Today London is full of vampires, werewolves, slayers, and humans, but how did this happen? Well, it all started back in the mid-thirteen hundreds when the deadly Black Plague was spread across Europe. Millions of people were dieing and they needed a cure fast. This great scientist who lived in London searched frantically for a cure. He thought he had found the perfect vaccine that would get rid of the disease, it worked on infected animals so it should work on humans, right?
This scientist vaccinated about fifty-three people. Their symptoms of the Black Plaque went away but after a month of being treated something strange happened to the people. Their blood became cold and fangs grew from their canine teeth and they had a craving to drink blood. The monster the scienctist had created were called vampires! At first these creatures went rampid. They went on killing sprees but only at night because the first vamps were severly hurt by the sun.
The scientist who had created these blood-thirsty beasts panicked and quickly attempted to create another cure. He found one alright but it didn't turn out how he wanted. In fact he had created a new beast, in wolf form, the werewolf. These beings were designed to hunt down the vampires and at first they could change whenever they wanted. Things went well at first and over twenty vampires were hunted down, but it seemed they were multiplying. The vamps had learned that if they gave a human some of their blood they became a vampire too.
Soon enough a werewolf accidently attacked a human and it turned into a werewolf too. The new werewolves were smarter with a human brain, rather than a wolf's. Werewolves started to multiply and now with a smarter race but they couldn't change whenever they wanted until they got older. The werewolves thought to themselves that they shouldn't be hunting vampires, anyways what had they done to them other than defend themselves.
Now the scientist was in trouble with two species of beasts running around London. He started a secret society of vampire and werewolf slayers but it never really took off until thousands of years later, now, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. New species and types of vampires evolved and stronger werewolves emerged over the decades. Eventually the two creatures decided to divide London up into parts. North and West were vampire groups and East and South were werewolf groups, leaving central London as neutral territory.
Vampires and Werewolves learned to stay out of sight of humans, hunting animals or humans only in the dark of night. These two groups battled over London's lands for centuries until the year nineteen fifty-eight. They agreed to a peace that they would try to make last as long as possible, and so it has lasted fifty years....
Now there is a new threat in London, slayers. This group had been inactive for what seemed like ever but now they are back. Even though vampires and werewolves try to live life undisturbed by humans these slayers hunt them down. It seems as vampires and werewolves must team up to break this threat, but will they put their past behind them or stir up the urban ashes and start another war? click to enter urban ashes |
