The gate to the ring swung open with a loud squeak and Jenna's new mount, Tiger, danced at the end of his reins. His black coat shimmered in the afternoon sunlight and Jenna stopped yet again to admire the big, andalusion stallion. Easy, bud, Jenna said, patting his thick neck. The two entered the ring and Jenna closed the gate behind them. She checked the girth on her black, Wintec saddle, tightening it two notches. She put the reins over the stallion's head as he snorted and sniffed the air, ears pinned forward. Ready boy? she asked, getting his attention with her voice.
Jenna felt Tiger tense as she lifted herself into the saddle and situated herself. The stallion began to dance again, leaning on the bit and asking to go. Jenna held him back for a moment as she tightened her helmet and then squeezed him lightly. Tiger jumped forward into a canter, but his rider was prepared for that and turned him in a small circle until he came down to a walk. Tiger reminded Jenna of her horse back home; always wanting everything his way and always ready to go. The pair began to walk around the outside of the arena, Jenna constantly checking him to keep him slow.

Teegan had had her first english lesson yesterday, and from the comments she'd recieved from Kayden she wasn't half bad, it helped that she'd had lots of expieriance riding, just not riding english. She'd ridden western for over 10 years of her life. She'd saddled Dev up her western saddle, and his english bridle- she'd still praticed her posting and her changing directions, it was just more comfortable in her western saddle; and she wasn't in a lesson so it wasn't as important. She took the reins over Dev's head and procedded to lead him to the outdoor arena, where she saw another rider on a large black andalusion, she gave a slight smile and headed down the path to the ring.
She stood at the gate a moment then spoke being sure not to scare either horse or rider, Mind if i join you? she asked. She wasn't sure how the other riders horse was with other horses; so she thought she'd ask to be sure before she let herself into the ring.

Tiger picked up an easy trot when Jenna urged him forward. His gait was smooth and his strides long. The rider let him extend for a minute, but then collected him and did a 20 meter circle, avoiding the jumps that were set up in the arena. She patted his neck and rode to X where she changed her diagonal and worked him in the other direction. Soon, she brought the Andalusion down to walk.
Jenna looked up as a voice reached her ears. Tiger swiveled his ears toward the voice and his rider looked over. Sure, come on in, Jenna replied with a smile. I'm Jenna. She halted the stallion a safe distance from the other horse and rider and took her reins in one hand, resting the other on her leg. Jenna had only had Tiger in the ring with another horse once before so she didn't want to get him too close.

Thanks, Teegan said sweetly to the other girl, then pushed the gate open and walked Dev in, and halted him in the middle of the ring, she stood on his left side and peered over her saddle, I'm Teegan- and this is Dev, she said patting his shoulder, then adding It's nice to meet you. She tigthened the cinch on her saddle and with two hops off the ground she easily swung her self up and into the saddle patting Dev's neck once more. Maybe if she treated him better he would pull anything like he did the other day when she'd gotten in a word fight with Kayden before she'd even realized that he was her trainer, big mistake. Teegan asked the gelding to then walk forward with a slight nudge of her heal, she picked up her reins english style between her pinky and thumb like Kayden had taught her- she wondered what the other girl would think of her, english bridle western saddle- that wasn't something you saw everyday. So, what grade are you in? Teegan asked the other girl.
