Rouen House
You come through the villiage at rather a slow pace behind the wheel of your vehicle due to children playing on the roadside or the many citizens going about their busy lifes around you, you can tell from your first glance that this little village called Bryar is full of life and has a vibrant personality. You're making your way to the local stables which you found out about from research or word of mouth. You travel along through the village, taking in the sights of the beautiful quaint little cottages and breath-taking houses until you come to a turn off that is almost hidden by trees that fall over a green sign that reads 'ROUEN HOUSE EQUESTRIAN CENTER' and you indicate to turn. Your car's tyres crunch down on the gravel as you reduce your speed further as you take into account the horses that graze along the fence line close to the drive way that is big enough for two. You probably wont notice the little turn off covered by a large iron gate that leads off to the family house because your eyes are set on the large car park and eye catching archway that you will walk through to enter the yard. You park your car and climb out, walking with excitement as you walk under the grand archway and suddenly you are hit by the beauty of the place. All around you are people and their horses, theres a small little pony being chased by a child which is quite amusing to watch and infront of you is a large bay mare standing over her stable door with a rather petite version of herself trying to poke it's nose over too to see what his mummy is watching. You can hear the calls of a friendly instructor telling her pupils to gather a trot while your attention is on moving out of the way of the six horses that are leaving for a hack together, each person smiles at you warmly and greets you. You've already seen enough to know this place is perfect for you, but then somene approachs and greets you and asks if they can help, because everyone here at Rouen knows each other and know when a newcomer is present. You smile vibrantly and you just and you set out on a conversation that will most likely lead to you becoming a part of this fantastic community. Welcome to Rouen House and the village of Bryar, the little undiscovered peaceful village set on the coastline of Virginia.
