The door of the cafe opened as Jason walked in, his sunglasses reflecting off the light. He walked over to the counter, he stared up at the menu. There were too many choices, he kept thinking about getting just a Coffee. Being exhausted anyways the coffee might help. He ordered one black, course thats how he liked his. He waited for his coffee and paid once he got it, he smiled and gave a polite thanks to the man behind the counter. He walked towards a small table with two chairs. He sat and started drinking slowely, the coffee was hot. Having the hot coffee purse through his lips and run down his throat made him feel better about this situation he was in. He sat and strummed on the table a little, he wasn't meeting anyone but sitting helped him relaxe his muscles since he never really had time to do just that.

Kaylin walked slowly down the sidewalk. Caleb had just dropped her off by the small bookstore and she'd already bought a book. It was great having an older brother at the same school - especially one with a motorcycle, for that matter. Her long brunette tresses were loose and fell in curls around her face. Her black lace cami was covered in a tight-fitting white blouse, the neckline lower than usual. Her jeans were a good fit, tight around the waist and fanning out around her sandal-clad feet. Large sunglasses hid her gray eyes.
She paused outside the cafe, considering spending the rest of her small budget on some food or going for a walk and bugging Caleb to buy her something later on. Opting for food sooner rather than later, she went into the cafe and ordered a cinnabon and a cappucino. She waited almost impatiently for her order and smiled when the guy at the counter handed her the food and drink. She turned slowly, glancing around for a table.

Jason sat sipping the hot coffee, hair scruffy after running his hands through it. He looked as he saw a girl walk in and order something. He saw she was looking for a place to sit at. Well jason could use the company he thought and looked towards her smiling. He got up and walked towards her. Need a seat? he asked the girl still smiling thinking maybe that making a friend would be good. He stood and waited for a response. He was hopeing it would be a good one, being rejected an offer kind of what he didnt have in mind. His phone started vibrating as he quickley picked it up and saw it was an ex girlfriend of his calling at random. He ignored the call and shut the phone off. He placed the phone back in his pocket smiling again not needing that kind of drama.

Kaylin glanced up at Jason from behind her sunglasses as he walked over. Need a seat? She smiled slowly. He was taller than her by at least a head. His hair was ruffled, but in a cute way. That'd be great, actually. She followed him over to the table and set her food and drink down as she sat. She grinned at him as she pushed her sunglasses ontop of her head. I'm Kaylin. She held out a slim hand to the older guy.

Jason smiled and sat down, he was pretty happy with her response. He replied Im Jason he said taking his sunglasses off and revealing the glassy eyes. He put his sunglasses in his pocket and shook Kaylin's hand. Kaylin he thought, he liked that name it was pretty. He ruffled his hair a little bit more, it was sort of a habit of his to ruffle his hair. (OOC:i have to go clean my horse's stall ill be back soon)

Kaylin smiled demurely as she sipped her cappuccino. She could feel where his hand had touched hers, warmer than the rest of her. A light blushed colored her tanned cheeks, and she glanced away. Nice to meet you, Jason. She let a smile tug her lips upwards as she pulled a piece of her cinnabon off and popped it in her mouth, savoring the sweet, sugary taste. Want some? She held out a piece, head tilted questioningly. As he lifted a hand to ruffle his hair, she smirked and resisted the urge to reach out the hand she wasn't holding the offered cinnabon in to bat his hand lightly away. But she did resist, and sank back against her chair, hand still out. The sun coming through the window set her skin ablaze, turning it a golden brown color.

Jason smirked at her offer No thank you im fine he replied emerging that smirk to a smile. Jason took another sip of the not hot but luke warm coffee he had on the table. He felt the warm liquid in the pit of his stomach for some odd reason. Maybe it was nerves, he hadn't met anyone new in a while and meeting someone like Kaylin made him nervous. So do you ride horses? Jason asked trying to start conversation, his tan skin shined a little when the sun shined into the little cafe. He sort of twiddled waiting for a response since the nerves started to catch up but that was the only way of showing. He tried to make it unoticeable.

Kaylin shrugged, grinning. Suit yourself. She popped the piece into her mouth, closing her eyes as it melted on her tongue. Mmmmmmm. She blinked her pale gray eyes open and smiled at Jason, propping her chin on her fists. Surprisingly, she felt what could only be describe as butterflies in the pit of her stomach. She raised her eyebrows. Of course I ride, silly. My current horse is called Puzzle, but my trainor wants to get me a new horse - a pony. She screwed up her face. She liked ponies, but horses were so much... bigger. Ah, well, if that's what Kayden wanted... She glanced down to see him twiddling his fingers. She lifted her gaze to meet his. Am I that boring, Jason? There was a slightly wounded look in her eyes as she leaned back, dropping her hands to her lap, staring out the window.

Jason all of a sudden relaxed and looked at her with worried eyes No im just.... he couldnt spit it out. Im just sort of nervous, you know talking to someone new he took a breaht and paused. He started to change the akward silence Thats cool im riding Sky, what type do you ride?. He asked smiling still and not twiddling his thumbs, he knew he would screw up somehow someway. He didn't want to send wrong signals but he was just nervous, and he couldn't shake it. He stared outside for a minute, thinking of a way he could make this better.

Kaylin glanced at him, and a smile lit her face. Jason, it's okay. You don't have to be nervous. I don't bite. She flexed her shoulders as she leaned forward once again, silver eyes shining. She cupped her chin in her slender hands and met his gaze evenly. Well, I ride English, and Western... cross-country... But my favorite is bareback. It's my type of ecstacy. She rubbed her neck. She'd been tense all day, and the knot in her neck wasn't helping. She tilted her head forward, and her curls tumbled forward, hiding her face. She was slightly embarrassed by calling bareback her drug. She wasn't a druggie, after all.

Jason took a soothing breath and smiled at her, glass eyes twinkling Alright, I think ill be okay now. He chuckled at her saying bareback is her drug, that was like him and showjumping. A quick second he gazed off thinking of Sky & how he can't wait to try him out, but then he came back to reality. I love bareback its like truely becoming one with the horse I think. Yeah im a showjumping type of guy, you could say thats my ecstacy too.. He said still smiling and looking her in the eyes, usually that was something he never did but he just couldn't help it. Of course he didn't want to seem weird so then again he would glance off for a second.

Kaylin looked up and tucked her unruly curls behind her ears. Me too! There's nothing separating you and the horse. It just gives me this thrill. Her eyes danced as she thought about the long rides she'd gone on with Broken Arrow. She tilted her head. Showjumping, huh? I want to learn how to do that. Maybe you could teach me something sometime. She smiled slowly, liking the idea of him teaching her. She paused and her concerned gaze met his. Forgive my asking but... what grade are you in?

Jason grinned at how they both had agreed on something, especially horse related. I would love to teach you its a rush He said smiling. Theres was no more nerves and twiddling thumbs, he knew that was a good thing. He finished up his coffee and looked at her again. Im a junior he awnsered to her question, & You? Jason asked positioning himself so he was comfortable.

Kaylin was only momentarily happy about him teaching her the art of showjumping. Because he was a junior. He was sixteen, probably seventeen. He was older. Caleb would kill her. She glanced outside, biting her lip. After she told him her grade, he was sure to be out of there. Freshman, she murmered, eyes downcast. She was an idiot. 100% moron. Stupid, stupid, stupid. She spun her cup, eyes never meeting his.

Are you okay? he asked a little concerned. It seemed she all of a sudden thought of something or something is distracting. He wondered if it was him, how it probably. He had been in situations like this before, he wasn't sure what to do though. He just looked somewhere else, he sat back in his chair. He would here and there look at Kaylin but she still looked concerned about something. He ruffled his hair again to make time go by, but it didnt really.
