sample post: Dedra was angry a bit about this. A new dorm, new dorm mate, new every things. Brentwood was redone and now they had a co-ed dorms for the juniors and seniors. A downside, was she had to get a new dorm mate. Last time, her dorm mates came and went, and maybe this one would be the same. Dedra didn't get to find out who it was, but god she hoped it was anyone but the one person she hated, who hated her back, Allyce.

Allyce was Pete's ex-girlfriend, which is how they grew to not like each other. Plus Allyce is the popular one and Dedra is just a normie. It is mainly the girlfriend thing though. Now, Pete is Dedra's boyfriend and sometimes Dedra isn't too sure what they might be doing behind her back.

Once Dedra got to her Dorm Building, they gave her her room key and dorm number, dorm number 2. Pete had told her that he was in Dorm Number 1 with Ryan, so they would be close to each other this way. Dedra walked down halls and finally, the dorms came right before her eyes. Dorm number 1, and then right across was dorm number 2. Dedra took the key and slipped it into the slot and turned it, grabbed the knob which she also turned, and opened it. She took out the key and slipped it into her pocket and pulled her suitcases, that had been dragging behind her, into the dorm. It looked nicer then the last one she had, would was a plus side. She closed the door and walked around, seeing no one in there.

Dedra went into the bedroom. Both beds were made with a gray sheet, gray comforter, and gray pillow cases over the pillows. 'Dull' is what Dedra thought of them. She went ahead and took the bed by the window. She took a glance outside and watched cars going by. Then she set down her suitcases and began unpacking. She put her stuff on hangers and put them in one of the 2 closets. The one she took was right across from her bed. She took out the few pairs of shoes she had, maybe 5 to 7 of them, but she wasn't going to bother counting.

Once she was done, she had to do something to the bed, and the empty desk to the left of it, from where she was standing at the end of the bed. She took off the comforter, sheets, and pillow cases. She replaced all of it with sky blue sheets and pillow cases, and a black comforter. As for the desk, she placed her laptop in one of the draws and put 2 pictures of Pete and her on the left and right corner at the top of the desk. One was them when they were about 5, and one was from present day. Dedra smiled and looked at both. It seemed like they both hadn't changed, except for their heights. That seemed like the only difference. Dedra had changed her hair many times, and in the present day picture it was black. But now it is brown, which is the color hair she was born with.

Dedra still had other things to put on her desk, just little things like a necklace that was her great grandmothers. She immediately picked it up and placed it around her neck. It had been passed down to her grandmother, to Dedra's mom, and now to her. It was a golden cross with a small ruby planted in the middle. The cross was attached to a golden chain that snapped in the back to make it stay on. Dedra walked over to the window and just looked outside, her back to the entrance of the bedroom. She awaited for her room mate to come. [[[From another site]]]

physical appearance: Tanner has a dark chocolate brown colored hair that falls down a few inches past her shoulders. She does curl her hair often, but her hair is actually naturally straight. Her eyes match her hair, also a dark chocolate brown. The unique thing about her is that about 1 inch away from the right side of her nose, is a freckle. Her mom says that is something unique about her. Tanner has no other freckles, and currently no zits.

Tanner has never been the tallest one. She is the shortest in her family, and the shortest out of all of her friends too. Her height is 5'4, which sometimes she doesn't like. Sometimes, it does get annoying to her, being so short. But she is able to ride the ponies, and horses, which she likes. Tanner currently weighs 108 which is considered normal for her height. She weighs a shoe size 6, since she has a small body she has small feet.

Tanner usually only wears a little mascara and some lip gloss for make-up. She really isn't one that wears a lot of it, because she likes the way she looks.
clothing style: Tanner isn't a girl who dresses up all fancy and everything. She doesn't normally wear dresses or skirts. She settles for jeans or shorts, depending on the weather. When she rides, she wears her breeches no matter what the weather. As for her top, she usually wears a short sleeve shirt, tank top, or a short sleeve shirt with a sweatshirt over it. When Tanner is just in her dorm relaxing, she will just wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt, most likely.

personality: Tanner doesn't really have a bad temper. Being in the sweethearts, she is a sweetheart, right? On some days things may bring out her bad side, like being thrown off a horse or something, or if she falls off and break her leg (which hasn't happened for awhile, actually, never). But she usually lives up to the name, sweetheart. Though sometimes, she can be a brat..

Tanner is nice to everyone. She isn't really into jocks. Well, the jocks that are jerks at least, though some are actually really nice. When Tanner is happy, which is almost every day, she smiles a lot. She also laughs a lot to. Sometimes, Tanner can be a brat though. On certain days, she has to get everything she wants. If she doesn't, sometimes she does start yelling. But rarely is she a brat.

history: Tanner's life began 16 years ago in the state of Alabama. She already had a sister and a brother, and would always be the youngest in her family. Growing up, she did gymnastics. She started when she was 3, and ended when she was 6, and had realized that then, she wanted to do horseback riding. She had also stopped because of how dangerous she had realized it was. While doing Gymnastics for 3 years, Tanner had broken her ankle, and sprained her wrist. Tanner thinks that because she started gymnastics at such a young age, that is what affected her height.

As soon as Tanner began riding, she had realized she had loved the sport. 8 years later, Tanner got her first horse. The horse was a beautiful Thoroughbred. She had named the horse Kay, and loved her to death. Tanner had started off with hunter jumper, and soon started to be trained to do cross-country.

Tanner's parents had heard about Canterbury. Once they saw how much she was into it, she figured that going to a riding school would be good for her, even though it meant she had to leave Kay home. When Tanner's parents enrolled her and told her, Tanner was shocked. It was hard for her to leave Kay. Once they were finally gone, Tanner had burst into tears. She drove with her dad to California and is now here to go to Canterbury.

riding experience: Tanner started riding at the age of 6, so has been riding for 10 years this year. She has only had one horse in her 10 years of riding. Her horse is Kay, a 7 year old Thoroughbred. Tanner worked on flat and hunter jumping with Kay for 1 year. Then, her parents enrolled her to learn Cross Country. That is the discipline she does now, but still does hunter too.
