Teegan was wearing her comfortable pair of rocketdog shoes, with cute little green hula girls on the white fabric of the shoe-she had on her favorite pair of denim shorts, and was wearing a simply sweatshirt as the library kept the air conditioning on.
Teegan strode into the cool, air conditioned library; where the two story building was lined floor to ceiling which books from centuries of history, and on about every topic imaginable. She found her self a table to seat four, in the middle of the library where she could spread out her school work and just get some homework done. Teegan's mind couldn't help but run off to the new riding trainer she had. She wouldn't deny it; he was cute- but his attitude was something else. Even though it wasn't the type of person you would usually see Teegan with, she was starting to crush on this guy. And to make matters worse, he was the trainer- and most likely off limits. But that made Teegan want him that much more. All she had to do was come up with a plan, spend more time at the barn? Learn to become an amazing english rider, who knew but she had to do something. But for now she needed to take her mind off the boys, and get down to work.
She had been at Canterbury just over a week and already had homework to start working on. She had a large green binder for her science work, she flipped it open and pulled out her periodic table, she didn't know why she really needed to do this stuff; she wouldn't need to know the masses of all these silly elements when she made her career in the equine industry later in life. The first task on her science worksheet was to calculate the masses of the 6 elements, what did they think she was in biology again; this stuff was a piece of cake.
She brought her mechanical pencil up to her mouth and chewed on it for a moment. She stared at the door to the library to see if any students she recognized were coming in, she hoped that she could soon make some new friends, so far she'd only met her trainer Kayden- but they weren't exactly 'best buds', and then she'd met Caleb, who seemed like a nice down to earth guy.

Jess had been at this school only three days. Not long if you really look at it. To her it felt like a year. she ahd been sleeping horribly each night. School dorms were nice but they jsut weren't Brooklyn cribs. She sighed as she walked down the hallway with a binder in her hand. It was spanish. Her favorite subject in school, because she was half spanish, and the best language out there. Aside from the fact that she already knew spanish. Her mother used to sing her songs in spanish and doing it at school made home closer.
Jess walked into the library and looked around. The shelves were a deep mahogany and ran upto the cieling. Filled with books on whatever students needed. Chairs and tables were set up by a few windows and computers for research were a few feet away. Jess walked aroudn some of the tables to the windows. setting her binder on one of the tables she looekd out and sighed. If only she could go riding right now. Or just sit in the sun. It would be heaven. Absolutly heaven. The sun shone through the windows onto her clothes. Faded blue jeans that hugged her hips and a black tank top. The tank top showed a little bit between her shoulder blades and part of her tattoo was visible. The word blood surrounded a cross.
One of her gangbanging memento's. Turning around, Jess looked into the library. She didn't know anyone and wanted to make friends. screw the fact that it was a library and you were supposed to shut up in it. It was empty though. Completly utterly empty. Then out of the corner of her eye Jess saw a movcement. She turne dand their was a nicelooking blonde there. Before Jess went over to say hello she growled and puleld her long brown hair up into a ponytail. It was in the way again. With a smile Jess walked over to the other girl. "I'm Jessica Dalton, or JT, do you mind if i sit?" she asked the girl. Sticking out a hand for ehr to shake, seeing as she did introduce herself.

Teegan took her pencil out of her mouth and taped in on the table, then wrote out the masses of each of the stupid elements on the worksheet and pulled her calcultor from her bag- and clicked it on and punched in the numbers to add them up, once she had the answer she wrote it down in the given box on the handout in front of her. She looked up to see another girl about her age with long brunette hair come into the library. She figured that since the girl had a binder in her hand she was probably here to study, but then saw the girl walking in her direction; and thought that she maybe would have a chance to meet someone new to be friends with. Teegan gave a small smile when the girl introduced herself as Jessica, or JT. She then responded with, No, I don't mind- go ahead. I'm Teegan- it's nice to meet you.She pulled some of her papers in and stacked them off to the side so that she could make room for the other teen to go ahed and sit down.

Kayden had finally gotten all his chores done at the barn and was relishing the clean feel he had now that he was out of his dirty barn clothes and showered. He knew he had better get moving on schoolwork, especially since the school board and his teachers had granted him a waiver so that he could spend more time in the barn. He promised he would stay on track and up to date on schoolwork and seek a tutor if needed. So at that time he gathered all his books and binders up, placing his Spanish binder on top - it was the easiest - and headed towards the school library.
As he walked in the doors he checked his wactch, smiling due to the fact that he was there with plenty of time to turn on the computer, settle in, and watch TRK Stockholm and his old trainer Jay Arington compete in cross country. It was the final phase, and with them going in in second place they had to perform almost perfectly to take first. Upon walking in he saw the blond head of his first student Teegan. Turning he settled in, smiling politely at the girl Teegan was with. If they wanted to talk the could approach him. He quickly brought up the webpage, turning his attention to his spanish worksheet when he saw that there were still five horses to go before Stockholm and Jay.
ooc.. hope you dont mind me butting in:)

Jess smiled at Teegan and sat down after she puleld out the chair. It was one of those gay gray padded ones but it was better then plastic. Opening her binder to the conjugation worksheet, Jess looked at it for a second before turnign her attention to Teegan. "Nice to meet you Teegan," she said and wrote down two of the conjugations that she knew. Actually she knew them all but those were the two at the top. "So, how long have you been here?" she asked. When a man came in and sat down acroos from the two girls Jess smiled at him. "I'm Jess Dalton or JT," she introduced herself. He was quite cute, she thought to herself.

Teegan looked down at her science homework and finished the second question before setting her green mechanical pencil down, and looking up at the girl across from her. She then felt a wisp of warm air hit her legs as she heard the door to the library open, she looked away from the girl for a moment to see who'd walked in. As soon as Teegan laid her eyes on Kayden, her heart skyrocketed almost into her throat, she took a deep breath, not making anything obvious but just to mentally calm herself down. She gave a friendly smile in his direction, then returned to looking down at her books for a moment, she heard Jessica introduce herself to him.
I've been here for a little over a week now, Teegan told the other teen sitting across from her. What about you? she asked the girl; shooting the same question back.
Teegan knew a vast majority of the students at canterbury rode horses and wondered if this girl did too. So do you ride? She asked the teen, with a tiny smile on her face.

Kayden smiled in return to Teegan before resting his gaze on the Spanish sheet. Spanish truely was a bullshit class for him seeing as he was almost fluent in it. He quickly scribbled down his name and the date in the scratchy writing he knew was aweful. His head turned though as the girl with Teegan introduced herself. He nodded and spoke in a soft voice as to not disturb the other people - so few they may be - in the library. "Kayden Tristani." He heard the announcer call that Stockholm and Jay were going into the box and his gaze rocketed to the computer. The handsome bay stallion looked fit and ready - hopefully Jays wrist wouldnt be too weak to handle the demanding technicalities of the prestigious course.

Teegan saw Kayden's eyes dart to the computer screen, she craned her neck just slightly to see what he was watching- eventing. She smiled to herself and loved the interest he had in horses. She saw the tiny expression on Jessica's face that she sorta looked interested in Kayden. And at that Teegan was sorta jealous, she didn't show it at all though; just mentally. Teegan had always been a girl who keep alot of her feelings and thoughts to herself, and wasn't about to go start a cat fight between a girl she'd met and this guy she was crushing on that she barely knew.
She looked down at the picture Jessica had presented her with, pretty mare. She looked up at Jessica and gave her a small smile, when she asked if Teegan rode too, she nodded then responded with Yeah- I've ridden western my entire life, but not I've just started to take englsih riding lessons, with Kayden, she said but didn't add that last part out loud. She stole a quick glance at Kayden from the corner of her eye then turned her attention back to Jessica.

Kayden kept his eyes glued to the computer, watching with severity as Stockholm navigated the first jump with ease before streaking off through the trees to the first water complex. Kayden dared to let his eyes roll casually over the picture of the warmblood the girl Jess showed off. "Nice." Hearing the splash that indicated that Stockholm and Jay had taken the daunting four foot drop into water successfully. A smile struck Kayden's face as he watched. His own horse show was coming up, a one star show that would be challenging for both Cruz and himself.

Jess nodded and turned to Kayden to see if he would answer also. When she saw that he wasn't even paying attention her first thought was he was a jerk. THen she noticed that the tv had caught his attention. sHe smield as the horse jumped. "YOu knwo them?" she aske dhim. ooc. sorry crappy

Kayden smiled as he watched the dark bay stallion tromp all over the challenging course - he understood exactly why the rider, Jay, had such a large ear to ear grin. Turning at the other girls question he smiled and nodded. "Yeah, the rider Jay is my trainer, and the horse, TKR Stockholm, is his horse that he's aiming to the next olympic games that i won Rolex with when Jay was injured. Pretty nice animal if you ask me." He turned back to the screen, his brow furrowing as he watched Jay, though his smile still huge grasping his wrist and allowing one of the stable hands to walk his horse off. That was definitely unusual.
"Hmm, so you event or what?"

Teegan listened as the other two spoke about Kayden and the horse and rider pair he was watching, Teegan felf kind of out of the conversation- because she really had no idea what eventing or even english riding was all about, she hoped though that with more lessons from Kayden in her english riding training, that she'd start to get better and better.
She looked down at the science homework on the table infront of her and sighed-why were they even making her do such stuff, it was boring and easy. Teegan was never going to learn anything if this was all they were going to do the whole year. Teegan glanced up at Kayden then reverted her eyes back down to continue working on her homework, she smiled on the inside to herself, god, why did kayden have to be so cute?
