Levi smiled at her still. Yea actually I have one full sister and a half sister an 11 year old which is my full sister her name is Kasey and a half sister who is 2 which names is Jasmine. Levi thought about his younger sister Jasmine. She was the reason that Levi had to get out of the house and come to another school. Jasmine wasnt his fathers kid... and it was a long story that Levi didnt want to think about. His father seperated from his mother for a while but when Jasmine was born he took her back. That was two years ago and Jasmine is living proof of the stuff that happened. She was always there. Levi tried to forget and just think of Jasmine as his full sister but he thought it was a low thing his mother did.
Levi shook his head at the past. How old are your brothers? Levi asked her. If she wanted to knwo more about his family he would tell her. He didnt keep things a secret but he kept other peoples secrets. He put his hands in his pockets but still managed to smile at her. He needed to get over the fact that his mom did a bad thing. He just never wanted to talk about it with his friends at home or his family. Maybe now was the time but would she think he was stupid?

Jackie felt the small staying in place through their entire conversation; she liked being able to openly about talk about her family with someone else. She listened intently while he talked about have a full sister and a half sister. She'd always wondered what if would've been like growing up with sisters, or if she'd been the oldest instead of being the youngest; but she loved her older brothers, and couldn't imagine life without them.
Well my brother Jake- he goes here to canterbury too, he's 17 going on 18. My second oldest brother Mike, he's 19; then there's Matt who's 20. And me the youngest at 16, she told him with a small giggle. But my brothers have always been there rough housing with me, so they've made me a tough girl. She said with another small laugh; she truly was a tough girl; for what she'd been through having three older brothers. So where did you live before moving to California to come to Canterbury? she asked him; she wondered how far some students had really traveled. She'd known that Cole and his sister traveled all the way from Ohio. Jackie on the other had my the huge trek of only one state away, wow.

Levi smiled at her. He enjoyed talking to her and telling her about himself. He enjoyed hearing about her also. I bet your brothers are pretty protective over you since your the youngest. Levi said. He felt the same over his sisters. He didnt mean to but sometimes he just did. He wondered what it was like to have a brother of his own where they could toss a football with or something like that. That probably was never going to happen though.
I'm from Nebraska. Levi said. He was ready to leave such a small town let alone a state that people have hardly heard of or could find it on a map. What about you? Where are you from? Levi asked. His cousin came clear from Kentucky to come to Canterbury. She was having a pretty tough time herself with her mom being at rehab and all. Levi looked at her to see where she was from and to hear more about her.

When Levi said that they were all probably very protective over her, her mind drifted off to her oldest brother Matt for a moment- even though he wasn't the smartest of them all; he always wanted the best for Jackie; and he was always looking out for her. Jackie snapped back into reality and smiled at then said; with the three of them being so protective over me, you better watch out. She said it with a smile then stuck out her lime green slippered foot and nudged his leg slightly, to let him know that she was just teasing him.
She listened as he spoke about being from Nebraska before moving out to the sunny state of California. I made the huge trek from one state away, from Arizona, her voice filled with sarcasm. But yeah, I lived in the hot, dry air of Arizona; that's where I've lived all of my life.

Levi laughed as what she said about her brothers. Yikes I better be careful. Levi said laughing. As she nudged his leg he took a glanse at the green slippers. Dude those are awesome! Levi said looking at them. He hadnt noticed them before. They were all fuzzy and lime green. He had seen the a pair just like them some place before except in a different color. Actually Kasey attacked him with her bright blue ones before he left. Levi smiled at the thought.
Arizona. Wow. I've never been there but I think it would be a cool place to visit! Levi said. Now Nebraska wasnt exactly a tourist attraction. He always wanted to go to Kentucky where his cousin had been to see all the farms that were there. He looked into her eyes and smiled. He really enjoyed being around her. I had to get away from home. It was just becoming to stressful to me. Canterbury was the first place my parents found and then I was gone. Levi said not telling the whole story. Do you have a reason you came to Canterbury or just for fun? Levi asked her. His eyes shined as he asked her the questions.

A wide grin spread across Jackie's face when Levi had noticed her lime green fuzzy slippers and said 'dude those are awesome!' When she heard Levi, talking how 'cool' Arizona must be couldn't help her self and put out there Yeah, cool, she joked sarcastically; laughing it off- just to let him know she was kiddin. She knew he meant it'd be cool to visit there; but the state was not cold cool, by any means. It was the hotest state in the US.
When Levi told her how his how life was too stressful that's why he'd come to Canterbury academy; Jackie had expierianced stress before, quite often actually- especially living in the horse world, but she could never imagine being stressed to the point of wanting to get out of the house, and moving to another state. Can I ask, why was your life so stressful? She didn't want to accidently invade on something if he was sensitive about talking about it; she didn't want to push him to talk about anything he wasn't comfortable with.
Me? It's kinda both sides of the matter, I saw the academy on the interent and I pretty much begged my parents to come here, and then they finally gave in thinking it was a good idea, and now they have the house with no annoying kids, being that were all growing up, Jackie told him with a small laugh.

Levi looked at her and then started his story. Well a few years ago my mom decided to get a job since us kids were in school and not help out on the family farm. Well one night she didnt come home and she said she had to work late. Well two days later she comes home and everything is back to normal but she's still staying late cause of her job. A few months went on and it became obvious that she was pregnant. My dad called her out on it and she said she wasnt and to make a long story short. It wasnt my dads kid. So my dad kicked her out of the house. But when Jasmine was born he took her back in saying that they were going through a rough time. And they have been here ever since. he said. He looked at her. Yea, I had to beg mine too and they even wanted to send Kasey but she was to young. Levi said laughing about why she came to Canterbury.
Levi still looked at her and the smile never left his face. Ya, i bet Arizona is hot. Levi said. His grandparents moved to Arizona during the winters but always came back in the summers. To bad it was always school time or Levi would have gone with them. He knew they liked it down there but he didnt know if he woudl like how hot it was. Maybe it wouldnt bother him. He would never know.

Jackie listened intently as Levi went on to tell her about his life, and the story to why it was so stressful. He'd told her that his mom had gotten pregnant and it wasn't his father child, and then he'd kicked his mother out of the house. Jackie couldn't even imagine what it would be like to not have her whole family together. Jackie has always been a huge family person, and she wouldn't know what to do if she didn' have her brothers there for her when she needed them the most. Jackie finally spoke up and said; That must've been tough.. especially from Jackie's perspective of it all, she would never want to be put through that.
Yeah, she replied when he said Arizona was hot, I love it there, except for when it gets way to hot and we can't work the horses, She told him, that was the only draw back for her, to living in Arizona. So what is Nebraska like? she asked him refering to where he told her where he lived before coming off to Canterbury.

Levi smiled as she talked about Arizona. Nebraska well its flat and lots of farm land. Feilds and stuff like that. We lived in the middle of a feild. The city areas are sorta busy for the company workers but I didnt go there often. Levi laughed lightly. He looked at her and smiled. Farming's pretty serious in Nebraska. Levi joked. He remembered when he was helping his dad moving cattle. His dad made sure the cows stayed out of the hay feild or they would flatten it. Levi laughed at the memory.
OCC: Sorry its short phone call

Jackie nodded and listened closely as Levi talked about what his hometown of Nebraska was like, and how it was small cities and lots of farming. Jackie had lived on a farm her entire life, her father was an equine veterinarian, and they owned ranch full of horses; where the whole family rode in Arizona.
Jackie tucked her legs underneath her again and continued to look in Levi's direction; she knew that he rode horses, and was into jumping just as she was- she wondered if he was entering the horse show. So are you competing in the upcoming horse show? she asked him curiously.

Levi smiled and then nodded his head. Yep, I did enter with Gold...but a little secret....I havent jumped Gold since I have been accepted. I actually havent even rode him. We have gone on walks but thats about all. Hopefully this weekend I will be able to tackle that.Levi said. He needed to know if Gold needed training before he rode him in a show. Gold was a stallion who was unpredictable. You? Levi asked her. She would probably be entering it but maybe not. Maybe shows werent her thing. His cousin was a big horse person who liked showing but she wasnt going to enter this show cause she didnt know her horse good enough. Levi totally understood but he thought him and Gold could tackle this and then train for the next show. Not how he would do things normally but this would have to do.
Levi kept looking at Jackie and smiled. He enjoyed talking with her. He seemed like he knew her for ages. Levi set his hands in his pockets. He moved his feet slightly and then settled again. Do you know any good trails that have jumps on them? Levi asked Jackie. He didnt know if she went on any trail rides yet but he was dying to go on one that had jumps.

Jackie smiled and then nodded slightly when Levi began to talk about him and Gold and them entering the upcoming horse show. She smiled when he said he hadn't ridden him yet- she mentally added; Yeeah, you might wanna do that. Then she smiled again and continued to listen. When he asked 'you?' he face moved into a somewhat unhappy frown, she was upset she couldn't ride in the show- for the silly reason, that her family and another girl's family were close friends with the judge- so some members of thes school board, and thought it would be unfair to let Jackie and her brother show, along with another junior here at Canterbury.
She thought for a moment of how to explain the situation in simplier terms, she then looked at him with her deep green eyes and began with- Well, I would love to compete at the show, but terms with the school board and my family are restricting that from happening. She said taking a small breath and looking down at her jeans, before meeting his eyes and continuing again. My family is friends with the judge that will be judging the horse show, so some members on the school board complained that it would be unfair for my brother and I to show, so yeah.. I think it's kind of ridiculous, but whatver. She told him, then looked down at her jeans and then back up at him with a small smile.
He'd asked her about the trials, she really had no idea because she'd only been out riding once- and she'd done just flat work out in the arena. I'm not really sure- she told him then added, I've only ridden my mare once- and that was just in the arena doing a little bit of flat work, she said to him. [ooc:that sounds like a stupid excuse not to compete, lol but i just had to make something up, hehe.]

Oh I'm sorry thats to bad you cant compete. I mean I could understand if this show was huge but its just a school wide show. So I dont see a problem. Levi said. Some parents had to big of a fit over the smallest things. When Levi was smaller some of the other parents had a fit about him riding a friends horse because his horse came up lame before he went out into the ring. He got to compete but the judges wouldnt let him get first even though he had the best time and had no faults. They wouldnt even give him second or third. Levi just shrugged it off and tried to forget about it. No need to remember the past now. Levi was willing to forget everything that happened back then but he couldnt it just wouldnt leave.

It's okay, I love helping out, so it'll be fine, I can still watch and cheer people on, She said with a small laugh. One of my brother and I's friends, Teegan, you might know her? Jackie asked- the board won't let her show for the same reason- and she's amaaaazing at braiding mane's. So if you need a braider for the show.. Jackie laughed thinking of teegan the brillant platinum, spunky blonde- I'm sure she'll be happy to braid for you. Jackie told told him.

Levi laughed lightly. I actually may need her to braid for me! I tryed it once and my old horses mane would come out really bad. Levi laughed. He had never been able to braid the manes of a horse. He also tryed to make ribbon coming down from it but that never worked either. Levi laughed at the rememberance of when he tryed to braid. They ended up falling out and he never really wanted to try again. His sister would always do it for him but he didnt have her around now. Levi laughed again. Nope never met Teegan before. Levi said trying to remember the people he has met at Canterbury. That name didnt ring a bell.
