*** Yes, I realize there are very few freshmen currently enrolled at Canterbury, but even if you are a freshman and you plan to show in that class please still sign up- if you end up being the only freshmen to sign up, I will combine the freshman and sophomore classes together.
**All Freshmen- Senior show over fences classes, are set at jump heights ranging from 2'3-2'6.
* Novice classes are open to any school level student, but Novice classes are only for students who have only been jumping cross poles or do not feel comfortable jumping 2'3+.
****The Mini Medal class is open to any class student that competed in their school level show previous to this, so for example, this cannot be your only jumping class of the day. The heights of this round are at a maximum of 3'3.
***** These classes can be entered in by any age level student, but you cannot show in any other class than this, these are meant for the more beginner riders- who are not comfortable at the canter/lope.
****** The Jack Pot classes cost more to enter into, and students of all grade levels can enter; usually this is the most popular class as the 1st and 2nd place winner receive a money, and gift prize. This class is held in pattern form; as in your given a pattern to memorize and then you’ll perform that in front of the judge, and whoever does the best wins.
Classes 33-44, I have no background knowledge really of three day eventing, you can get the run down of what each level is like- by going to this thread, clicky. thanks a bunch to Sonata. You can't enter any jumping classes if you ride a horse thats discipline is dressage. classes without jumping are marked with a + sign. Also if you wish to enter an Eventing class you may only enter one and NO OTHER CLASSES. It is illegal in the real world to enter a horse in more than one event because they are so challenging - remember there are three phases to an event.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL, AND HAVE FUN!
