Andie had been here for only a few weeks, and barely knew anyone. She decided that today was the day to finally get out of her boring dorm and find someone to talk to. Sighing, she grabbed her purse that had her cell-phone, money, keys, etc. Then, Andie walked down the halls and down to the parking lot, and headed towards her SUV(click). She grabbed her keys from her purse, and held down a button, unlocking the doors. Grabbing the handle, she pulled it and stepped inside on the driver's side. She put both feet in, and ajusted her seat so she could reach the peddles. After that, she closed the door and then put her key in the slot and turned it to the right. She then let go of the key as the engine roared. She buckled up, then hit the gas peddle, and made her way to Fabio's pizzeria.
After driving for about 5-10 minutes she finally arrived. Turning on her left turning signal, Andie turned into Fabio's Pizzeria parking lot. It wasn't hard to find a spot. There was only 5-6 cars in the parking lot, and there were at least 30 parking slots. Pulling into a parking spot near the door, Andie cut the engine, and got out of her car. She locked the car doors, then headed inside the pizzeria.
She slipped into an empty booth, looking around at the other vacant tables. As a waitress came over to her, she ordered 1 thin crust, cheese pizza. The waitress wrote it down, then headed off towards the kitchen. Andie had wanted to make new friends today, but so far it seemed like a slim chance that that was going to happen. Sighing, she just looked around, hoping that someone would walk in that door, and would come and talk to her.

Sitting up in his bed, Blake turned and looked at his clock. 11:30 Am. Damn. He thought silently as he stood up and stretched, his arms going up above his head for a few seconds before coming down. Yawning, he slippin on a pair of a jeans and a solid navy blue shirt. Looking in the mirror he brushed a hand through his hair, then grabbed a random hat that was by the door. With the hat, he grabbed his wallet and keys before opening the door and walking down the hall towards his car, which was pretty sucky. It was nice little green Durango, but, he would take what he could get.
Entering the car, he contemplated of where to go as he started the engine. What was he feeling for lunch? Hmm. Pizza. Backing out, he headed out towards Fabio Pizza. He hadn't been in town long, met a few people but none he wanted to meet again. Stifling a yawn, he smoothly parked his car as he arrived at the Pizza place. It wasn't very busy seeing as only a few cars were there. Stepping out of the car, he shut the door and locked the car, stuffed his wallet and keys in his pocket as he walk in.
Immediately when he walked in he turned his head and took a quick look at the people inside. Green eyes wandered from person to person, but were drawn back to one person, a girl in an empty booth. Smiling his half-smile, he turned and walked towards the booth, his shoes giving a little squeak on the floor as he slowed down next to the table, resting one hand on the table. "Hey, I'm Blake. Anyone sitting with you?" He looked down at her, a little of his white teeth showing as he spoke, waiting for a response, one that would allow him to sit down.

Andie had been sitting there for at least 5 minutes now. Does it really take that long to make one slice of pizza? she thought to herself. Her brown eyes wandered around the pizzeria. She sighed, getting impatient. All she wanted was one slice of pizza. Just one. And to her, it shouldn't take that long to make just one slice of pizza.
Andie then looked back at the sound of squeeking shoes. She saw a guy, taller then her. From first sight, she did think he was very cute. A small smile tugged on her lips. Her eyes quickly looked away, since she didn't want him to catch her staring at him. Andie looked around, finding a young looking blond at a table by herself. Must be his girlfriend Andie figured. And when he was headed towards her, she was surprised. Looking up at him as if she hadn't noticed him yet, that same smile came back.
Hey, I'm Blake. Anyone sitting with you he asked her. At first, Andie couldn't believe it. It was like it was her lucky day. She had decided to come out to meet people, and she gets stuck with just about the hottest guy she had ever seen. But she was no about to complain. Hey Brad, I'm Andrea. she first said. Then she added, No one's sitting here. You can sit down if you would like Andie spoke, a smile appearing, showing off her white teeth. She waited for him to sit down before she spoke anymore.

Gaze looked at the girl over once more, she was cute, but he hadn't really seen her yet, just her sitting down. Quickly, he looked around, there was a blonde in another corner, but he liked to stay away from the blondes for the most part. Attention returned back to the girl, smile growing a bit as she responded, Andrea. In fact, he was a bit suprised that she was alone, he figured most girls in this place would be taken. Meeting an attractive single girl who wouldn't mind him sitting down, he wouldn't mind at all.
With one fluid motion, he turned to the booth seat and slid into the booth, the easy and confident smile returning to his face as he looked at from the front, and now it wouldn't be considered staring, it'd be eye contact. She had a nice face, more attractive than most, definitely. For a second he was speechless, something that never happened to Blake. So, Andrea.. He repeated her name, flashing another smile towards her. How long have you been in this area? For once, he felt he made the right decision in coming out for pizza.

Most of the guys Andie had ever known had always gone for the blondes. They had actually stayed away from the brunettes, except for some guys. And Andie guessed he was one of those "some guys". It really got annoying the Andie though, the blondes who pretend to act dumb. But the truth is, no guys like that. Well, unless they are dumb too.
Her smile grew a little wider too, Andie almost thought she was blushing, which WOULD be very embarrasing. She prayed to god that her cheeks were not turning the shade of pink. And if that was happening, and he noticed, she would probably run out of the pizzeria screaming. Just as he began speaking, her pizza was finally done. She exchanged the slice with a 5, and took the change and put it in her wallet. After putting her wallet back in her purse, she spoke right after he finished saying So, Andrea Andie said, You can call me Andie, if you want most people did call her Andie, it had been her nickname since, like, forever actually.
Andie tried to think of when she arrived. It had not been a month. What? Maybe, two weeks ago? Andie tried to think, and soon said, I have only been here for about, 2 weeks I think. What about you? after finishing off her sentence, Andie took her pizza in her hands and took just a small bite of the tip of it. She normally did not eat a lot, especially not in front of a guy.

Andie, a cute little nick name. It fit her well, he liked it better than Andrea even. As the Waitress came over nad momentarily interuppted them, he decided to take that oppurtunity and order something. Hey! Can I get a coke and 3 pieces of pepperoni pizza? That was his lunch for today, hey, the man needed to eat. He eyes Andie's piece and his stomach just turned and growled even more. The waitress nodded and walked away. Taking his mind of the pizza was Andrea's response.
Like him, she hadn't been here too long. He closed his eyes for a split second longer than usual as he thought back. Hmm. Maybe a week. Shoulders shrugged a bit as he spoke, he wasn't really sure. He wasn't too thrilled with the area yet, but he promised to give it a chance, so he was. And, things were beginning to look up.Once again, he felt drawn to the pizza, she had only eaten a tiny bit. He knew she wasn't anorexic, but probably just didn't want to appear like a pig at the moment, whatever. So, what do you do around here for fun since you've bee ere a week longer? He chuckled, knowing she probably didn't do much more than he did, which was just get settled.

Andie continued to take little nibbles of her pizza. Eventually, she had about half of it done just as his order came. She looked at it all. She was not about to consider him to be a pig or fatty or anything though. I mean, Blake is a guy. And guys always stuff there faces. It is just, normal for them right? So, all Andie did was just smile at him.
Her eyes remained focusing on him. He truly was really cute. No, Andie is not anorexic. But from her weight, sometimes to people she appears to be. They think that because of the bones you can see, and how little she always eats. But, whatever. That was their opinion and she doesn't really care what anyone thinks about her. There was a small silence. All you could hear between there conversation was the sound of the munching of pizza, and Blake slurping(not loud though) down his coke.
After awhile, all that wsa left of her pizza was the crust. She began munching on that as Blake then began to finally speak. What had she done fun so far? Um.. nothing. Well, unless you consider unpacking fun, nothing. Andie said, giggling a little bit. Little by little Andie worked on eating the crust. There was another silence. Andrea was never good at conversations.

Momentarily, the waitress returned with his three slices, and his coke. Blake knew it would be good, probably because he was famished. He hadn't eaten since last night, but had also only woken up about twnety minutes. Quickly, he glanced at his watch, not that he had anywhere to be, like he thought, 11:50 AM. Reaching for his drink, he took a quick sip before picking up his first slice of pizza. They were fairly small slices, so he ate the first one quick, and was on the second one when Andie responded to his question. He gave a small nod in agreement as he finished his second pizza, but waited to start, and finish his third pizza. He picked up his coke, took a swig, then placed it back down on the booth as he opened his lips to respond to her. I haven't touched too many of my boxes..yet. I've gone out, met a few people, but no one worth recalling. He contemplated the discussion of horses, he knew a lot of kids here rode horses, one reason he came here. Reaching for his third slice, he took a bit, chewed and swallowed before speaking again. What did you do fun before you came here? He drew his pizza back to his mouth as he waited for her to respond.

Andie continued eating the crust as he spoke. Soon enough, it was all gone. She had finally finished it, after what seemed like 20 minutes. Well, she didn't really care how slow she ate. As long as she didn't have to leave to go somewhere, she didn't need to bother rushing. Andie swallowed and grabbed a nearby clean napkin, wiping her lips with it so there was no cheese or sause or anything on them.
I haven't finished unpacking though. I think I only have a few boxes left, I think. once again, she giggled as she finished off her sentence. Most guys thought her giggle was cute, and some guys thought it was annoying. She just hated how there are two groups of guys. One with a positive opinion, and one with a negative one. That always annoyed her. When he asked her what fun things she did before coming here, she thought. Well, she had been horseback riding since like forever. The most exciting, fun, thing would probably be cross country. Well, I do cross-country. That is really fun. What about you? she asked him. When the waitress came by, Andie stopped her, and asked her for a coke. The waitress headed off, and Andie reached for her purse to grab money, again.

A couple more bites and he devoured his last pizza. Picking up his drink, he finished it in one more sip. He pulled out a five and a ten, figuring that would take care of the pizza, soda, and tip. If it didn't he could pull out more. But he didn't really want to. Patiently he listened to her, silently wishing he hadn't procrastinated unpacking his boxes, he wanted to be done with it. Feel as if it was his home, even if it wasn't.
Her next words were the ones that interested her the most, cross country. Horseback riding. Perfect. Small smile drew across his lips again as he leaned against the back of the booth seat, appearing at total ease. Sure they were done eating, but what else did he have planned? And, if she had something planned she could leave easily. He gave a small sound of his amusement as he thought of how to answer her question. Girls like you are what opened the gateway to what I do for fun. He paused, letting her think about it before continuing. I do Eventing, it started as a way to meet girls, but then I enjoyed it, and stuck with it. He hoped she wouldn't take it the wrong way, but he never lied. And it usually made for a good laugh.

Andie could swear she was blushing now. He just called her pretty. She smiled, giggling a little bit too. She did laugh a lot, which a lot of guys thought was adorable. And again, some believed to be annoying. Once the waitress came back with Andie's coke, Andie already had 3 dollars out. And again, Andie took the change and put it in her wallet, then put her wallet away in her purse. She then begin taking little sips of her coke.
When he first told her he did eventing to meet girls, that was kind of a turn off for her. But when he continued, and said he enjoyed it, she didn't take it the wrong way anymore. Well, I always enjoy watching guys like you wearing breeches and tall boots she smiled a little bit. At first, Andie had always thought it was weird seeing guys in that attire. But, she got used to the site. The "horrible" site, as she calls it. Because she doesn't really enjoy seeing guys with breeches on. Andie doesn't care if they were jeans or something though. After that, she just continued to sip on her drink, getting it almost half done in about 5 minutes.

For once, he refrained from chuckling as he did. He felt proud of himself, not really, but he could imagine. He complimented girls a lot of the time, some deserved it, like her, while others didn't. He maintained his half for a few moments at her laugh, which was cute like her. He didn't quite agree with what she said, he had breeches and tall boots and only wore them when absolutely necessary. He preferred riding jeans and chaps. I personally prefer jeans and chaps any day, but I know you'd watch me no matter what. But, breeches can be very fitting, on guys and girls. It may come off a little..conceited. But it was all in good natured fun. Now at least they had a common topic to discuss - eventing. I'm assuming that cross-country is your favorite discipline? He agreed with that, second came staduim, then dressage. He understood the importance of dressage, he just preferred cross country because it was open.

Andie continued to sip down on her coke. This was just about the third silence. But this one, at least, did not last for very long. Finally, he began talking. But he didn't say much before she had to reply back. She tried to think of what to say. It didn't take her very long. She took her lips off the straw, swallowed what she had of coke in her mouthm then began to speak.
Hm, I actually usually wear my breeches and tall boots all the time. I don't usually ride with jeans or chaps Andrea said, smiling a bit. Well, yeah cross-country is my favorite dicipline she said. Andie didn't want another silence, so she began to speak just a little more. But I have only done it for about 3 years. The other.. she faded off, trying to think of how many years she had ridden for. But when the number of years didn't come to mind, she just continued with, ..years of riding I did were mainly hunter//jumper. And in my whole life.. I have only ridden like.. 3 or 4 different horses. Which is weird since I have been riding for a while.. Andrea drifted off, not wanting to keep on going on and on and seems like after a while of knowing a person she talks forever, since that wasn't her at all. So, instead, she continued to work on finishing her coke, and wait for him to talk.

He drummed his fingers on the table counter a little bit, it was a bit of a habit at this point. One hand smoothly reached up and pulled his hate from left to right to keep it in place before lowering it back down and resting on his coke, waiting for the Waitress to come over and get him a refill, they were free...
Then, Andie began to speaking not moments later, he gave a small nod, his eyes staying on her face to show his rapt attention on her. He was glad she enjoyed cross-country, most people were scared of it, but liked it more than dressage. He couldn't imagine enjoying Dressage. I've only been riding about 4 years, and all I ever really did after I learned the basics was to start to Event. I immediately enjoyed cross-country the most. The jumps are bigger, bolder, solid, and in the open. Of course she knew that, but those were his reasons. He was a bit suprised that she had only ever ridden a few horses, he'd ridden too many to even count. Damn. I've never been on a single horse for more than about a month, I always changed cause I rode for other people who were either injured, out on vacation, or the horse was avaliable for the show I wanted to enter..

Andie noticed him drumming on the tables. It wasn't annoying to her, her cousins did the same thing. After that, she began with her bad habit.. tapping her fingers on the table. She did do that a lot. Andie had soon finished her coke, and when the waitress came by and asked if they needed anything, Andie gave her the glass but told her just to take it. Andie wasn't that thirsty, so she had no need for a refill.
You've only been riding for 4 years? Andie repeated after him. He looked more muscular then just riding for 4 years. She figured that he worked out almost every day. After he talked about the jumps in cross-country, Andie said, Yeah. I enjoy cross-country, but I have always wanted to try show jumping. The jumps look so big and it looks so fun. She smiled a bit, and continued on tapping her fingers. I mean, I have ridden a lot of horses. But I have mainly only rode 2 horses in my life. The others, I only rode maybe 3 or 4 times. Andie had always been riding her horse, Angel. Then, she had been riding Red for awhile. The only time she rode a different horse was usually when a horse needed to be excersized, or if a horse misbehaved and they needed an advanced rider to get on them and teach them a lesson.
