Welcome to Hamilton Harbor.
Well, maybe not welcome. After all, we don't know if we're going to like you yet. It depends on how hard you try to fit in around here. And trust me, it takes a lot of work to fit in around here. We are the best and the brightest, the young and the reckless, the rich and not-so-famous. Our parents have long-lasting reputations to back up the old money, and everyone has a name to make or break. We work hard and play harder, living the lives others only dream of having.
But of course, looks can be very deceiving, and Hamilton Harbor is no different. Even though we've known most of each other since the diaper days, that doesn't mean we know every single detail about one another. Because let's face it, that could be dangerous. You never know who you can trust these days. Yes, we may appear to the perfect little angels, good kids from good families, it's really just all acting. Most of us have to attempt not to ruin our perfectly manicured hedges when we stumble home drunk at four a.m. That is, if we even make it home at all. Beneath the glossy veneer of our seemingly perfect lives is a very tangled web of lies, secrets, corruption, and betrayal. Sex, drugs, and violence are fairly commonplace--and it's all just a matter of time before your dirty little secrets are all aired out in public.
Not to mention the other kids. When Hurricane Daniel hit recently, our nearby rival school Harbor Collegiate School was completely ruined. Naturally, we were oh so devastated. But then, when Headmaster Jenkins decided to be a gracious host and accept them into our school, we really were devastated. Especially now that those Harbor sluts are trying to steal our guys and taking over our ruling spot at the top. Rest assured, there is no way that we are going to let that happen. Not without a fight, anyways.
So go ahead, enroll in Hamilton Harbor Academy. But be warned; that football star you're sitting next to has impregnated more girls than he can count. The prom queen? She spends second and fourth period every day puking her brains out in the girls' bathroom. And as for that quiet guy in the corner? He plans on blowing us all away someday...literally. Like I said, looks can be deceiving. Be popular at your own risk. You can't beat us, and you sure as hell can't join us. But you can try if you'd like. Just remember, underneath it all, we're just regular girls and boys trying to make our way in this crazy, mixed-up world.
And most importantly, we just want to be loved.
