A society of national witches that haven't turned their backs on the reede. They could be described as white magick users. They're constant enemy, is the Duskoff. Their job is to take out the Duskoff, before any more witches are killed.

A group of renegade witches. People who have turned their back on the reede, and work to extinguish the coven. They are known to drain witches of their magick, and their lives. The Duskoff are dark magick users.

In modern times, Witches exist to the human race. Non-Magickals, as we like to call them, know of our existance, yet, we still work behind the scenes. There have been 4 members of The Coven, long since past that have had their time in the spotlight. Mira Hoskins, Jack McAllister, Thomas Monahan, and Isabella Novak, all powerful witches have come, and gone with their role in our story. They battled the Duskoff, an Organization of powerful warlocks that have turned their heads on the reede, and The Coven, and have been known to sacrifice powerful witches to summon Demons. Well. They're at it again. But this time, The Coven is going to need to have all the most experienced witches on hand. Why, you wonder? The Duskoff just recently summoned another Demon-- Their late leaders adoptive son, Stefan Faucheux, needing a demon to bid him another favor : annihilate The Coven. Now all the Coven's witches must bind in force, not only to get rid of the Demon Stephan has summoned, but to get rid of the Duskoff completley.

Pissed off, because Isabella and Thomas caught him off guard, and threw him in Gribben, he's vowed to get back at them. And not JUST them, the entire Coven. And as Isabella, and Thomas now know, Demons are able to come, and go as they please as long as the Duskoff keep sacrificing witches. A demon can stay as long as they want-- especially if Stefan gives him orders to.

There is also an alternate reality-- a place called Eudae. A planet much like our own, except for one thing: Demons inhabit it, instead of Witches and Non-Magickals. Here there are two moons, and a much tighter, more secure laws. If any Non-Magickal enters Eudae, they are captured, and tortured for information. The only entry way to this world, is through a Demon Portal. But of course, more witches must be sacrificed to open these portals, so entry to the demon world is highly unlikely-- unless you're the Duskoff.

The witches in both the duskoff, and the coven, are known for their magick. Each with has the power of some element. Also, know your attractions.

Fire to Air.
Earth to Water.

However powerful these attractions may be, they don't hold bearings out your relationships. Romance runs thick behind the walls of the Coven mansion and the members of the Duskoff. Sordid affairs and heated interludes, but the magick has nothing to do with it.

FIRE

The power of flame. Heat. Etc. Alot can be done with the power of fire. Such as setting your enemy on fire. Only a thought, though.

EARTH[/font][/color]
Earth witches are tricky. They can't just call their power. They have to store it in various places of the body. Earth users are known to have their hair long, and have many tattoos. Earth users are teased about being kitchen witches-- because thats exactly what they are. They have to cook up their charms, their potions, etc.

WATER[/font][/color]
These witches can read the moisture molecules in the air. Tap into any water supply, and spy on their enemies-- or their lovers. Witches of water are most calm when they have some sort of stream, or water supply around them. Rain, Streams, Oceans, Rivers, you name it. Only the most powerful ones can call upon the water in someone elses body to damage them without even so much as a stroke on the flesh.

AIR[/font][/color]
Like their element, they can be as crafty as the wind, and you wont even know their there. They can pick up conversations in the wind, from miles or even minutes away. They can create tornado's, and wind related storms that rip their enemies to pieces.

Not too long ago, the witches also became immersed in their history. Thanks to Stefan when he was prisoned in Gribben, they became aware of the Duskoff's intense research documents. In the other world, the Demon world, Witches powerful to the non-magickal society are at the end of the food chain in Eudae. Witches are spawned from their demon enemies. Long ago, a demon and a human fell in love. The woman gave birth to a half demon, half human. But for the witches to actually exist, the demon needed to call upon an element of his choosing for the being to actually sustain itself in the human realm.

After the woman gave birth, the child would have one of these elements. In Eudae, the Daemons, or Demons, call these "half breeds" Aemon. With this new information, the Coven has no idea what more to research. They put Micah, the Coven's renown researcher to look further into the duskoff's documents.
