ooc: this is a short thread
Kayden had been working all day, and when your covered in head to toe in dust, and have ridden already and taught, its hard to get motivated to do anything. So after grabbing a bottle of water and his laptop, Kayden sat down in an overstuffed chair in the barn office. Sighing he flipped open the pamphlet and began to look at the different horses for sale that were in the price range the school had given him - not much. There were so many things he needed to do. He had to worry about shows for him and his students, had to keep up his grades, find horses and take care of his own riding. Thinking about that he turned to the United States Equestrian Association omnibus and opened it up to the area that Canterbury was located in.
He really couldn't concentrate, so it wasn't long before he dismissed the omnibus and opened up a notebook. He really needed some ideas. Turning to the notebook he jotted down Ideas For Kayden's Lessons. Under this he put bullitens and posted it onto the bulliten board. He scribbled Lectures? and Community Handbook? and Demonstrations? under three bullitens hoping that students would be interested in one or the other. He really had never trained before, and it was a lot more work than he thought it would be.

So today at the barn was a 'lazy day' for Andrew. Well, probably not since Andrew had done quite a few chores for Romeo really. They had been riding for the past 3 days now and Andrew figured the both of them could use a small break. Romeo for sure did not seemed tired out or anything. In fact he seemed to be enjoying the riding and workouts. Getting her early, Andrew had let Romeo out in the pasture for awhile, while he organized his tack box, cleaned the tack, and what not. After done with all that, Andrew decided to give Romeo a nice little bath. It was pretty fun, seeing that both Romeo and Andrew had gotten soaked. Romeo certainly liked having fun while being bathed. After letting him dry off a bit, Andrew put him back into his stall, giving him a flake of hay. Good boy he said as Romeo nudged his back. Patting him, he locked the stall door, so that Romeo couldn't get out.
Before leaving, Andrew remembered that he had a packge in the barn office waiting for him. Andrew had ordered some more horse stuff for Romeo and hadn't realized it had come in. Walking towards the barn office, Andrew smiled as he saw all the different horse's heads popping out watching him. Horses were some pretty funny animals. Opening the door to the barn office, he saw some guy pretty much around the same age as him, he guessed. He really didn't think anyone was in the office. Oh, sorry. I didn't think anyone was in here The guy seemed to be very concentrated in whatever he was doing. I just needed to pick a package up he said simply.

Kayden had been relaxing slightly when a guy - approximately his age - came into the room. He smiled and nodded a greeting at the guy before hearing his words and nodding nonchalantly towards a package in the corner. "Over there." Kayden reached towards the desk and grabbed his lesson books - he needed to keep a running log of his students - much easier said then done. Kayden stifled a yawn and pulled out his cell phone - he had to leave to go pick up Jack, a pony he was bringing for one of his students, pretty soon or otherwise he wouldn't make it.

Andrew gave a small nod and walked over to where the guy said the package was at. Seeing the somewaht large package, Andrew went over to it, making sure it was his. So you go to CA or what? he asked seeing his name on the package. Picking it up, Andrew turned to face the guy. He didn't seem like he wanted to be bothered. Andrew wasn't going to be very long anyways. He just had to take everything out of the package and make sure it was all there. Then he his day at the barn was pretty much done, for today atleast.
((sucky post))

Kayden smiled at the guy and shrugged, ”Yeah, I just got here. So far it’s pretty boring besides the barn.” Kayden turned his head around and smiled lightly. ”So I’m guessing you ride?” It was a stupid question, of course, but Kayden was never much of a people’s person, you could say. He really disliked people, though since being here he found talking much easier. Obviously, as you can see my just talking to him, he was still awkward, but giving lessons on a regular basis was beginning to mellow him out. Kayden yawned and stood up, waiting for the guy, Andrew, to reply so that he could leave and get back to the dorm. He had to do something tonight.

Andrew nodded and laughed. Yeah, you're right in a way. The club is alright, I've been to better. Don't know if you are the paryting type though. he said looking at the guy. Andrew had seen him around the school once or twice but other than that, this was the first time they were talking. Hearing his question about if he rode or not, he nodded. Yeah I do. My last horse I owned got sold, so I ride the 4 year old warmblood, Romeo. he said in response. As much as he missed Corey and riding him, Andrew was happy with Romeo. Walking to the door, he stood at the entrance to it, seeing the other guy walk over also. Andrew by the way he saidwith a quick introduction.

Kayden grinned and waved, turning back for only a moment to finish speaking with the guy. "I'm Kayden Tristani, nice to meet ya. And Romeo's a nice one by the way. I've got Cadillac Cruise and Colorado Ryan. And technically Noteworthy and Small Stuff, but they're ridden by other people." Well, if Andrew hadn't known he was the trainer, he would know now. With this Kayden shrugged, "sorry, but i gotta go." With this he hurried out, he had to talk to Blake about the show this weekend, and if he didn't go ahead and get it out of the way, he would be stuck driving to Georgia with Cruz by himself.
