Caleb walked slowly towards the pastures. He led Hershey behind him, the middle-aged Canadian warmblood moving slowly. Caleb has just given him a pretty good work out and wanted to treat Hershey to a bit of luxury time outside of the stall and free of a rider. Hershey lipped Caleb's shoulder, making Caleb smirk. He lightly batted Hershey's muzzle away before reaching the pasture. Warm green grass blew in the light wind, creating a pleasant haven for a tired horse. Caleb slowly opened the gate to the pasture and led Hershey into its circumference.
"There you go, boy. Nice green grass yours for the taking. Just don't eat too much. We'll both suffer from that." He lightly smacked Hershey's flank as he passed him before leaving the pasture.
Caleb leaned against the fence, watching Hershey while he thought about this and that. He needed to take a ride on the Harley, not wanting anything to get rusty. True, he'd ridden it just yesterday, but the Harley was his 'baby.' Apart from Hershey and his kid sister, the Harley was a constant in his changing life. He looked up at the sound of foot falls on the soft hay littering the ground, gravel skittering away from the walker's feet.

After a somewhat hard ride out on the trails, Andrew had managed to finally get Romeo calmed down after the ride. If only he was this calm on the trails. You know, your being a big baby today. Andrew looked at Romeo who stared right back at him snorting. Shaking his head and laughing Andrew clipped the lead line onto his halter, and lead him off the wash rack. Hopefully next time, Romeo wouldn't be as hyper and spook at everything. It was all a learning process.
Andrew stroked Romeo's chestnut neck as they walked towards the pastures. Romeo pranced eagerly alongside of Andrew nippinng at the lead rope occasionally. Laughing at Romeo, Andrew saw a few horses in the pastures and decided to give Romeo his own, just for now. He didn't know how he was around other horses, and didn't think he'd be a problem, but still just to be safe. Opening the gate to the pasture, he lead Romeo in, shutting it somewhat. Leading him in, he unclipped his lead line. Romeo imediately took off galloping and bucking like crazy, Andrew laughing. Now that was the true 4 year old in him. Leaving him be, Andrew walked out, shutting the gate and locking it, putting the lead line over the fence. Watching Romeo for a bit, he saw a horse grazing peacefully. Andrew hadn't even seen the guy that was standing there. SHows how much he was focusing on Romeo. Hey man he said with a nod.
((heh I didn't even realize Andrew was suppose to post here, sorry))
