i have been roleplaying for a little over a year. this site was actually one of my first rpgs. all the others were on a pet site. i joined around early may and had four active characters. then everyone quit and the site went dead...

i normally roleplay humans in either high school and college. the only other thing i have tried was horses, but i am way better at this.

Jordan whislted softly as she entered that large barn. She hadn't ridden Zues in a couple of days, she she imagined he would be getting kind of lonely. Although she did turn him out into the pasture every now and then, Jordan missed his beautiful little face.

Her boots scuffled along the barn floor as she walked down the maze of stalls. Jordan had memeroized how to get to the dapply grey's stall, but still searched for his nameplate. Her brown eyes fell across it, and she looked up over the door. And there he was. His gorgeous head was over the stall door at the first sign of Jordan. She patted his neck as soon as she got within arms length. The stallion nudged her forearm, and Jordan puled out a sugar cube from her pocket. "There you go boy" the girl said and smiled. She turned around and took a few steps away before looking back over at her horse one more time. "I'll be back soon" Jordan said, and she turned and headed off to the tackroom.

A few minutes later Jordan came back to Zues's stall. She set her box of brooming supplied on the floor, outside the stall door. She grabbed the blue halter from the hook hanging on the wall and went inside the stall. Jordan stroked the big stallion's neck a few times before gently putting the halter on his head. Once that was all set, she led him outside the stall and down the aisles to the crossties. She noticed one set was already being used, so she took over the one infront of the girl and her pony. Jordan hooked him up before retrieving her grooming supplies. She took out her dandy brush and lightly brushed Zues's head, being careful around certain parts. Once satisfying herself with that, she began working with a currycomb. Jordan started at the upper neck and worked her way over Zues, giving his a well-earned grooming.

Jordan's eyes fell upon the pony, who was hooked up at the crossties nearest to them. He was much smaller than Zues, at least 2 hands. She began to wonder where the caretaker was, until she saaw a pair of legs around the side of the pony. She figured it was a girl, and she guessed right. The girl has lng blonde hair, and was on the short side. She was bobbing her head up and down as she worked, and looked like she was enjoying yourself. "Having fun over there?" Jordan asked, continuing her grooming. She picked up her dandy brush again and cleaned the stallion's coat free of mud and other things that were not clinging to the hair now. Jordan loved every second at the barn, whether it was riding, or doing the less glorious jobs like grooming, or mucking stalls. And having the most wonderful horse only made it better.

physical appearance:

FACE: taylor has what most people consider a gorgeous face. she considers her to eyes to be her best feature. the hazel, sparkling beauties sit nicely beneath nice eyebrows. her nose is smaller, but flows well with her overall look. beneath her nose is pair lucious lips which conceal her bright smile. her pearly whites stand as a result of years of braces and other orthodontic aplliances.

HAIR: ontop of her head sits taylor's hair. on a regular day, her dirty blonde hair falls in loose, natural waves to a bit below shoulder length. she doesn't like to change hairstyles that often. she also likes to scrunch her hair a lot. taylor's hair has a tendancy to get frizzy after awhile, which results in using many products. overall, her hair is pretty average.

SKIN: although everyone has to deal with acne at some point, taylor does her best to keep her skin clear. when she was in her early teens, taylor had a small problem with blackheads, which is why she is so careful now. taylor does not go to tanning salons. although she is outdoors a lot, she doesn't get very tan. actually, she burns first and then turns just the slightest bit darker, it's a good thing she is fine with being fair skinned.

BODY: taylor has a pretty nice body. she stands at five feet, eight inches tall, and is quite average in height compared to everyone else. taylor is skinny, yet muscular. taylor, unlike most girls, is fine with the way her chest is. she has nice c cups or so, which stand proud. they are one of the first things guys notice. taylors has a slim waist and an almost flat stomach. she would like to trim her thighs a little, but other than that her legs are very long to give her some of her height. the hair on her legs grows back extremely quickly, so she normally has to shave at least once a day. taylor's feet are average wearing about a nine, but she only needs her cowboy boots!

clothing style:

taylor is a country girl at heart, but dresses like one too.

JEANS: she ALWAYS wears jeans. dark wash, light wash, ripped, holes, doesn't matter. whenever you see her, she will be wearing jeans. when it is hot out, she wears jean cut-off shorts. she just can't resist wearing them. her favorite brands of jeans are delia's and alloy.taylor loves jeans so much because they are pretty much acceptable for everything she does. it doesn't matter if they get grass stains or holes because it just adds to their appearance. they also stand up pretty well to all her activities.

SHIRTS: taylor wears a variety of shirts. the most common type is very tight t-shirts or layered beaters. because she is from a very warm section of the country, she has grown to wear shirts like these everyday. she doesn't really wear nicer shirts because of her type of lifestyle. taylor likes to wear more neutral colors because they look better on her. she wear a lot of browns, soft blues, and white. when asked to dress up, she wears her normal jeans, and a t-shirt with a nice jacket over it. she just wears the same stuff over and over because it fits her well.

SHOES: the shoes taylor wears is normally cowboy boots. she adores them. she has about a bazillion pairs of them in different shades of brown with different designs. in taylor's opinion, they go well with anything she wears, and they are also comfortable. taylor wears flip flops in the extremely hot weather. she does like to let her feet she fresh air every once in a while. other than that, taylor just wears her beloved cowboy boots.

ACCESSORIES: when you dress as basic as this, you got to have some bling to bring your outfit to life. taylor likes to do this by using huge accessories that get your attention. she doesn't like using more than one at a time though. she would wear huge earrings but not pair it with her chunky belt. speaking of belts, taylor pretty much has an obsession with them. just like cowboy boots and jeans, she has a TON of them. all of taylor's belt are eye-catching and bold. she normally wears a big belt with sparkles on it or something in that general area. taylor isn't a big fan of bracelets, earrings, or necklaces because she believes they just get in the way.

personality:

ONTHEOUTSIDE: taylor is someone who is known to not be very kind to people who she doesn't know. when you first meet her, taylor might come off as some who has a total "i hate the world" attitude, but once you get to know her, she is a really nice person. she seems to have a protective shell around her before she gets to know you better. taylor has been treated harshly by past friends, and really doesn't want to go through any of it again.

ONTHEINSIDE: after a couple of get-togethers, taylor starts to break that little shell of hers. she begins to show who she really is. the real taylor is a sweet, caring person. she would do anything to help her friends, no matter how much she puts at risk. she has been know to stand up to the meanest of bullies to get her friend out of a fight. taylor is just a wee bit short-tempered. at first you may think she will be able to calmly explain her opinion, but she can definately flash the devil horns.

AROUNDHORSES: taylor acts almost like a different person around horses. since she loves the animals she thinks they need to have the best care. she is a calm, loving person around horses. she never yells, or argues, nothing. actually, this would probably be the best time to get on her bad side. although you know she will get you later, this give you time to think of a master plan. she just loves being around the wonderful creatures and values their lives' over her's.

history:

on december seventh, 1990, taylor camille lanson was brought into this world. through her little baby eyes she looked up and saw her mother maria, who's hands she was being held by. she also saw the faces that she would grow more familiar to. those were the faces of carter, her father, and jessica, her older sister. all of them began to smile as taylor did the one thing babies love to do: cry.

the parents made it through the first years of their second baby. by age two, taylor was walking with ease around their one level ranch house. she would then be able to walk down a small, gravel path to her daddy's office in the barn. taylor has been around horses for as long as she can remember. she was raised on a horse ranch in the small town of springfield, oregon. her parents owned over fourty horses, along with acres and acres of land. taylor loved exploring the barn. her daddy used to take her on daily walks down the aisles horses and up the stairs to the hayloft, where they would read books. taylor enjoied every moment of it as she grew up.

by age twelve, taylor was riding full time. she owned her own horse, named Red, and rode her almost every day. she loved competing in the novice division, even though she knew she could be beaten. she looked forward to every day, just because she would be able to ride her horse. taylor really loved that mare, and did everything she possibly could to watch over her.

although taylor's life seems pretty good, things were about to take an unexpected turn. it was a few months ago. taylor was out on a trail ride with her father. her mother was in the house, and her younger sister was out with a friend. as taylor and Jester rounded the last tree onto the long stretch of plains back to the barn, what they saw was definately not pretty. thick, gray smoke was rising from the barn. taylor lightly kicked jester in the sides and urged him forward. the gelding started galloping back to the barn, sensing the worry in taylor. about a minute later, taylor pulled up on jester, dismounted, and knotted his reins around a tall pole. she ran into the barn, clipping lead ropes on all the halters of the horses before dragging them out the back door. as she ran back in for some other horses, she ran into her mother who was leading Red out, with a blindfold on her halter. "thanks mom!." taylor said as she lead the mare out of the smoke. she and her mother soon had every horse out into the pastures. the barn burnt down completely, but at least everyone and al the horses was safe and healthy.

they still do not know what caused the fire. taylor's family decided to house the horses in a nearby barn owned by one of carter's friends. he agreed to give them free board until their barn was finished. taylor couldn't stand being around the construction site. she went and visited her horses every day. she just couldn't live with everything that was going on. taylor convinced her parents to send her to CA so she could take a break from all of this madness. they agreed on her returning next summer to see the brand new barn. taylor is just grateful to be out of that mess for a while.

riding expierence:

taylor began riding around seven year old. she started out on an old pony named lightning. the only thing the pony was ever used for was little kid rides. taylor loves that little pony so much. three years later lightning was retired to the pastures and taylor was heartbroken. she rode a few other ponies until lightning passed away.

because taylor was so depressed from the death of her beloved pony, her father decided to buy her her first horse.after many months of searching, they finally found Red. Red Cloud [or red for short] was a paint mare. she was ten years old, and had plenty of experience with giving kids rides. red was an extremely calm horse, and was bombproof on trails. taylor loved her.

taylor has just turned eleven years old. she had become a much better rider ever since the death of her pony. she felt like she owed him something. she was now taking western pleasure lessons from her father. her parents still owned their ranch, and all the horses. taylor and red made the perfect team. the next year, they competed in small, local competitions together.

taylor is now seventeen. red is still her companion, even though she doesn't get ridden very often. taylor now owns two more horses. one is a seven year old buckskin quarter horse gelding named Jester. taylor rides jester mainly for western pleasure, and trails. the other is a six year old brown quarter horse stallion named Hades. taylor normally rides Hades in all her competitions. she competes for western pleasure and barrel racing [occassionaly].

taylor has continued to stick to her western roots. she attempted english for about two months. she thought it was too hard because of all the fancy positions and whatnot. she prefered riding western even though it had been her dream as a kid to jump. taylor finds one of her favorite part of riding is the trails. she finds it so much fun to see all the scenic routes that their land has to offer. and, she probably wouldn't enjoy it as much if she wasn't on the back of her horse.
