Modern Hearts
It started out as something minor.
Just a few days that were all about the music, and maybe just a taste of the glory that was Monterey Pop and Woodstock.
A passing thought; a small concert with a few small acts getting together to play music.
The result was way more than anyone had bargained for.
Paris!
New York City!
Toronto!
Who would've known that a few kids with instruments would create such a phenomenon? The original weekend concert had evolved into an international success.
The venues and time period grew. The few local bands turned into six bands from all over the world, and the crowd grew from a few people to thousands of screaming fans.
It didn't take long for it to become what it is today. Six bands, seven continents, and one year to make an impact.
But with every rose, there come the inevitable thorns.
Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll.
A rockstar's life can't possibly go on without the side effects. With the excess, the paparazzi, the high of touring, and everything else that being famous entails, a rocker will be lucky if they make it through the first few months alive.
And that's only the general consensus.
Everyone's got their own problems to deal with; problems that will take more than a few words written on a piece of scrap paper to solve.
How far can they make it before someone breaks?
After all, it is only a matter of time.
