[Kaylin Camrak]

Kaylin held Puzzle's reins in one hand, keeping her other hand resting on his shoulder. It was only her first time riding the young gelding, but she had already fallen head over heels for him. She easily opened the outdoor arena's gate and lead Puzzle into the ring. She spoke softly to him, her voice gentle and friendly. Kaylin swiftly checked his girth to be sure it was snug. She came to stand infront of Puzzle, stroking his muzzle with one hand.

"Ready, boy?"

His answering nicker made Kaylin grin as she patted him once more before sliding one booted foot into the stirrup and springing up, using her strong arms to pull herself up and over Puzzle's firm back. She settled easily into the Western saddle as she moved the reins from one hand to both. She clicked her tongue and urged Puzzle into an easy walk. She wanted to get a feel for the gelding before trying anything else - such as bareback. She grinned at the thought.

After a few laps around the arena at a walk, Kaylin used her heels to apply a slight pressure to Puzzle's sides, urging him to trot. Puzzle leapt forward before relaxing into the smooth gait. Kaylin, a bit jousled from Puzzle's sudden lurch, shook her head, but smiled all the same. She knew Puzzle would be interesting, and this was just one of his traits. She continued through the different gaits until they seemed to be flying around the arena. Well, she could say at least one thing for Puzzle - he was very fast. Much faster than Broken Arrow had been, as fast as the unruly stallion Tempest was.

"Woooah, Puzzle."

Puzzle slowed to a walk before coming to a halt. She patted his side and was gleeful to notice that he wasn't even sweating or breathing hard. It was as if he'd just stepped out of his stall. Awesome! That meant longer rides. She grinned, wildly excited. She slid off of his back and pressed her cheek to his.

"Good boy, Puzzle. You were great." She pulled back a bit. "We're going to try something new now, okay?" Puzzle bobbed his head, causing Kaylin's eyebrows to raise. Interesting. Just as she was pulling off his saddle, Kaylin heard footsteps behind her. She turned to see who it was.

[Peyton James]

Peyton walked to the barn. It was a nice day for a ride. She smiled as she reached May's stall. Ready for a ride? She asked May. She slipped into the stall and put the lime green halter on the horse. She opened the stall door and lead May out. She tyed her up and waited started to saddle May. First the lime green blanket, then the english saddle. Once May was bridled she lead the way out of the barn the horse following closely behind. The clip clopping of hooves echoed the aisle as they passed by the ohter horses. May neighed a greeting to a few selected horses. Probably her pasture buddies. Peyton thought to herself.

The sunshine greeted Peyton as they entered the outdoors. Peyton thought about climbing up then but decided against it. She headed to the outdoor arena and smiled. This was going to be fun. When she reached the gate she noticed there was someone already in the areana. Oh, umm I didnt know anyone was in here but do you mind if I ride with you? Peyton asked. By the way I'm Peyton. Peyton smiled. She put her hand on May's long head. If the girl didnt want her to ride she totally understood. She would just head for the trails. She looked at the girl and waited before entering. You have a beautiful horse. Peyton said. She smiled and waited.

[Kaylin Camrak]

Turning, Kaylin met the gaze of an older girl. She patted Puzzle lightly and told him to stay put. With easy steps, she walked over to the girl and her mare. A friendly smile on her face, she leaned against the fence. She reached out a slender hand for the girl's horse to smell. She didn't want to frighten the animal after all. She laughed softly at the girl's words, not meanly, however.

"That won't be necessary. Puzzle is good around other horses." Glancing at Puzzle to be sure he was still standing where she'd left him, Kaylin grinned. Puzzle had swung his head around and was watching the exchange with interest. "And thanks. Yours is a real beauty, too." She tilted her head, smiling. "I'm Kaylin, and he's Puzzle." She gestured to the five-year-old gelding. She pushed open the gate. "Come on in."

[Peyton James]

Peyton smiled at the girl. Thank you. Peyton said as she opened the gate and walked through it. She climbed up on May. May took a few steps but otherwise everything was all good. Peyton smiled. She loved riding, she didnt know what she would do without it. You riding bareback? Peyton asked her. Peyton liked to ride bare back but only at the beach. She wanted to jump today so she was leaving the saddle on. She hadnt really jumped high but she wanted to be able to work her way up there. She wasnt going to push May like she did with her horses at home. Those horses knew the routine and she knew how high they could jump. May was new to her so she didnt know.

[Kaylin Camrak]

Kaylin smiled at Peyton as she walked towards Puzzle, eyes shining with happiness. She pushed herself onto Puzzle and sat comfortably on his firm back. She lightly tapped her heels to his barrel and swung him around, leading him a safe distance from May. She nodded at Peyton's question. I love bareback, but I know Western and English as well. She guided Puzzle in a tight circle, holding on with her knees, as she quickly switched to a zigzag for a few feet before moving the reins to make the gelding prance in place. She smiled as she patted his shoulder, turning back to Peyton.

Peyton smiled as she nudged May into a trot. She guided her around the ring slightly and then stopped at Kaylin again. Yea I ride mostly English. Peyton said to her. She looked around the arena. What was she going to do. Practice dressage? Yea that sounded good. She imagined the arena like it was set up for dressage. She picked May up into a trot and then did some moves. She tryed a flying change on May. Peyton smiled as May performed what she was asked. Normally Peyton had to work with her horses to get them to do what she wanted. She ran her fingers through May's mane. Tonight I'm going to braid your mane and your tail! Peyton said.

She had it all planned out even the colors. She was going to do them in pink and green. Peyton had a whole trunk of colored rubberbands, ribbons and other braiding supplies. She also had different colored wraps to wrap the legs. Peyton liked to have a wide variety of colors instead of the normal colors. Pink, green, and orange were her favorite colors. If she saw anything in pink she would buy it espcially if it was for horses. Peyton stopped daydreaming as May moved sidesways a couple of steps. Peyton looked over toward Kaylin. Sorry, I dont mean to ignore you. I just catch myself daydreaming a lot. Peyton said to her.
