Kayden nodded and leaned his head back, his eyes closed as he felt the warming rays of the sun attacking his tanned face. He smiled softly as he soaked in the feel of the sun. "There's supposedly a nice little out door cafe in town. Want to join me?" Kayden stood up and held his hand out towards the girl. It was obvious that she was completely closed off to everyone, of that he was sure, but also determined to break through. He was the same way with most people, and understood how unhappy she must be. If he would have had a decent family life back home, it would have been a lot harder to come here than it was since he didn't have a good family life.

the teen's legs uncrossed, and her toes pointed in, slightly pushed on tip toe so that her legs weren't entirely on the seat of the bench. did she want to go somewhere with someone that she barely knew? from what she could tell, he seemed like very ok guy. no obnoxious behavior or cocky bragging. and hell, if she had any hope in this world to make friends, she might as well try to push aside the wall she had up and branch out a bit. sure, okay. having a quick internal battle with herself, ryan slipped her smooth hand into his own and stood up. her eyes smoldered into his own as she stood from the bench, but then she looked away. she drew back her hand, slipping both into the back pockets of her jeans. lead the way, kayden, ryan stated quite quietly, her head cocking the tiniest bit as the words fell from her lips.
