Health Class (Open)

Levi sighed as he heard the warning bell ring to get to class. He didnt want to go to class already. Health was his first class of the morning. Great...what am I going to have to learn. Levi thought to himself. This was his first class ever at Canterbury. He yawned a little and then looked around. He walked into the class. No one was there yet. He made sure to get there super early to get a seat in the back. He found a table in the back and set down his things. Levi was a little hesitant at joining a health class afraid that he was going to have to take care of a fake baby. He didnt want to do that but he figured he needed the credit in order to graduate. Levi looked toward the door. He couldnt be the only person in the class or were they all running late?

Levi took his cell phone out of his shorts pocket. He flipped the Razer open and turned the volume down to vibrate. In case he got a text message. He set his binder on the table and then sat down. He shook his head to get his hair off his forehead. He looked around. Not even the teacher had gotten here yet. Posters scattered the walls of health and the human body. Levi put his elbows on the table and set his head on his hands. He wished he was plaing basketball right now. He needed to find out if Canterbury had a basketball team. No big deal if they didnt. It would be nice to shoot some hoops though.

Levi looked down at his binder and waited patiently. The late bell rang and still no one showed up. Am I in the wrong class? Levi asked himself in his mind. He knew he wasnt wrong cause he still heard a lot of students in the hallway. They just wanted to be late. Where was the teacher? Not that he cared. He didnt even want to be there anyway but school was school and he needed it to graduate. He wanted to go see his new horse Gold that he was owning in the meantime from the school. He couldnt wait to ride him to see what he was like. Levi looked at the board and it said "Welcome Health Students" Levi laughed lightly. At his old school the teachers never wrote things like that on the boards.

[Riley]

She glared forward. Her stonewashed denim jeans moved over her body as she could hear her chunks clicking upon the hallway flooring. Her top was covered in a quaint band type baby tee that was a reddish coloring. It so happened she had her normal type makeup on some eye shadow in a light brown color followed by some black liner and mascara. Her green eyes began to shift over the doors numbers in accurately as she was frustrated. Her notebook clutched in her left arm and fiddled with her pen in the other.

Finally spotting the door she gave a grave look toward it. great health class with the younger generation. It was necessary for at her old school, she never took this class. It had been an option not many delved into. She gave a slight huff as she entered the domain noticing only one male sitting in the back. She looked at the paper she had in her hand as she noticed she was indeed in the right room. Oddly enough it must be a co-ed type class. She gave a gentle sigh of frustration before she took herself to the back as well. she sure wasn’t wanting to be located up front.

Her book lay upon the now claimed desk as she flipped the cover open and grabbed her pen. She quickly wrote down the date and her name in her wondrous hand writing before she gazed upward. Dull as it seemed she had already been late for her first class. Joyous time it seemed to be giving her thus far as the instructor figure wasn’t there. Her lips pursed together as she clicked her pen open then shut once more. She began to grow ever so bored with this and sighed lightly. I’m Riley... she turned to the boy a few seats departed from her left. Unknown if he would respond or think she was a complete mental case was still up to him. She gave a quick flashing smile.

Levi watched as the girl walked into the classroom. His blue eyes followed her but he didnt turn his head. She came and sat toward the left of him. She said her name was Riley. Levi moved his head to look at her and smiled. I'm Levi. He said smiling. He started twirling his health book, and then stopped. She looked nice but it looked like she didnt want to be there...well neither did he.

Levi could have cared less if the class was ever going to start. He looked over at Riley and thought of something to ask her. So do you ride? Levi asked Riley. He rode but he hadnt gotten a chance to ride the horse he had requested for. He had only been here less then a week. He couldnt wait to see what Gold could do. He wished he was out riding right now. He wondered if Gold could jump. What if she doesnt ride? Levi asked himself. He turned his attention back toward Riley to await her answer.
