Teegan looked up at Caleb and took the napkin he'd handed her she wiped her eyes, and looked down at her hand when he'd touched her, she looked back up at his eyes when he began to speak, she was truly thankful that he wanted to listen to her, and that she was able to get that out- and finally be able to tell someone. She gave him a small smile when he told her that her mother was always there with her, through the thick and the thin, the good times and the bad. When he called her 'tee' a small giggle escaped her lips- I like that nickname alot better than girly-girl, she said in a joking tone.
Caleb- thanks for listening, she said touching his hand ever so gently this time- then she added- Your a really good friend. She smiled and moved her hand away and took a sip of her sprite, she was really glad to have Caleb as a friend, she trusted him now; and a good friend was what Teegan really needed. She wiped the napkin under her eyes, one last time all the tears finally gone; then smiled and said Don't worry my make-up isn't going to run- im not even wearing any, she said with a laugh- easing the tension that was between the conversation before; now her hopes were lifted and things were looking better.

Caleb watched her for a few more minutes before relaxing a bit, some of the tension leaving his strong shoulders. He ran his hands along his thighs, eyes drifting from her face to outside. The group of girls had dispersed and an older man, his hair greying, stood by the lamp post, staring out at the street. Caleb leaned his elbows on the table, hands flat down as he listened to her.
"Tee it is, then." His eyes blinked when she brushed her hand against his. He nodded slowly. "It was my pleasure. Honest. I'm happy you think of me as a friend." When she commented on her make-up - or lack thereof - he smiled thankfully as all the tension left his shoulders. "Good to know. I wouldn't want people thinking I'd upset you." His voice was gentle, an undercurrent of a joke running through his words.

Teegan finally picked up her slice of pizza again and took a few more bites out of it, and then took a small sip of her sprite which rested next to her pizza plate. She'd met a few people so far here at canterbury like her trainer Kayden, and another girl name jess, but she'd really cliqued, i guess you could say with Caleb, and she was really glad that she was able to make a really good friend like him.
To keep their conversation flowing, and getting them to talk about something other than her mothers death as they already discussed that, she asked him, So- do you have any siblings? She asked sweetly, she had one, but he still lived in Chicago; he didn't want to fly all the way to California just to go to school.

Caleb finished off his own slice of pizza as he crunched on the crust. He sipped some of his ginger ale before answering her question.
"Yeah, I have one sister. She's a little spitfire named Kaylin. For example, she met the new trainer yesterday but neither knew who the other was and it appears words were shared." Caleb shook his head in slight amusement, slight annoyance. His sister got herself into more than she could handle. "She's a freshman here at Canterbury. What about you? Any siblings?"

Teegan smiled as Caleb talked about his little sister Kaylin being a spitfire, and how she'd gotten herself into a bit of trouble and shared some words with the trainer before either knew who the other one was. Teegan couldn't help but laugh, I guess that makes two of us then, the same thing happened to me the other day. I get this attitude when I ride and I kind of let it get the better of me, and told him off before I knew who he was.
Teegan finished her pizza, but left the crust on her plate; yes awkward, she loved pizza but hated eating crust portion of it. Yeah, just one sibling. He's my twin brother; we're completely feternal twins, we look nothing alike and pretty much have nothing in common, except horses that it.

Caleb laughed as she talked about having an attitude while riding. Interesting. He listened with interest while she talked about her encounter with the trainer. He eyed her crust but refused to ask for it. He brought his eyes back to hers and smiled a slow, easy smile.
"Yeah, you remind me a bit of Kaylin. She's really a sweet girl, but sometimes her intentions are... misinterpreted. She's my little spitfire slugger. The one time some guy called her a bitch and she punched him right in the face. Broke the poor guy's nose." He smirked, eyes ablaze with pride. "Turns out she wasn't punching him for calling her horse, Broken Arrow, a lame excuse for a mare. She was plently furious with him." He leaned back in his chair.
"Do you miss him?"

Teegan gave a small smile in his direction when he said that she reminded him a bit of his younger sister, with their attitudes and such. She watched Caleb eye the left over crust on her plate, she gave a small giggle and told him If you want it, it's all yours, Teegan said with a smile, and pushed her plate to the middle of the table.
When he asked her if she missed her brother, she thought for a moment; I kinda miss him, I mean we always fought, and bickered like siblings do- she said with a small laugh but then added, But when I haven't seen him in awhile, yeah I miss him. She took a long sip of her sprite and finished it off; then she asked Caleb- So do you and your sister get along?

Caleb eagerly scooped up the crust, crunching into the hardened dough. He ate quickly, easily finishing her crust. He scooped up the plates and his ginger ale and dumped them. He didn't know if Teegan was finished with her Sprite. Soo he left it at the table. Coming back, he sat down and leaned forward, listening to her while he looked outside.
That's understandable. He was referring to her missing her brother even though they usually bickered. When she asked about Kaylin and him, he grinned. Kaylin's a great kid. We've been close forever. She needs to do a little growing up and dim her temper when it comes to the horses, but I admire her fierce love for them; she's like a mother. We do a lot together. He shrugged, not really wanting to admit that for the past week he hadn't said one word to Kaylin.

Teegan finished off her sprite and gotten up to dump it, then she returned to the table to listen to Caleb talk about his sister, she listened closely and couldn't help but smile a little bit. She noticed he was done- so she asked, You wanna head out? She looked out the window briefly then returned her gaze to Caleb. The ride on his motorcycle before had been so much fun and given her such an adreniline rush.

Caleb grinned at her when he saw her glance at his bike. He stood and waited for her to join him before going out to the bike and handing her a helmet. He pulled his on and lifted the visor. Where to?

Teegan walked outside along side of Caleb to his harley out front, she couldn't help but smile- she went ahead and pulled his spare helmet on over her mess of blonde curly wavy hair. You could just take me back to my truck, or unless you still wanted to hangout we can go where ever. She liked choice B better, but it was up to Caleb to decide.

Caleb threw his leg over the Harley and stood there for a moment, waiting for Teegan to put her helmet on and climb on behind him. He smiled at her words. Playfully, he said, I don't know if I could handle any more of you, Tee. He lightly laughed, eyes sparkling. Nah, I'm still up for some fun. Come on, climb on. I'll be your chauffeur for the day. Where would you like to go? All he needed was a new place and they'd be there within minutes... unless it was farther away. He smiled at her, awaiting her answer.

Hey! Teegan said to him, as he said he wouldn't be able to any more of her for the day, then she playfully hit him in the arm- then gave him a grin to let him know she was just kidding.
Teegan then took the helmet as Caleb handed it to her, she stuffed her blonde curly wavy hair back into the helmet and climbed on behind Caleb and wrapped her arms around his waist. Where ever you want to go is fine, we could just drive around town; see the sites, she said with a smile and a small laugh. Where ever they went was fine, she just wanted to talk some more, get to know him a little bit more.

Caleb smirked and settled into the seat. He stood the bike up, kicked back the kickstand, and turned the key. The soft purr brought a smile to his face. I have an idea. Hold on!
ill make the next thread!
