Ever since horse racing became a sport Lexington, Kentucky was the place to go to find the best Thoroughbreds. The greatest races, the greatest horses, everything you could possibly think of was held in Lexington. But the best of the best were found at the two stables Rose Hill Farms, and Davidsons Farms. The two stables have been bitter rivals ever since the beginning, and there was no way that was going to change. Davidsons Farms made their money by buying the best horses at the auctions, running them in stakes races, and then selling them for the highest bidder. Rose Hill Farms had a better way of doing things. A more honorable, though much less profitable, way of getting the right horses. They breed, train, and race the horses on their own. Naturally Davidsons Farms is the more expensive and much nicer of the two stables.

Generations have passed down between the two ranches. Now Rose Hill Farms is in the hand sof young Alex Rose Mortensen. In the years that have followed the founding of Rose Hill Farms they have not had much success in breeding fine horses themselves, until Alex's mother came into the equition. Now Rose Hills is back to being competitive in the horse racing business with some fine horses to get them going. But little did Alex know the scandals that were revolving around her precious horses. Davidsons Farms cannot allow any competition to come into play when it comes to the Rose Hill Farms. Davidsons Farms will stop at nothing to make sure that Rose Hill is not successful in any way. Though they are already too late. Rose Hill Farms has a contender that can stay with the competition. Nikaya. The colt with the perfect bloodlines and the speed to proove it. Davidsons Farms will have a hard time keeping up with this horse.

But Davidsons Farms have another trick up their sleeves. For one of the young sons is coming back from boarding school this summer. The eldest of the sons has never met Alex and what should happen if the two fell in love only for the son to double cross Alex and tear the farm apart. Rose Hill Farms would never be able to come back from such a scandal. But Alex is strong maybe she would be able to survive this and come back in one piece, her heart in tact. Time to see where love in the horse racing worold takes us.
