Recently, Andrew had signed up for a lesson hearing that CA had a new trainer. Andrew was not a beginner rider that was for sure. You could say that he was most definatly more experienced. He mainly did it because it was always good to check up on your riding and one was never the perfect rider, right? Also, the horse he was assigned, Romeo, was still very young, at 4, not even 5 yet. The gelding did have a lot of talent, Andrew was already noticing it.
So today was his lessons. Andrew arrived a little bit earlier than when it was suppose to start just so he could spend some time with Romeo and get him groomed and tacked, with honestly did not take that long. As Andrew walked down the stable's aisle akwardly. He was wearing riding breeches, and just absolutely hated them. It always felt like he had a wedgie, and were way to tight on him, making him feel gay. Oh well, it was better than jeans right. Plus the half chaps made it look a bit better. Andrew wasn't worried about that though. Smiling seeing the chestnut warmblood gelding, Andrew kissed the gelding's muzzle as Romeo came up to him. Ready for our first lesson together Romeo? Snorting, Romeo just looked at him.
Laughing, Andrew put his halter on, and brought him out to the cross ties. Quickly grooming him, Andrew went to the tack room and grabbed Romeo's stuff, and headed back. Putting the saddle pad, saddle, and girth on, Andrew laughed as Romeo tried nipping him and curiously watching him. Giving him a pat on the neck, Romeo easily accepted the bit and chomped away tasting it. Grabbing his helmet and gloves, Andrew took off the halter, and grabbed the reins, leading Rmeo to the indoor ring. Andrew figured there wouldn't be anyone else in there since he had a lesson.
Romeo stood still looking around curiously as Andrew checked his girth and put his gloves and helmet on, and then quickly mounting. Snorting, Romeo walked forward as Andrew asked him too. Giving him a pat, he let him walk around on a loose rein and looked round for any site of his instructor.

Ah, yet another lesson. Kayden didn’t know how tough it would be to teach so many students. He was going to have to combine lessons and such seeing as the amount of request he was getting was increasing greatly. He had just returned the night before, only a moment before curfew, with a horse he had brought in for another student, and right now he slipped the saddle onto the horses back, stroking its neck fondly. Jack had been one of Kayden’s first success stories. He clicked the send button on a text to Kaylin, telling her that he was bringing Jack to the arena and for her to bring her boots and chaps and a helmet. Hopefully his student wouldn’t mind. Kayden swung swiftly into the saddle, looking, I’m sure, quite ridiculous on the thirteen and a half hand pony.
Arriving at the lovely indoor arena Kayden smiled at a boy with a horse he assumed was Andrew. ”Hey, I’m Kayden Tristani. And no, I normally don’t ride a welsh pony. Can I see a warm up?” He moved quickly, there was no point in wasting time. He himself had already moved into the arena and was walking the small horse around the inner track of the covered building. A talent a trainer must have – the ability to watch and ride at the same time.

Kaylin was reading a novel when her cellphone went off. Not recognizing the never, she opened the txt and grinned. Jack was here! She was wearing tight jeans so she pulled on her chaps and boots. After zipping up her boots, she grabbed a hoodie and headed for the indoor arena. She nearly sprinted there, for her excitement was bubbling over. Before she went into the arena, she took a deep breath to calm herself. She slowly walked forward and leaned against the fence. Her eyes found Kayden and she nearly laughed out loud. The tall young man looked truly ridiculous riding the Welsh palomino. Her eyes swept over the pony and, even from this distance, she knew that he was a great horse. She lifted a hand in a wave as she watched Jake.

Hearing the sound of another horse's hooves, Andrew turned to see a guy around his age leading what looked like a welsh pony. As the guy walked closer Andrew recognized him. Andrew was a ripper and it was kind of part of that clique to atleast know who people were. Sahrugging, he stroked Romeo's sleek neck, not sure if this guy was going ride here during the lesson or not. Andrew wasn't very picky, so whatever. Hearing the guy speak, he looked over. THis was his trainer? Interesting. The guy looked about his age anyways. Well, he wasn't going to have a negative idea with the guy. Maybe Andrew was just used to have older trainers.
Hearing his words in asking for a warm up, Andrew gave a simple nod. Seeing him on top of the small pony, he gave a small snicker, but didn't make any comments. He was the trainer after all. Gathering his reins, Andrew pressed his legs against Romeo's sides asking for a trot. Snorting, the warmblood gelding easily picked up the two beat gait. As they moved along the fence, Andrew saw another girl standing there watching, not sure what she was doing, but focused back on Romeo. After doing two medium sized circles, Andrew tried asking Romeo to collect a bit, but didn't know how it would turn out. Tossing his head, Romeo just kept the same pace and wouldn't go on the bit. Andrew stopped asking and gave him a small pat. He did put some effort. THat was one thing Andrew had noticed when he first rode Romeo for the first time; collecting. They needed to work on that a bit. At the middle of the ring, Andrew asked for a change of directions, Romeo bending nicely. After one more lap in the other direction at the trot, Andrew did a small half halt with the reins, pressing his inside leg against the girth, and outside a bit behind the girth with a kissing sound. With a few more steps the two were cantering at a steady pace around the arena. After two laps, Andrew slowed Romeo back down to a walk and changed directions again. Once again the two picked up a trot, and soon were cantering again, only this time Romeo threw a buck as they started. Shaking his head, Andrew sat easily to the canter.
After two laps once again, he slowed the excited gelding back down. Romeo did seem to love to work, which was a good thing, just sometimes he got a bit too hyper at first. It was probably his age that affected that. Andrew stroked his neck, praising him. They walked back towards Kayden to see what he might say or ask of them to do next. Andrew knew that trainers were always going to point out things, or give critisism. It was a part of learning to ride. Andrew was used to it and took it in. Andrew had a feeling he would be getting more critisism because of Romeo, who was still only 4. With that in mind, he had the feeling it would be a bit harder for the lesson. Yes, Andrew could be wrong, but he couldn't hlep but think it.
((suggested posting order...Me, Kayden, Kaylin? Didn't know someone else owuld be coming to the lesson too lol))

Kayden watched the horse and rider pair, noting the excitement that caused the horses muscles to strain against the riders will. The horse bent nicely and the rider did a good job putting the horse through his paces. Kayden had picked up the trot and was trotting the pony around, allowing the horse’s nose to be drug nonchalantly along the ground. When Kayden was satisfied that the horse would not try and kill his student he halted the pony and brought him to a stop. “That was good Andrew. How old is the gelding?” Turning to Kaylin he nodded his head in Jack’s direction. “Wanna try him out?”

Andrew stood there waiting for Kayden to come out with many pointers on Andrew's riding or something. Andrew never really got mad at his trainers if they were getting frustrated with him, which wasn't very often, but still. He just learned ot sit and listen. Halting Romeo, he waited for him to speak. Well now that wasn't too bad. Only 4, so he still has his perks from what I've noticed before when riding him. he said to Kayden. Romeo bobbed his head as they stood there, Andrew stroking his neck. Looking over to the other girl, he waited to see get on the pony.
((sorry kaylin, took a few days to post so i'm going to post just to keep it up and going =) ))

Kaylin watched Andrew and Romeo for a few minutes. They worked well together. She turned her head slowly at Kayden's voice. Wanna try him out? Kaylin nodded once and quickly slid through the gate. She walked slowly towards Jack, grinning. She held out her hand to the pony, smiling slowly as he snuffed at her hand. She lightly pressed her hand to his muzzle before stroking his forehead, waiting for Kayden to dismount.
