So maybe it wasn't a love at first sight kind of deal, but it was certainly a strange way to meet your horse! Bandit, a notorious hard-head, had just finished promptly jostling the groom who'd decided to exercise him off and was headed for the paddock when he ran into Ashlynn. Almost literally. A quick step to the side was all that saved the two from one heck of a collision. He spun around on his heel quickly and snorted, giving the girl a look that clearly said "pfft." This did two things. Annoyed Ashlynn, yet intrigued her all the same. Giving him a slight grin, she stepped forward and stroked his nose gently.
This was one awkward way to start a friendship.
