course I am. I haven't seen you in more than two years. I'm not going to be mad or upset. Alayna couldnt help but blush at the last part. He was happy that she was here and it would only make her the happier. Well then Im glad that Im back.
Um, I know there's a big competition involving the school coming up that I think has a few dressage classes. As for dressage competitions alone, I'm not sure. Alayna almost choked as she tried to look at Andrew and pay attention to eating her food. It was not easy. Alayna was definetely not one of multitaskable people. She couldnt even walk around the house and do something else at the same time. Yea I already signed up for that. I just have to work with Nava on his half pass and we shall be good to go. Alayna thought of her beloved stallion. The spanish Andalusian stallion that was every dressage riders dream. Alayna loved Navarano more than anything else in the world. He was her baby and the bond the two shared was evident every time anyone saw them together. Navarano adored Alayna and worked well only under her, they were the perfect match. You know, you gotta met the horse I'm riding her. He's a 4 year old Warmblood. He's too much fun. I'm actually trying to work on a bit of dressage to help him learn his collections more for hunters/jumpers. I still need to meet that little stinker Navarro. Alayna gave a smile once again as she finished her last piece of pizza. She knew that he was hinting to her helping with the dressage and Alayna knew that she would do it. She had trained all the horses at her farm and of course Navarano was trained by her. That was probably why he only allowed Alayna to ride him. In Nava's five years of life Alayna was the only one that has ever ridden him. I look forward to meeting him. Nava has grown into such a fine stallion and I love him so much. Hes stubborn and has a spirit that can take him miles. Once we were at a championship and Nava got hurt. I didnt even know he was injured until after the show. He performed beautifully and we got first place, but as soon as we exited the arena he started limping. Hes a fighter and has a great heart. Spanish Perfection, in my eyes anyway. Alaynas eyes seemed to glaze over when she spoke of Nava and she had to shake her head to bring herself back.
Alayna leaned back in her chair comfortably, though her legs were not crossed as a ladies legs should be. They were spread out like a mans just because that was a comfortable way to sit for her. Alayna only liked crossing her legs when she needed to present herself as a lady. Alayna was every mans dream in many ways. She was beautiful, athletic, loved sports, and didnt mind kicking back and relaxing. There were just so many things that Alayna loved to do she was a tomboy. Remember that pact we made when we were freshmans? Alayna had to think for a few moments before she remembered. The pact he was speaking of was something very close to Alaynas heart. She had even forgotten that prom was so close now. She could only guess where Andrew was going with this. So, would you be my date for the prom? A large smile erupted from Alaynas lips. Leaning forward placing her hand on Andrews she said very confidently and without hesitation. I would love to go to prom with you. ooc: done ending kinda sucks i ran ot of ideas.lol and Nava's name is spelt N-A-V-A-R-A-N-O not Navarro lol [/blockquote][/blockquote]
